Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Koukaki, Athens

Fantastic Airbnb experience from start to finish, Kleio has excellent communication, super friendly and helpful, the apartment is beautiful, very thoughtfully designed and contains everything you could ever think of for a home from home. I would recommend to anyone and would certainly book again got our next trip to Athens.

Giannis was the best host! Friendly, communicative and helpful, he provided lots of information and tips about the area and Athens. His love for the city and his home was really apparent. The house is quiet, clean and full of art and nice touches, he is obviously creative and it was refreshing to stay in a place with real character! The best thing was the view from the terraces, with the acropolis and city laid before you. Watching the sunset and the lights come on at night was a highlight of our trip! We loved the village feel of the location, walkable to the centre or an inexpensive taxi ride home up the hill. Thank you Giannis, you’re great :)

Clara was sweet and welcoming. He waited patiently for us, even though we were a little late. She had prepared a little welcome drink for us. The house had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, but very communicative with buses, trams and metro. It was easy and quick to get to the center, main attractions and beaches. There were shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so we didn't miss anything.

Everything was perfect! The room was as shown in the photos, clean and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would prefer it again without a second thought.

Stayed here for a week during a conference at Harokopio University. Felt like a perfect location, not too far from Monastiraki, Gazi, or the acropolis, and right next to the supermarket and the Petralona line 1 stop. The place was very nice especially for the price, and it was great to have the outdoor patio space. Konstantina was hospitable and gave a lot of good restaurant and other recs. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Errika's place for a 2 nights for a wedding in Athens. It was absolutely perfect! It's a beautiful flat and a real oasis in the city. It's clean and quiet, we slept really well with no issues. It has all the amenities you need. It's also really close to a metro but also walkable to main sights (if you can bear the Athens heat!). Errika was a great host, very responsive and everything went smoothly. Our plans changed last minute the night before our check out and she allowed us to check out at 2pm which was a huge help. She responded even though I messaged her at midnight, and we appreciated it so much. Errika also left a list of local recommendations and we tried a couple which were both great. In particular, really recommend Naif which is a 5 minute walk from the apartment - the food is amazing and service is super friendly. We went twice we loved it so much! I can't recommend Errika's place highly enough - if you're in Athens, stay here!

Vesna and her husband were very helpful with our check-in and check-out. The apartment was just like in the photos very clean and well organized. We felt right at home. It’s definitely a place where you can feel very comfortable. We also want to thank Vesna and her husband for the lovely gifts.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Athens! The location is really ideal, close to the metro and within walking distance of all the city's activities. The apartment itself is impeccably clean, very spacious and the bed is a real haven of peace after a long day of sightseeing. We particularly enjoyed the balcony with a view of the Acropolis and the presence of a washing machine, very convenient for long stays. Finally, a big thank you to Dimitri, an absolutely wonderful host! He is always available and responds very quickly to all questions. We will come back without hesitation!

The home was wonderful and felt right at home with it. It was very close to Plaka and was walkable to the main attractions and restaurants we wanted to try. In addition even thought it was in the middle of everything it felt very secluded and secure.

It was one of my best stays ever. Our hosts were super friendly, flexible and responsive. One of the highlights to me was surprisingly not the view (although that was fantastic as well) but the cleanliness and the soft sheets on the bed. Definitely will stay here next time! Thank you so much!

The apartment is great and has everything you need, with lots of extra little touches. We walked to the main areas in Athens every day but the metro is nearby if you need it. Plenty of shops, bars etc in the area of the apartment. Renata is very helpful and communication great!

After ten years with AirBnB, Diana’s place wins the laurel! What we’ll remember… Two walls of light- and breeze-filled windows hugging the terrace at right angles. The Acropolis from the chair, sofa, terrace—intimately monumental. Tiny Attic shapes of visitors on its rim. Strains of Turandot from the ancient Odeon. The play of patterns, heights, and angles merging interior and terrace into one clever design. Koukaki: cool, tree-lined, brimming with locals frequenting Diana’s unerringly curated picks (bakery, gelateria, cafes…)—yet central, steps from the Plaka, Psyri, Monastiraki, Thiseio, Ano Petralona. And wherever we roamed, through treasures ancient and modern, the Acropolis followed us home! But perhaps the rarest find was Diana’s extreme thoughtfulness and the generosity with which she shared her rich knowledge of Athens—to praise her spot-on restaurant recs or her help with airport transport and hard-to-find grocery items barely captures it. Thank you for inspiring us, Diana!!!

I recently stayed at Theo’s place for 2 days . Where do I begin? EVERYTHING was on point . The apartment is super clean and modern . Loved everything . It literally has everything , even a flat iron which I’m amazed Now I know where to stay every time I come to Athens I wouldn’t ask for more . Theo was very helpful with everything and answers all the questions in minutes . Thank you very much for everything . I’m definitely coming back!

We had a wonderful stay in Athens at Irene’s place. The apartment was very spacious and nicely decorated, with a comfy bed and air conditioning in the bedroom and living room. It was in a great neighborhood, within walking distance of the Plaka district and the Acropolis. Irene was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend her apartment to anyone thinking of visiting Athens.

Highly recommended! It is very convenient but also safe (this apartment has a security system), and the facilities are also very nice (like Simmons washing machine)

I can't imagine a better place to stay than this apartment in Athens! We will definitely stay again when we are in Athens. It beautifully designed, has all the amenities you need and then some and has the most beautiful balcony with a view of the Acropolis. Plus the host is so kind, helpful and responsive!! It’s all true! I read all the reviews before I booked and could not have been more pleased. Perfect in every way - location, cleanliness, amenities, etc. Panos meeting us there was amazing - we saw other tourists having trouble getting into their rentals in the building. And definitely get the airport driver who is recommended!

This place is amazing. The view is a dream. Location is excellent. Close to restaurants and iconic places to visit. Peaceful at night and spacious. Looks better in person. I would give a 10 score if it was available. When visiting Athens this is the place to stay. Even more if you are a family. They made accommodations for baby guests. This is the third Airbnb in our 17 day trip and by far the best. Amazing service. Superb host.
