It was perfect! The house was clean and it had a lot of amenities. Quality was a high standard. I was very satisfied. No neighbors and super sauna. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi was not in operation... Contact was always great. I fell in love with this place! Thank you Truls!

Dear Tina, We loved „Solli“, your arctic paradise at the sea. So much space and light because of the glassfront towards the fjord. Spectacular view and best private Sauna we ever saw. Everything around the house was so easy, thanks also to the perfect information about everything there was to know you and René provided beforehand and your quick responses whenever we had a question. Even though the house is not „infant safe“ we managed pretty good travelling with a 17 month old boy, since there were no stairs inside going down and the upward ones we could block and since it was summer season no need to use the fireplace. Plenty of room to play in the living room. The kitchen was equipped perfetly. Even a bedroom with the greatest view. We stayed with 3 (and a half😉) generations and everyone loved it. Anita and Björn are amazing people! We were well received, showed us and explained everything the cabin. Invite us to extend to them at home for tea with pastries Anna made including strawberry jam and homemade raspberries. Get to know a little bit of local people - it's her one-of-a-kind life, that's why we love Airbnb. The latte is cute, has all the basic and necessary things. The bedrooms are upstair with quite steep stairs, at night it is a bit difficult to get down to the toilet. We got along with a family of 4 people. For 3-4 nights it is quite reasonable to stay in the cabin and compromise on the comfort of a larger, more well-equipped home (and also more expensive). Total pretty good value for the price. The Great Benefits - Perfect location to see the Northern Lights. We saw a few times right next to the house. There is also a nearby car park 3 minutes drive. There is a natural slide in the garden and the kids played for hours in the snow and slide. The sauna is just something extremely rare - a must try, unusual experiences! With sea view and warmth with trees. (Extra charge).

Overall, we had a lovely stay. It was very quiet and the view was beautiful!! We were even able to see aurora lights. We will be happy to come back!!

Aptly named “The View,” this is a delightful place with spectacular panoramic view overlooking Tromso city center, across the water, including the Arctic Cathedral, and up onto Tromsdalen. I could have sat staring out the windows for hours. We walked (two of us ran) the surrounding snow palace. We enjoyed trolls, the top of Tromsdalen, nearby islands, local cuisine, and exploring the city center and trails. Through it all, our hosts were wonderful - patiently and expertly helping with all manner of questions. A terrific, memorable travel experience. Will definitely seek out The View again when our travels bring us back to Tromso.

Definitely recommend! Thorleif gave us great tips and also equipped with snowshoes on site, so we could directly make a snow hike behind the house to a viewpoint far from the tourist groups. Very helpful, likeable, simple. The location was easily accessible by bus and the supermarket right around the corner is also a plus. Thanks!

We were very much looking forward to our stay in Norway and the host was always available. We chose to stay in peace and nature with sauna and hot tub. For the use of this, we had to pay extra which is not very clearly stated. For this price, maybe a little more wood provided because you will certainly not be able to use this and since the price is already pricey anyway, if this is unlimited, we find it. The house was clean, spacious and beautiful view. However, a dangerous staircase, especially the hole down when you are upstairs. Children who are playing do not always have this in mind, maybe a fence provided for safety! The fireplace is definitely a plus because we love this coziness. We were able to admire the northern lights 5 of the 6 nights from the terrace. The kitchen equipment may be a little more extensive. We missed a mixer to mix our soup and a colander to shake off the spaghetti.

Great little private spot for a solo traveller over Easter. Easy to get everywhere and to and from the airport. Had all I needed for a few days. Great bathroom and shower. It was a bit cold but Maria gave me an extra heater to use. I’d come back!

Very good location, with parking, wonderful beautiful view, very clean, kitchen is well equipped, shop nearby, beds very cozy. A big plus was that you can go for a ski tour right outside the front door.

Although the weather was terrible, I felt very comfortable with Hilde and her daughter Anna. They are very friendly and accommodating, I was even picked up at the airport which I found very pleasant. They live in the same house and were always available in case of questions and problems or wrote a message. The apartment is as in the photos, not the most modern but very clean and it has everything you need. I even got shower gel, shampoo, soap and detergent for the washing machine and the most important things were also available in the kitchen. There were also covers with spikes/grips for iced paths, which was very helpful. The bus stop and a supermarket are less than a 5-minute walk away. It's about 30 minutes to downtown. I highly recommend Airbnb and if I come to Tromsø again, I will see if it is free. I've rarely had such great hosts! Thanks so much!

We are thankful that Håkøya Lodge was available for our stay in Tromsø! It was cozy, peaceful, private & clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. From the lodge it was easy to drive into Tromsø as well as over to Sommarøy & Senja. Nina & Bjørn are fantastic hosts! They provided clear, easy instructions for driving to and accessing the lodge. They happened to be working outside when we arrived and offered a warm welcome. We enjoyed being able to visit with them. Håkøya Lodge was a great place to wrap up the road trip portion of our Norwegian vacation! We would happily stay with Nina and Bjørn again!

Excellent experience, I would definitely come back! The house was super clean, warm, and well-equipped. It's located right by the sea, super quiet zone, you can't hear any cars, and you're surrounded by mountains. There's a supermarket near the house that has everything. But if you arrive very late, I recommend bringing food because it will be closed. I highly recommend this Airbnb. Grete and her husband were very kind and helpful at all times. The place is so nice, matching the beautiful scenic view of the city and its reflection on the Lake/River. The house is cozy and complete with all the things you need. Regardless of the coldness of the weather, Edith’s place kept us warm. Edith was so nice. She even asked her nephew to send us to the supermarket because by the time that we arrived, the electricity was cut out, and we won’t be able to cook. So she send her nephew with us and waited til we finished shopping. We would definitely go back to Tromsø, and will definitely choose to stay at Edith’s place. And for the others who would want to create a fantastic vacation in Tromsø, we would definitely recommend Edith’s place.

The place was nice and cozy, perfect for a comfortable stay. It’s in a great location if you’re hoping to catch the northern lights, as it’s on the opposite side of the city with minimal light pollution. The space was suitable for 5 people with luggage, with one double bedroom, one single bedroom, and a sofa bed that fits two. Overall, I highly recommend this place for your stay!

Great stay! Check-in was seamless, and the location was excellent—just a short walk to the city center, Main Street, and the cathedral. The room was small but well-equipped and perfect for a short stay. The highlight was spotting the Northern Lights from the rooftop terrace—a fantastic bonus! Would definitely recommend.

On the way back from the Lofoten to Tromsö, we made a stop here for the last 2 days before the plane left. Great apartment, everything was available that was necessary for a pleasant stay. It was one of the most beautiful holiday apartments we've ever had !! Thank you very much for this, we enjoyed it here very much!!

Very nice basement apartment with fjord/mountain views, easy access and parking. Comfortable beds, dark bedrooms (useful in the summer!). We had a great time!

Ingrid was so helpful and we're grateful for a place to stay so close to the city center! This place had blackout curtains which was necessary during the midnight sun. The building even had an elevator which was useful since we had brought lots of baggage and a stroller. This location is in a great place and is very close to coffee shops, terrific restaurants and other parts of Tromsø where you can have delicious food and take in the scenery. Would recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay at Tea's place. The location is fantastic, only a 5 minute walk to the centre of town. The place is small but perfect for solo travelers or a couple. Comfortable bed, great shower and well-equipped kitchen (including coffee maker). And Tea was very helpful with any issues. I highly recommend if you are looking for central and comfortable place to stay in Tromso

I really enjoyed staying in the apartment. 5m from the center, 2 supermarkets and buses nearby. At the airport I couldn't find the public buses, so I took the airport express (from the airport to the scandic ishavshotel) which makes several stops. I liked the city and the surroundings/fjords/islands with spectacular views. The midnight sun, walking down the street at night as if it were afternoon was surreal. Quiet and clean city 🙂
