Villa Bougainvillea is an old stone house that was build in early 19th century and was renovated recently. It is 10 minutes away from the famous beaches of Matala, Kommos,Agiofarago, Kalamaki, Kokkinos Pyrgos and Kaloi Limenes. Because it’s in the south part of Crete, even in the windy days you can find a beach that’s calm enough for swimming. The Minoan palace of Faistos, the archeological site of Gortyna, the cave-graves of Matala are also only 10 minutes away.

Fotinis House - Family house close to Matala

Fotini’s House is located in the beautiful village of Petrokefali in the Prefecture of Heraklion in southern Crete, 10 km away from Matala. It was built in 1924 and has been a property of our family ever since. The fully renovated house we built with love and passion is ideal to accommodate families, as well as couples, who want to enjoy their stay in a hospitable and serene environment, overlooking Phaestos and the imposing mountain of Psiloritis.

The Little Pearl

The little Pearl is a small, traditional, Cretan stone house that is designed for a maximum of two people. It has a terrace with a view of Psiloritis, a romantic courtyard garden where you can enjoy your privacy undisturbed, a double bedroom, a small kitchen and a bathroom with a spacious shower. Everything has been designed with great attention to detail. Information about the climate tax: In the case of Little Pearl, it is 8.00 euros per night.
