The place was exactly what I needed to reconnect with nature. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. The host was very welcoming, proactive communication and always available to assist with few requirements. I had a flat tyre and she sent someone to assist me without even being asked; this was such an amazing gesture in customer service. What an awesome host, humble and easy to engage with.

What a fantastic stay. It was so much better than I expected based on the price. It’s located in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate and I felt like Snow White with a string of different animals visiting me everyday. He’s was super comfy, really powerful and warm shower, and just overall a very comfy place. Internet was good. Area is safe and the shared facilities are great. I would definetely come back!

Etienne went the extra mile for us. He even borrowed us his phone charger. Verry nice host and had the privilege to meet him at the property. He gave us local recommendations and it did not disappoint. Kaapsehoop is a beautiful place. Hopefully we will be back soon.

We really enjoyed our stay! Really great location had animals at our door all hours of the day. The house was really clean and had everything we needed. Vincent and his partner were excellent, really friendly and responded immediately to anything we asked. Loved every minute! We will be back. :)

Loved this place! Marnell made extra effort to ensure we took the best possible road to her place and was very friendly. The farm was so tranquil we were sad that we didn't book the previous day too. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone!

We had a wonderful stay at Mopani Villa! Would recommend for anyone who wants a quick weekend getaway to the bushveld. Lauren is a great host! Lots of animals came to visit. I would absolutely stay here again!

This is a gem! The three different building provided a variety of lookout points for the animals. It also creates interest and the decor was super. Exactly what you want for a bush safari experience. The pool was nice and big for the children to play in. The kitchen had everything you need. Great to have a Dishwasher and the host was so kind to let us use the washing machine for our international guests that had little time to do washing elsewhere. Galina, the property manager was absolutely super in providing updates and keeping in contact when we had the unfortunate events of power cuts. All the rooms has airconditioning. Marloth park is growing too fast in popularity and the power grid struggles to keep up in the hot months with all the aircons being used. The hot months are October to February (this is extreme heat). So be aware of power interruptions until they can finally upgrade the grid to cope with the development. Summarizing - a super experience and recommended

We had a wonderful long weekend at Barn Owl Lodge. Nicolette is the perfect host - pleasant, proactive and gave clear with instructions and information relating to our stay. The house is very spacious and well designed. I think the kitchen is better equipped than ours at home. Most of our time was spent on the patio, we could spread out and each find a spot to read and enjoy the view. This is our third stay at Mjejane and Barn Owl ticked all the boxes. Don’t hesitate, just book.

My partner and I had a wonderful one-night stay at Alan's place. We arrived later in the evening, but were warmly welcomed and guided through the gate without any issues. That night, we enjoyed a cozy bonfire in the beautiful courtyard. The kitchen and pantry were well-stocked with essentials, everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Although we had to leave early the next morning, we were able to enjoy a coffee on the porch, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. We only wish we had had more time to stay longer!

This is the second time visiting Lauren's beautiful guest farm and definitely won't be the last time. My family and I felt welcomed and super comfortable throughout the entire stay. Also to Nomsa- you are a star. HIGHLY recommend this beautiful airbnb listing.

Had such a great stay! Felt spacious, homey & loved that all rooms had on suite bathrooms! Super comfortable with the inverter during loadshedding. Kids had so much fun feeding the animals & loved driving around the area. Saw lots of hippos, buffalo’s & elephants next to the river & many warthog’s, giraffe & kudus around the house. Would recommend this stay to anyone!

A beautiful, cozy apartment on a farm with a wonderful garden, nestled between lots of citrus trees. It was a great experience!

We really enjoyed our stay and even extended for an extra night. The place was perfect for a quick getaway with gorgeous views! Renate was warm and friendly, and readily available for any concerns we had, and also gave some suggestions for what to do in the area. We had a good stay and would definitely return. Thanks Renate!

The place is stunning! It was very safe and secure. Would highly recommend. The pool was beautiful and they even provided pool side towels. Alida and Irene were extremely friendly and welcoming.

Family loved the house! Surrounded in nature and saw all sorts of animals. House itself was very spacious and clean. Lot of things to be excited about! Also much affordable option and only 20-30 mins from Krueger park!

This is a fantastic place to stay. Very quiet, peaceful surroundings and the accommodation is top notch. Ulani was very responsive to all our questions and personally welcomed us. The location is very safe and secure which gave us great peace of mind. Their local restaurant at Nabana Lodge was very convenient with a good selection in their menu, good food...and wonderful staff. The location is close to attractions such as Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's potholes, God's Window, Pilgrims rest and of course Kruger National Park. We would highly recommend.

Our family of seven had a fantastic stay. Beautiful place, well appointed, host was responsive, proactive, friendly and was ready for every contingency. WiFi is a little spotty for work video conferencing, but host had boosters throughout the house, and it is as good as can be as the place is somewhat remote. We loved it, great getaway, we had several morning walks in which we saw numerous different birds. Family dogs were very friendly! Highly recommend!

Always a pleasure staying at Del's place. We have booked a few quite a few times in 2023 as we had teams working in the area. Del is a fantastic host and we absolutely loved staying at Zebra Rest. Will definitely be booking again.
