Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kololi, Serrekunda

My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks and we had a lovely stay. The house is very clean and pleasant to dwell in and the nature setting in the front yard makes it so peaceful and relaxing. The locals in the village are friendly and the beach is within walking distance which we enjoyed watching the sunset and dipping in. Abdou was sooo helpful and very polite and tended to any of our needs. Having a washing machine was sooo good! I highly recommend Cora and Petes. The tranquiliy, roots and culture is amazing!

The house was as advertised and much more. It’s in a safe and quiet neighborhood with very friendly and always willing to help neighbors. We could not have enjoyed our stay the way we did without the comfort of the place and its close proximity to all the places we wanted to go and visit. It’s about 20 minutes drive from Banjul where we went several times for shopping and other transactions. Close proximity to Kairaba Avenue, the beach and some of the finest restaurants. Our host in the ground Omar was awesome and very responsive to our needs and he went above and beyond for us. If you live Gambian food like we do, coming from Gambia, The neighbor who lives opposite the home called Haddy was great and awesome. I would definitely book this home again if the need arises and would highly recommend it over the bustling and busy areas of Burusibi or Senegambia road homes.

A great stay and real gem of a find! Maria was very communicative and responded promptly to all our requests. The security man was very helpful too. Overall, a clean, modern and spacious find right next to the beach with a great view. Highly recommend!

Rakey was friendly and very helpful I enjoyed my time staying in transport links most importantly very peaceful and quiet private and i will go back there again.

I had a wonderful vacation. The place was very big very spacious. We were not there much. We were out a lot. Omar the attendant. There was absolutely wonderful. He was really at our back and call anytime. My fiancé would call him. He answered. We were coming home at five 6 o’clock in the morning and he would be there to open our gate. The best service I’ve probably ever had from a very kind man. Omar made our stay very pleasant so we thank him very much.

Musa was very accommodating and responsive to all of our queries when we needed the support. The house is very spacious and suited our family of 5 with plenty of space. The property is located on a newly built estate just a short drive from all the local amenities and the Senegambia strip which contains the more tourist side with restaurants etc. The property looks just like the pictures and is secured with fencing & gates so you can also park your car inside. The property is fully air-conditioned & has Wi-Fi. I would recommend staying at Musa’s property as it has everything you need to make the most out of your stay.

The lodge is perfect for anyone wanting a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Gambia, it has everything you need and plenty of space, the family living on site are perfect, they made our stay so much better, keep everything clean and helping us get about, we loved their company but they are very respectful of keeping out of the way, you wouldn't know they are there if you didn't want to. Questions we had are is there a safe, there isn't but with the family living there the compound is safe so not needed, another was is there a generator, again we found out it wasn't needed as the power only went out once and that isn't something that happens often anymore. Sangyang beach is beautiful and not far away and the shops are literally around the corner. The lodge is perfect for anyone visiting Gambia, we took a family but noticed a bird book on the shelf so it would be a lovely base for bird watchers too, the garden is a maze of beautiful plants and trees attracting lots of birds

Lovely house, near to small local shop and taxis, surrounded by trees and hundreds of birds, even a group of monkeys came to visit, great place if you like nature. The main bedroom has a very comfy latex bed and hot water in the bathroom. Anything that was asked for was provided immediately, all in all a lovely place with great host, felt right at home, highly recommend and would stay again .

If you wanna live near/like locals this is a great place. Not far from main road to catch taxis, food, beach. Electric going out for a short period time is normal so dont be suprised. They work hard to make sure everything is working and that you are comfortable. Tedugal is my home when I'm in Gambia

The apartment is located fairly close to the Senegambia strip where the main tourist hotels, restaurants and money changers are located. There is a very good local supermarket that sells all the commodities required for self catering. Nearby are a few restaurants but not a great choice. The beach access is quite difficult for anyone with mobility issues. There is a rough uneven track combined with a steep gradient before you reach the beach. Once you have reached the beach you can walk for miles in either direction. Alongside the property is the famous monkey park. Although several tourists suggested a visit there was little need as the monkeys came us us! Although they are cute to look at, care must be taken to avoid leaving doors and windows open as they will take full advantage.

I've been traveling with Airbnb for many years but I'm so pleasantly surprised that Ibrahim's has been the best. I loved the location,easy access to everything no need for a taxi but if you like as soon as you walk out taxis are available no issues at all. Ibrahim place is safe with 24 hour security/staff so if your traveling from abroad you will feel safe and at home. Inside of my Airbnb was so spacious modern and clean. If your traveling and interested please don't hesitate to book at Ibrahim's such a great and helpful community. Thank you for a fun fantastic peaceful stay!

We had an absolutely amazing two-week stay at Madam York’s apartment. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional service. • Accommodation (Room comfort, cleanliness, amenities) • Service (Staff friendliness, attentiveness, efficiency) • Activities ( beautiful pool friendly for kids). Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a breathtaking view. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, always greeting us with a smile. A special thank you to (Modou) for always helping us with anything we needed. Overall, our stay was perfect, and we can’t wait to return. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway!

I chose this apartment primarily for its location and security. It was exactly as I’d hoped. Beautiful views of the beach which was also easy to access. Unfortunately the sea was too rough for swimming but great for a bit of fun jumping the waves. Short taxi drive to Senegambia where you’ll find loads of bars and restaurants with varied menus to suit all tastes. Taxis are easy to access and very reasonably priced. Small supermarket a few minutes walk from the apartment. I felt very safe at this apartment. Very friendly security staff 24 hours a day. Bakary was also very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was well kept and equipped with sun beds. The apartment was spacious with all 3 bedrooms with a good en suite. Well equipped kitchen. It was not a problem to us but be aware the apartment is on the third floor with no lift. It does add to the fantastic beach view of course.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Abigail's place. Her place was very clean and comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful and the ocean views were breathtaking. There was so much to do in the area, you'll never get bored. You can take a brisk walk along the beach, take a dip in the pool, or walk up to the Senegambia strip where you will find various types of restaurants and other festivities to take part in. There are also restaurants on the property, so you'll never have to leave the premises should you decide to stay put. To add to the wonderful environment, Abigail is such a wonderful hostess. She was responsive, kind and very accommodating. I would happily stay at Abigail's place again. Thank you Abigail! Hope to visit again soon.

If you want really enjoy life in Gambia ,you are in right place.This isnt turistic area, it is real Gambia for Gambian people,but you can enjoy european comfort as running water ,electricity almost non stop and internet. Location in map ,which show AIRBNB is not correct ,house is 7 km from beach ,but for your pocket it is better becouse area is much cheaper that coastal turistic places.beach area -you can go by TUK TUK for plus minus 20 dallasi(0.3 euros). It is walking distance to bus station and exchange offices plus market.

Debbie's place is the best Air BnB I've stayed in, in the Gambia. It is right by the water (the Atlantic ocean) with beach access and pools all around. It is a walking distance to many good restaurants and stores. The place is as described, beautiful relaxing environment, clean, home style luxury, and excellent services. Her house keeper (Nancy) and manager (Alieu) were friendly and went above-and-beyond in making sure that we had a good and enjoyable stay. Debbie was very responsive and helpful in offering recommendations for anything we needed. I highly recommend Debbie's place and will be booking again when I visit Gambia.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying in Awa's family compound. Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. The market was in walking distance to buy food to cook. This spacious and beautifully decorated apartment had all of the essentials for our weeklong stay, plus nice touches such as plenty of mirrors. Also super easy getting transportation from the main road. Will definitely stay again!

Great security quiet clean close to beach what more could you want

What a beautiful place to stay. The apartment has everything you need to make you comfortable. Bed was comfy plenty of seating, washer was the bees knees. Kitchen was like home. The veranda was wonderful, 2 sunloungers, 2 zero gravity chairs and a table and chairs,so able to follow the sun. Plus the monkeys came to visit. The veranda made our holiday. Kololi sands complex has everything you need to have a wonderful holiday. Pool snack bar, restaurant, some entertainment, sunbeds overlooking infinity pool. Henk and Sheriffo were excellent hosts nothing was to much trouble for them. Excellent Hosts.

Great location, good apartment. Would stay again. Generator comes on as soon as power cuts which is great. Management are friendly and welcoming. Internet was the best and most reliable I’ve used in The Gambia, and the AC was strong. Very secure, and would certainly recommend especially if travelling alone.

Our family had a fantastic stay at PB Apartments. Aji and her family were great hosts and went out of their way to make our experience homely and personable! The condo is newly renovated, private and located on the top floor of the building, with easy access to the roof boasting great views along with a pool table. There are also 2 balconies, one in the front and the other in the master suite of the rental. There is fast WiFi, a smart TV, hot water and an inverter offered for Gambian power outages. The home is tastefully decorated and very clean, with housekeeping offered throughout your stay. There is also a small store located on the bottom floor of the building, carrying most all of your essentials. The property is conveniently located just off of Kairaba Ave in Fajara, with easy access to taxis and the beach. We highly recommend staying here for a true Gambian experience!
