We had a lovely stay at Mala - it was a perfect spot to relax and reenergize after climbing Kilimanjaro. The photos almost don't do it justice - the space is gorgeous: from the dining area to the pool and the beach beyond, it's a little slice of paradise. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable but still match the island vibe, and we loved making use of the beach bar. It's a great spot if you fancy a few days of total rest and relaxation! Staff were friendly and very sweet.

Had a lovely stay. Everyone including staff and front desk were very friendly and always checking up on me to make sure I was okay. Food was very tasty, and drinks were delicious. Lots to do in the area about 30 - hour drive , if you request a driver or tour guide.. excluding safaris and going into different towns. Can’t wait to visit again !

Ali has the paradise. Only a few beach houses, completely secluded and absolutely gorgeous. Swimming at high water is great, and in the night you see the Milky Way. Food is fair, but the beer is a bit pricy (5€ per bottle). Will definitely come back

We had a wonderful time at AFYA Village. The garden feels like you are in paradise, the view is fantastic and the food & breakfast where just delicious. Ali is a great cook and his team is super friendly and nice. Highly recomendable. Thank you!!

Look no further, please! This is the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had in my life. Fabbro is something else and I’m so glad I had a chance to connect with this amazing human being. The place is nice, private, clean, just a few mins away from the beach, groceries and restaurants. The team which works there is so nice, I don’t have proper words to describe. We had the most fabulous two-week stay at Octopus Garden. Fabrizio and his amazing team were so kind, welcoming, and always available with great local tips and recommendations. The property is set in a beautiful, quiet tropical garden, and we loved how peaceful and secure it felt. It’s just a short walk to the beach, and the accommodation was well-equipped for cooking and washing, which made everything super convenient. Everything about our stay was wonderful – we truly didn’t want to leave. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

We have just had two blissful weeks at Baobab Bungalows and are really pleased we chose this place. It is newly built but has wonderful well-established beautiful plant life around the grounds and three old baobabs at the entrance. The pool is well designed and always clean. There is a shallow ledge where we lay in the water, gazed at the night sky and saw a shooting star! The bungalow is well built, comfortable and beautiful inside. There’s two ceiling fans and air con inside and another ceiling fan in the outdoor space. The main host, Arjan designed everything with good attention to detail and aesthetics. He is immensely warm, friendly and helpful. Co-host, Donna has also been really lovely, attentive, responsive and helpful. We’ve felt very well looked after. There has been some issues with power outages on the island so they have bought a generator for constant electricity. Having explored the island quite a bit, I’d say the property is in a very good location. Go on, book it!
