Murli is a polite, attentive and proactive host. We appreciated his kind demeanor, availability for our questions and suggestions for our requests. The property is at a river bank, the food is homely and the staff is helpful. This is a great base in Tirthan valley.

Frank and Alok are amazing hosts who don’t leave a single stone unturned in order to make sure your stay is comfortable and amazing. The place is remote, so please respect the locals and you will have a great stay. Airbnb location is wrong so simply put 4rooms in google or just contact Frank.

I recently stayed at the dog on the hill that exceeded all my expectations. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Their friendly dogs were a delightful bonus, adding to the homely atmosphere with their playful and affectionate nature. The view from the homestay was nothing short of breathtaking. Waking up to stunning landscapes was a highlight of my stay. The environment was serene and picturesque, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the best parts of my experience was the opportunity to make new friends. I met some truly wonderful people during my stay. The combination of a great host, friendly dogs, beautiful views, and new friendships made this homestay an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

The place was more beautiful then the photos. The hospitality and the helpfulness was just awesome. The team went out of their way to help us with baby food. I would definitely love to visit the place once again.

My two friends and I visited "For a while" in September 2016 and this was certainly one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had in my entire life. The sheer natural beauty of the valley alongwith the warmth of Debapriya, Shalini and the staff at For A While made this a magical experience for us. The attention to detail is hard to miss in this place. Right from the decor of the place to the constant communication by the hosts during our journey to their constant attention to our stated (and unstated) needs....made us feel at home even before we got to the place :) The place can be reached after a bumpy ride during the last stretch (of 2 km)....but it is totally totally worth it. This is perfect for anyone who wants to undergo a digital detox, just be in the lap of nature and experience small joys like climbing hills, walking along the river, collecting wild flowers or just chilling by the cottage with a book. Additionally, we were treated to lip smackingly delicious meals every single day wherein some of the ingredients were freshly grown in the vegetable patch nearby. Our evenings were spent over long conversations with the hosts and musings under a phenomenally starry sky. As if all of this wasnt enough....we actually saw two shooting stars and a rainbow! Such fun! On one of the days we drove up to the Jalori Pass (which is a 3 hour drive from here) and our hosts very thoughtfully packed a picnic basket for us....which we relished when we were starving during our hike. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy the hills, valleys and rivers in a rustic and warm space....and rediscover the many joys that can be found by just wandering around :)

Rare combination of hospitality and genuine effort to provide guests with experience they will never forget. Of course the location of the property is something to be seen to believe. Minor inconvenience is somewhat long road drive to Jai,s place from nearest airport or main city but if some one is traveling to enjoy nature then the drive also will take your breath away.

I loved my stay at Ara, this place is a ture gem. The host's warm hospitality made us feel like we were visiting old friends. The place is very neat and clean, and the homely vines create an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended. Thanks to Harish ji( Host) for making our trip amazing.

Pooja is very nice host and place is also nice. Her guidance and recommendations on nearby small hikes was very helpful. Special mention for her aloo parathas and chutney in the morning, extremely tasty. Overall, a nice stay with very good food and amazing location.

Simran is probably one of the kindest people we’ve met. Her place was absolutely beautiful and we loved every moment of our stay. We were staying within the premises of their great restaurant and everybody at the property was really humble and helpful. Their restaurant has one of the most delicious Italian food that you can ever have. This is definitely somewhere you want to stay, and hate when you have to leave. Best place to stay in Naggar. My cousins, friends, and I were thrilled to be the first Airbnb guests here, and the experience was beyond amazing! Despite the snowfall making it difficult to reach, our incredible host, Surya (Suraj), stayed on call, guiding us patiently until we arrived safely. From the moment we stepped in, the place felt like home. The wooden architecture added charm, but it was the hospitality that truly stood out—warm, genuine, and unforgettable. If you want to understand the real meaning of hospitality, this is the place to be. A huge shoutout to Aayush and Kaka for serving freshly prepared, delicious meals daily (must try HUMMUS and coffee ) with such kindness, laughters, care and jokes. veeru is one of the best hosts in the segment. and awesome place to visit. better than any other hill station. Calmness of the place and the host veeru are the ones which differentiate it from other place.

This place is by the river. The entire house is build of wood. Offers beautiful view and the food here is delicious. Hosts are also very comforting.

The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff were welcoming and offered a refreshing drink upon arrival, which was a nice touch. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with high-quality linens.The staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Our stay was memorable and enjoyable. The space is beautiful and sacred.. every corner is filled with plants which makes the place look very lively. The view is superb facing the west with evening sky to watch. Location of property and view from rooms are perfect. The rooms are good in size and have all the required amenities. The property is lucky to have a caretaker like Sunil. He's so honest, hardworking and helpful. One can get a bus to Manali or Kullu just from downstairs.

He is a wonderful host and his family is very gracious, providing information and whatever help they could. I started my trip in Sarahan and cannot recommend a better way to begin your journey through Kinnaur and further.
