Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Kvaløya

Excellent house and host family, great nature and fine village, we enjoyed watching the different kind of birds.

Apartment was incredible and perfect for our family of 3. If you want to be away from city center, this is the place for you. Local transportation is within walking distance and very reliable even during a snowstorm. Knut was welcoming and helpful. Can’t recommend Knut’s place enough.

The apartment is located in a quite neighborhood at the top of the mountain. The bus stop is only a few hundred meters away. Across the street you have a beautiful view of the city, on the last evening we watched the aurora lights above the house, the city and the stony, really very nice. For skiers (cross-country skiing) the area is perfect. There are several illuminated trails in the immediate vicinity (e.g. Charlottenlund or Prestvatnet). I also liked the Tromsø Alpinpark. They are very nice hosts, I didn't have to ask any questions at all, as everything was answered beforehand via the Airbnb app (code for the key box, Wi-Fi, garbage separation, access to the apartment, ...). Since it was not my first stay in Tromsø, I did not rely on excursion tips, but there are several brochures on the shelf for this. By bus you are down in the city in about 10 minutes. The surroundings (generally northern Norway) are beautiful.

Karsje’s place is just amazing in one word. The place is so cozy offering amazing views of Tromso. The space was perfect for 5 of us including our 5 year old son. The house had a well structured instruction manual so that we didn’t have to bother the host a lot, but still they were very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of utensils so that you could cook without any hassle. There is a car parking available and also the bus stop is just a 10 minutes walk from the house. Just keep in mind that the house in a quite neighbourhood a bit away from the city, so you will have to travel a bit to find restaurants and supermarkets ( 10 minutes with a car or 15-20 minutes with bus). We enjoyed the stay a lot and would recommend it to anyone who visits Tromso.

Excellent experience, I would definitely come back! The house was super clean, warm, and well-equipped. It's located right by the sea, super quiet zone, you can't hear any cars, and you're surrounded by mountains. There's a supermarket near the house that has everything. But if you arrive very late, I recommend bringing food because it will be closed. I highly recommend this Airbnb. Grete and her husband were very kind and helpful at all times. Amazing place! Gorgeous views across the water from the living room windows. Easy walk (or bus) into the centre of town. Also nice having a grocery store 3 minutes away. Charlotte was super friendly and the apartment had all the basics for a stay (laundry detergent, coffee, etc.). Was a perfect base for my short stay in Tromsø.

We really loved the place. The location was convenient and just 8mins away from the city centre. 2mins walk from the bus stop. Grocery centre right on the other side of the building. Amenities in the room were perfect enough keeping all the needs in mind. Lars was very supportive on all our doubts and very responsive. We would definitely would love to stay in this place in future if we visit to Tromso again.

We had a fabulous stay. Easy to check in with the code sent. The house was spacious, rich in content and clean. Here was everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. We had wonderful weather with midnight sun and nature experiences with reindeer right outside the house. The house is close to the bus stop, so it was easy to get around without a car. We chose to go on an evening trip to the city center to explore Tromsø by night and easily took the night bus home. Anette was always quick to respond to messages and had several good local tips for us. We would gladly came again 😊

it's quite far from the city ( 15 minutes by taxi ) i tried to call uber at 3pm and i could't get one. Tom said i could call taxi ( or book through website ) , which i haven't tried. there's a bus stop nearby, but you must go downhill from the apartmen. if you bring many lugagges, i think taxi is best. that's the downside. but the apartmen itself, loveeee it. The view facing tromso ( from 2 of the 3 bedrooms, and from living room ) is superb. so, no regrets. really enjoyed our stay here.

The home was really beautiful and as described. The star of the home was the steam shower that was perfect after a long day of hiking. The couch was also large. Jarl was really flexible for our check in and out, plus was really fast to respond especially as we arrived which was helpful. You are only a thirty minute walk into town, so very close to all the bakeries and restaurants. Area is quiet, and one of the bedrooms is really dark which is great for the midnight sun.

Innika's house is really beautiful and spacious. We were there as a big family and enjoyed our time in the house. The beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious, toilets were clean and kitchen was well equipped for us to prepare vegetarian meals. We were able to spot a streak of northern light from the parking one night. Also, we enjoyed the Sauna which Innika has installed. The trip to Tromso city was only 40 minutes by car, despite the roads being completely covered with snow during our time of Stay. We loved our experience and would definitely come back here.

We wanted somewhere comfortable, warm with amazing views across a fjord. This house was perfect. We enjoyed watching the landscape change with the weather. We saw fantastic Northern Lights on the two clear nights from inside the house, but had to go outside as they were all over the sky. A good place for photography. The house is extremely well equipped and has everything you need, including snow shoes which enabled us to go on two walks in the deep snow. The log burner was fantastic with plenty of logs and the WiFi was great. Anne was an amazing host keeping in touch and updating us on a road closure due to an avalanche risk. We would definitely stay here again.

Aptly named “The View,” this is a delightful place with spectacular panoramic view overlooking Tromso city center, across the water, including the Arctic Cathedral, and up onto Tromsdalen. I could have sat staring out the windows for hours. We walked (two of us ran) the surrounding snow palace. We enjoyed trolls, the top of Tromsdalen, nearby islands, local cuisine, and exploring the city center and trails. Through it all, our hosts were wonderful - patiently and expertly helping with all manner of questions. A terrific, memorable travel experience. Will definitely seek out The View again when our travels bring us back to Tromso.

We were 8 people staying in Heidi's house for a week, focused on active spending of time (skiing, skitouring, hiking, ...). It was a great time - thank you for that! The good: 1. The house is very spacious, very comfortable with 8 people. 2. The living room is just the best 3. The location of the house is very good, close to city and airport yet in nature. 4. Heidi was super responsive and kind There is some room for improvement: with this price point I would expect the kitchen equipment to be more complete (e.g., we had the feeling that there is not enough knives and they are blunt, pans are cheap and scratched, cork stuff to put hot pots on top missing...), the fireplace came without the fire iron - weird, there were no matches just an not working lighter... Also, the heating system in the house seems to be a bit insufficient: we were using the fireplace all the time - would be cool if wood was supplied. But all this can be improved. All in all we love the satay!

The house is very homy and the scenery around the house is beautiful although I didn’t see the northern light. The host is very helpful and fast respons. I will be back again one day. Thank you Kamila and Eirik.

A fantastic view! I can definitely imagine coming back! The only flaw is the very modern but still quite dark bathrooms. But that's just my personal opinion. My fellow travelers didn't mind. It was very clean and stylish.

Beautiful stay in Tromso and in Siv’s home! The apartment was easy to find, secure, and centrally located. We walked everywhere, to restaurants, tour pickups, shops. Her home is clean, comfortable, with plenty of space and good views of the water & mountains. Siv is a wonderful host, always friendly and communicative. Highly recommend!!

Amazing apartment very close to hiking trails and nature. Overlooking the river, and with easy transport to the city. Hosts are very nice, and helpful.

We had a lovely time at this place and Øyvind was very responsive when we encountered small issues in the kitchen. The location is ideal to visit Tromso, close to the city without being right in and in the middle of idyllic locations to see the northern lights... You can even see it directly above you on the porch, a treat to go and track them down! My only small negative point was the access to the accommodation, a little complicated with the slope in the middle of winter so if handicap I would say be careful... Otherwise everything will be very easy and you will greatly appreciate your stay! Bonus point for bedding that was incredibly comfortable!
