A beachfront studio unit sleeping 5 on the same large rural beachfront property as Penguins Retreat and Whitebait Cottage. The sleeping area of the large unit is divided into two so that the queen bed and the second area with another queen bed and single bed have visual privacy but the wall does not go to the ceiling We do not live on the property so this place suits independent travellers who have a car, wanting to spend time on a west coast beach. Located on our little hobby farm in HariHari about 4.5 kms off state highway 6. Our cottage is divided into two beautiful fully equipped studio units. The units are suitable for couples or a single person. The area is very quiet has great views of the surrounding farm land, trees, mountains and our garden. If you want to cook in the little kitchen you will have to bring food with you the nearest supermarket is either in Franz Josef Glacier or Hokitika. The local hotel serves evening meals.

Welcome to our recently renovated home. Our home has a great log burner, heat pump and heat transfer. Open plan living and functional kitchen. All bedrooms are good size. Free wifi available. Methven offers both great winter and summer escapes, with the mountain base only 10 minutes from the house, where you can also find some great mountain walks/biking. Or you can relax in the Opuke hotpools, just a 15min walk. You won't be disappointed staying in our comfortable home.

Large 5 bedroom home overlooking the ocean.

This house sits opposite the Tasman Sea with stunning views over the ocean and south to New Zealand's highest peak - Mount Cook. The views are stunning often with beautiful sunsets. We are a 5 mins drive to Greymouth and it is 1 km neat to the start of the Point Elizabeth scenic bush walk. This is a great bush walk mainly sheltered with good native bush cover. The main bedroom has great sea views and an ensuite. Plenty of parking space is available behind the house.

You’ll love this place because its near new, with 2 beautiful tiled bathrooms with heated floors. Its got free unlimited hi-speed Wifi and a TV in every room. You'll be really warm as it is double glazed and insulated with a heat pump. I have also twisted the arm of some local businesses to give you some discount vouchers too. My place is good for couples, business travellers, bigger groups and families as it has a games room.

Stay in our cosy self contained cottage in the village of Staveley on the Inland Scenic route Highway 72. We are close to conservation parks, local walking tracks including the Sharplins fall track , Staveley Ice skating rink and Mt Hutt ski field. Methven is just 15 minutes drive. Ideal for couples, trampers, adventurers, and families. Families with toddlers need to be aware that a small creek runs through the property.
