Holiday rentals with a sauna in Kvaløya

It was a wonderful stay. The house is clean, organized and equipped with everything we needed. The host made sure and kept in mind all the little details for our comfort, bathroom has a full closet of extra fresh towels, extra toiletries etc kitchen was also equipped with every item we needed. Bodil and Elise are so sweet and helpful. Thank you both for the lovely stay.

Great friendly host in an incredible location. We found lots of peaceful areas nearby to walk in the snow. We rented but there are many easy ways to reach the town centre whether by foot or public transportation. Sauna was lovely and the apartment is even cleaner and nicer than the photos. Would recommend for a lovely cozy holiday! :)

We had a great time at the Airbnb, Torbjørn and his wife are really great hosts. It was a cozy place we always felt lucky to come back to.

Wir waren für drei Nächte in Tromsø und haben und bei Giæver sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war groß genug, die Küche gut ausgestattet und alles war wie beschrieben da. Giæver hat schnell auf Fragen geantwortet und es hat alles super geklappt. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und würden nochmal wiederkommen.

uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen wir konnten Nordlichter, Seeadler und Otter aus dem Appartment heraus beobachten

Flott sted å bo! Pål var rask å svare og hjalp til å tilrettelegge for vårt ankomst. Gjestene hadde alt de måtte trenge for sitt opphold og hadde bare positive ting å si om plassen. Anbefales videre til andre som skal besøke og vi ønsker gjerne å komme tilbake ved senere anledning.

We had a lovely time in the apartment. It is very closed to the bus station and the sauna makes the whole place perfect. Definitely recommend!

Our stay with Said was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, he treated us like royalty. He went above and beyond by picking us up from the airport, taking us to the swimming complex, and even personally ensuring we had a seamless transition to our next apartment. 💚 Said’s hospitality was unmatched—warm, thoughtful, and always attentive. And let’s not forget the apartment itself: a toasty 30 degrees inside! 🏝️ ☀️ It made us momentarily forget we were in a northern country 😆😎 He made us feel completely at home and cared for every step of the way. This was, without a doubt, one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. Per is the best host ever❤️ He was super friendly and caring, and responded very quickly. All the suggestions he provided is really accurate and I had the best time in Trømso. The place is very cozy and clean with everything we needed. We can even see northern lights outside the room as well! Greatly recommended to everyone who is visiting Trømso.

Said was an exceptional host! Friendly & communicative, he even sent a driver to collect me from the airport & take me to get groceries before dropping me at the doorstep as my flight arrived on a Sunday evening when public transport is limited. 5* host!! The apartment is stylish & comfortable with a beautiful view, I saw the northern lights from the front porch! It is a little way from the city, but the bus stop is very close by & public transport is easy to navigate (Said recommended the transport app “Svipper”) beautiful city. Would highly recommend. 😊

Die Gastgeberin war super freundlich und hat tolle Tipps bezüglich der Umgebung und Aktivitäten gegeben. Die Wohnung war sauber, gemütlich und die Gegend ruhig. Alles top 😃

Wonderful apartment, highly recommended. Light and airy and south facing so it gets the sun with nice views over the town and the fjord. Well appointed and comfortable, lovely comfortable bed. Easy to access, the local bus from the airport stops very close. Great location for an easy walk to the centre of Tromso. Quiet. You can’t go wrong. Great communication from Tor Andre.

Le logement est absolument parfait. Nous avons vécu une expérience unique grâce a ce logement. La vue est extraordinaire. La réalité du lieu est encore mieux que sur les photos. Tout est pensé pour rendre le séjour le plus agréable possible. La cuisine est impeccable et dispose d’absolument tout ce dont on a besoin. Même un appareil pour faire la mousse de lait. Nous étions 6 et jamais nous nous sommes sentis entassés, le logement est très ouvert et spacieux. L’attention aux détails, aux matériaux de construction nobles, à la décoration ou aux plantes y amène une énergie unique… on s’y sent bien. le calme qui y règne est une autre grande qualité du logement. Qui plus est, la communication avec les propriétaires a été hyper efficace, rapide et précise. Ils sont d’une grande gentillesse. Je ne peux pas un conseiller ce logement, il est l’un des meilleurs que j’ai expérimenté sur Airbnb et je n’irais ailleurs sous aucun prétexte si je revenais à Tromsø

The home was really beautiful and as described. The star of the home was the steam shower that was perfect after a long day of hiking. The couch was also large. Jarl was really flexible for our check in and out, plus was really fast to respond especially as we arrived which was helpful. You are only a thirty minute walk into town, so very close to all the bakeries and restaurants. Area is quiet, and one of the bedrooms is really dark which is great for the midnight sun.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house was updated and had everything we needed and even some things we didn’t know we needed, like snowshoes! Evelyn and Jim told us when the lights were visible and the house was a perfect place to see them.

Innika's house is really beautiful and spacious. We were there as a big family and enjoyed our time in the house. The beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious, toilets were clean and kitchen was well equipped for us to prepare vegetarian meals. We were able to spot a streak of northern light from the parking one night. Also, we enjoyed the Sauna which Innika has installed. The trip to Tromso city was only 40 minutes by car, despite the roads being completely covered with snow during our time of Stay. We loved our experience and would definitely come back here.

Amazing cabin in an ideal location for Tromsø and other day trips. Bus stop near the house but would recommend having a car to get the most out of the trip. Everything you need for a trip to the arctic. Great communication from generous hosts, flexibility and easy contact. Lots of wildlife, lots of snow, very peaceful!

The moment you open the door to Øyvind's beautiful house you find a sense of peace, it is so beautifully designed with the giant picture window looking out over the landscape and great views over the valley. Høyrostua is spacious and has a very clean look, warm and cosy, so nice you almost want to stay indoors all the time! The kitchen is fully equipped and there is plenty of room to find little quiet areas to escape to. The location is well placed to visit picturesque places like Senja Island and the local nature. Øyvind was always quick to respond with helpful tips and answered any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this treasure of a place!

The check-in process was very clearly explained, down to the details. I had accidentally listed one person too few, but the owner personally came by to bring us extra bedding. He was extremely friendly and helpful!!! The only problem was that we had two cars, but only one parking space was available. We didn’t expect it to be difficult to find parking nearby — but it actually was. In my opinion an accommodation meant for 8 people, one parking space is not enough.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Lage ist einmalig mit dem Blick auf den Fjord. Das Haus hat alles was man zum Leben braucht und ist gut ausgestattet. Es war makellos sauber und angenehm. Wir können unsere volle Empfehlung abgeben und würde bei einem weiteren Besuch von Senja gerne wiederkommen.
