Apartment holiday rentals in Kvaløya

I stayed 4 nights alone in Espen’snplace and it felt straight like home. So cozy & the views were phenomenal. Even spotted the northern lights outside in the lane. The only catch is that it’s far from the city centre but the buses in Tromso are super convenient & cheap so travelling wasn’t a problem. Would definitely reconsider staying here on my next trip to Tromso!

Dette var den beste Airbnb vi har bodd på! Huset i seg selv er en design perle der ingenting er overlatt til tilfeldighetene. Utsikten fortreffelig. Leilighet ligger godt skjermet for seg selv, og man får nyte privatliv. Den er større en den virker på bilder, og holder høy standard. Perfekt avstand til byen, og butikker med en liten biltur. Området har en strand 5 minutter fra huset. Turløype rett bak huset. Når det kommer til vertsfamilien forstår vi at de er superhost, rett og slett vertskap i ypperste klasse. Vi følte oss velkommen med en gang. Familien er veldig omsorgsfulle og hjertevarme. Dette stedet blir vi å benytte flere ganger. 10/10⭐️

Amazing job of converting boathouse into very nice living quarters. Hosts are friendly, responsive, and provide very good info on what to do in the area. We saw northern lights over the marina during our March stay. Turn on Youtube, put on a crackling fire, and enjoy watching the boat traffic pass by. A big snowstorm came in before and during our stay and they did a great job of keeping the driveway clear. The road from Tromso was also fine for driving during our winter stay. We got a few groceries and the kitchen had everything we needed. Cabin is warm and cozy, VERY clean. Great location for exploring the area. We would stay here again.

Bardzo miłe i przytulne kameralne mieszkanie. Okolica spokojna, trochę na uboczu, ale przez to blisko natury, super miejsce do dpacerów. Gorąco polecam

We really enjoyed our stay here and in the delightful, picturesque village of Ersfjordbotn. For any visitors hoping to use the bus, number 425 Mon to Fri goes from/to Tromsø, only a few times per day and on a Saturday it's the 425 then 42 (no service on a Sunday). The location of this apartment is stunning and we enjoyed deep snow while we were there. The apartment/kitchen is well equipped, the bed has a firm mattress and it is more spacious than photos might suggest. I would have loved a door on the bedroom or curtains on the living area/front door as even in March it gets light at 5am! There is no shop in Ersfjordbotn so you will need to bring absolutely everything you need with you. There is a fabulous café though which we highly recommend visiting for lunch or a cake.

Veldig fornøyd med oppholdet. Utrolig pen og moderne leilighet med alt man trenger. Gode senger, som er et stort pluss. Virkelig til å anbefale!

Rauhallinen sijainti ja hyvin varusteltu asunto. Sopii täydellisesti myös pidemmäksi aikaa. Kauniit maisemat suoraan ikkunasta. Ylämäki talolle on melko jyrkkä. Talossa on kaksi muuta vuokrahuoneistoa, mutta oma sisäänkäynti tuo yksityisyyttä. Majoittaja ystävällinen ja olo oli tervetullut.

Stein and Karen were great hosts! The Airbnb was a little hard to find and reach amidst the snow and ice. But Stein personally came out to welcome and guide us. The equipment, especially the crampons, that they lent us were lifesavers for when we drove around Kvaløya to hunt for Northern Lights. The Airbnb itself was very cozy and well equipped. Very beautiful views that matched the photos. We were very lucky and was able to see the Aurora right from the patio on both nights that we stayed. Would love to stay again if we visit!

We feel so lucky to have met Jorgen—an amazing Superhost! He went above and beyond to help us: booking taxis, sharing travel tips, and even waiting late into the night for our arrival. He also kindly cleared the ice from the front door to make wheelchair access easier—just one of the many thoughtful things he did for us. The house was spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully prepared (we even found band-aids in the drawer—such a caring touch!). Wishing you and your family good health and happiness. Perfekte Unterkunft als Zwischenstopp für unseren Roadtrip von Alta zu den Lofoten. Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit der Unterkunft.

Eine top Wohnung in top Lage. Die Wohnung ist sauber und gemütlich. Hat alles was man braucht. Die Schlösser können auf dem 1. Blick kompliziert wirken da diese mit einem System laufen aber wenn man es einmal herausen hat. Top.

Meget fornøyd med supert opphold, og seriøse verter som gjorde opplevelsen vår bra! Lett å få tak i dersom det skulle være noe!

A great place to stay in Tromso! Not too close to city centre, but very peaceful and walkable in 30 minutes, or there are many buses.

Fantastisk fint opphold hos Simon. Leiligheten var nøyaktig som beskrevet, veldig ren og gode fasiliteter og utstyr. Fantastisk utsikt mot kveldssolen og fjellene rundt. Litt for god seng som kan gjøre planer tidlig morgen litt problematisk😅 Anbefales på det høyeste 🤩

Stor, lys og innbydende leilighet på vakker plass. Greit å finne frem, god parkering og god kommunikasjon fra verten.

easily accessible, nice place, very quiet location

Logement propre et bien décoré, situé sur la belle île de Sommarøy avec ses eaux cristallines. Possibilité de randonnées a pieds au départ de la maison. Logement conforme a la description mais cuisine et une chambre un peu petite pour 4 adultes. Cependant sur cette belle île il est difficile de trouver mieux.

We had an incredible stay here in Tromso. The location is amazing with stunning scenery in every direction. We were pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful walking path along the ocean just steps from the Airbnb. Bjorn was very response, answering all of our questions and providing local recommendations. The apartment was super clean, cozy and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.

Magnus is a great host with a beautiful and newly renovated property right by the beach.

Het appartement was exact wat wij nodig hadden voor 5 personen. De ligging was top. Heel dicht bij de bus en op wandelafstand van het centrum van Tromso. De vader van de verhuurder woont vlakbij en is zeer behulpzaam. Elke dag werd de trap sneeuwvrij gemaakt. Bij aankomst op zondag reed hij nog even met ons naar de dichtsbijzijnde supermarkt zodat we de benodigdheden voor het ontbijt konden aankopen. Er is een wasmachine en droogkast.

Short walk to shops and restaurants (much better and shorter than it looks on the map) but still nice and private on waterfront. Cable car/cathedral bus stop not too far away. Amazing balconies and beautiful views (was snowing most of the time we were there but could still see faint glow of Northern Lights from the hot tub)! Great kitchen - plenty of plates/utensils/glasses/etc. Lots of dining space, couches, TVs, etc. Bedrooms a little small, but typical for Europe and beds were very comfy and warm. Our 4 year old loved the deep jacuzzi bath. Washer and dryer in the bathroom - which was amazing as it meant we could pack light and do laundry every few days. Appreciated the disposable slippers! Everything easy to find, really good instructions for everything (except maybe ovens but I'm sure if we had messaged Elisabet she would have helped immediately, we didn't really need to use them so didn't bother). Everything was super clean. Really enjoyed our stay!

Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben, super gemütlich und mit einer traumhaften Aussicht. Arthur hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen, uns einige Tipps für Tromsø gegeben und sogar noch Getränke für den Whirlpool gebracht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank :)

W sekcji z określeniami do wyboru jest opcja "Miejsce wygląda jak na zdjęciach" zaznaczyłam tę opcję, ale to nie prawda, Miejsce jest lepsze niż na zdjęciach! Możliwe że to najpiękniejsze miejsce w jakim do tej pory byliśmy!! Cudowne widoki z okna salonu, obu sypialni, tarasu, ogrodu i jacuzzy 🥹😍 Widzieliśmy zorzę każdej nocy naszego 3 dyniowego pobytu z plaży która jest przy samym domu. A kiedy raz zorza była po drugiej stronie nieba (nie widocznej z naszej plaży) wystarczyło przejść na inną plażę na skróty, na drugi koniec wyspy (może ze 100 metrów) Urocza altanka do grillowania która jest do dyspozycji gości dopełniła obrazu tego miejsca jako małego raju na ziemi idealnego na wypoczynek. Właściciele są super mili i bardzo pomocni! Nie możemy się tego miejsca oraz jego gospodarzy nachwalić! 🤗 POLECAMY Z CAŁEGO SERCA!!!
