Holiday rentals in Koutsounari

We had a great time in the very peaceful and beautiful appartment of Oli and Toni. The house and the surroundings are beautiful. It's a great spot to discover the wonderful east of Crete. Toni and Oli gave us great recommendations what to do and visit and where to eat. They are great hosts with whom one can have very interesting conversations full of laughter!

We had a wonderful stay at the Seascape Villa! The views are truly stunning and the photos do not do them justice! Maria was an incredible and caring host/ point of contact and was so responsive, providing special tips and recommendations to make our visit enjoyable! She’s happy to help, and even called ahead to restaurants for vegan options for us - thanks! The separate and very private bedrooms with their own entrances are great for sharing the space. Lots of outdoor places to relax and enjoy the view. The secluded rocky beach is breathtaking and absolutely worth the hike down and up - more for the adventurous type but absolutely doable and worth it! So peaceful and gorgeous down at that beach. Sometimes there is some noise from the neighbors and their dogs, cats, and from the road behind the house which is normal/ typical if off a main road and with neighbors - just flagging that although it is private and somewhat secluded it can get noisy at times. 100 percent would return!!

Meine Frau und ich kamen mit einem Mietwagen zu Nikolaos Haus. Dank der Lagebeschreibung konnten wir es auf Anhieb finden. Den Strand konnten wir in wirklich nur 5 Minuten erreichen. Die Küche entsprach voll unseren Bedürfnissen. Alle Geräte und Einrichtungsgegenstände funktionierten einwandfrei. Die vorhandenen Betten ermöglichten einen gesunden Schlaf. Für unseren Mietwagen gab es genug Platz auf dem Hof hinter dem Haus. Die umliegenden Tavernen und Geschäfte waren noch gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Größere Einkäufe konnten wir mit unserem Mietwagen in Lerapetra erledigen. Dort gibt es zahlreiche Geschäfte und sogar einen LIDL-Markt. Diese kleine Stadt ist auch mit einem Bus erreichbar. Die Bushaltestelle liegt nur wenige Schritte vom Haus entfernt. Obwohl Nikos Haus gleich hinter einer stark befahrenen Straße liegt, fühlten wir uns im Haus dadurch nicht gestört. Wir haben uns darin von Anfang an wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

We had a perfect 2 weeks here, swam every day in the crystal clear waters with 1000s of fish, even lucky enough to swim with a turtle one day. House was perfect for me & my wife & teenage boys, plenty of room & so close to beach (& good wifi for boys after swimming). Outside area great to sit together too & eat & play card games & relax on day bed in hot afternoons. The village is fantastic, great places to eat & very welcoming, all a comfortable walk away, & bus into Lerapetra very easy to do for a day out. Antonis was a great host, came to meet us late when we arrived & the one time we needed help he was there for us instantly. Can’t recommend this place enough if you love swimming & getting away from the hustle & bustle. We will for sure come back one day. Craig & Emma

We’ve had the most beautiful holiday in Nouvelle Villa. The accommodation is amazing and provided us with everything we needed (and even more than that ;) The house is cleaned regularly by a very nice lady. Nikos is the best host we’ve ever had. Apart from always being at our service, he’s kind, friendly and very generous. We can’t wait to come back!

Nice apartment with quite some space and nice view at the village and see. The host was very helpful guiding us to good places and restaurants. And there even some delicious welcome presents for us. Airco and wifi worked very good. Kitchen was quite complete as well.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay. Agios Ioannis is a picturesque mountain village and Pasithea has a breathtaking view on the sea. The tavern just below gives a nice lively touch, with the village not being too overcrowded. The family owned tavern is very special incl the best souvlaki! The house is very clean and the kitchen, bathroom and living room eqipped with everything you need, even to make a longer stay possible. The design of the house is also a big plus. It carries traditional design as well as modern details. The terrace is as big as the house itself and the fact that you can open the doors completely makes it even more spacious with a stunning view. Maria was always easy to contact and fast to respond, helping out with everything. We haven’t met but she made our stay feel very warmly. There is no supermarket in town but you can get almost everything within 15min in Koutsounari. We fell in love with Agios Ioannis and will keep coming back.

wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub, die Lage des appartement war für uns optimal. Schöne Strände in der Nähe, Supermarkt vor der Haustür, schöne Tavernen im Ort, mit super leckerem Essen und sehr gastfreundlich. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Gute Kommunikation und immer ein erreichbarer Gastgeber. sehr nett!!
