Holiday rentals in Kountourata

We had a wonderful time atưnia Apartments. The house and the complex are very nice and we felt right at home! Especially the garden is a nice retreat and invites you to linger and relax. The paradisiacal beach is within walking distance only a few minutes away and we were sometimes there at times (although it was high season), so it almost felt like a private beach. We were warmly welcomed and over the entire periodưnia & Dimitris were very loving, attentive and helpful hosts. We had a feeling every day that we can always come to them should we need something. They also gave us good tips and were always available for a good conversation. Thank you for this wonderful time in the middle of your paradise. We recommend this place and the two 100% and would always go on vacation with the two.

We stayed at Laura’s as it suited our needs as my mother does not walk well so we needed downstairs bedrooms and a pool with steps leading into it, this house was exactly what we needed. Set in a beautiful part of Kefalonia you can watch the beautiful sunrise in the morning and enjoy the sun around the pool during the day. You do need a car to get to the house but it is very easy to get around the island from here and makes a great base from which to explore. You can walk to the small town where there is a lovely local bar and a mini market. The house is spacious and comfortable with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Kostas was on hand to help with anything we needed during our stay and was so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for him, he kept us updated with everything we needed to know before and during our stay. We loved it here and would certainly recommend Laura’s place.

We found Nerrissa Bungalows 4 suited us well. We have 3 kids aged 0-5 and they had space to run and play safely. Amazing sea view and expansive balcony to watch the sea and stars at night. Loads of tavernas nearby and of course the beach is 250metres away. Spartia beach is small but perfect for young kids, being shallow and sheltered. We were able to relax and be less vigilant with the kids because it all felt like a safe space. Natassa and her husband were so welcoming and generous with their time and attention. Their gift of olive oil, wine, honey and grannies pie was very nice too!

The villa was wonderful with everything we could have wanted. We checked in really late after a late flight and was super easy to figure out. The pool is outstanding and one of the most peaceful stays we've had. The local area is beautiful (if a little hilly!). We walked to Spartia for drinks and dinner, as well as cooking in the villa. All in all a wonderful week and we'd highly recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing break but still being close to civilisation.

Athanasios and Katerina were fantastic hosts, very welcoming and friendly. The villa was superb and looked even better than the pictures. We would happily revisit and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic experience of Kefalonia.

My best friend and I enjoyed a lovely stay at Maria's villa. It is a very modern property with two large bedrooms and bathrooms and plenty of living space, as well as outdoor furniture, and a beautiful pool. The beach is walkable but best to drive on a really hot day. To get to restaurants and to explore the rest of the island, a car is definitely needed. I also had to find the villa on Google Maps rather than following the AirBnB map directions as that led us to a road about 5 mins away. Highly recommend this place for 2-4 people looking for a peaceful (even with the cockerels next door) stay in Kefalonia!

It's not often I'll say a place is perfect in every way!!! The villa is so beautiful and the view is to die for...it really is breathtaking. I loved everything about the villa: the pool is heavenly; the place is so well cared for - the kitchen is immaculate, the bedrooms have the most stunning views and balconies - the house is pristine. We will definitely be booking to go back again - I cannot recommend it highly enough. I wish there were a few cafes or shops within walking distance , but sadly not, so you definitely need a car, but once you venture out it really isn't far to find a coffee shop (Averto) or a lovely taverna. It is magical!

We enjoyed our stay! The property is beautifully designed, offers a fantastic view and is wonderfully quiet - perfect for relaxing. The owners are incredibly warm and have provided us with many great tips. We will definitely be happy to come back!
