Holiday rentals with a patio in Koggala Lake

Замечательное просторное жилье со свежим ремонтом и завораживающим видом на океан. Очень просто связаться с хозяином и персоналом. Много заведений вокруг, 1 минута до океана. Есть минимальный набор моющих средств - гели для душа и шампуни. Достаточно чисто, но на кухне немного начинает проявляться затхлость. Для данного сезона может выглядеть немного дороговато и хочется ожидать больше мелочей при такой ценовой категории, - тапочки, халаты, зубные щетки, больше полотенец, бреющие принадлежности, но это, скорее уже точки для улучшения, все-таки это аппартаменты, а не отель. 11/10 :)

Where to start.. In my 10+ years on Airbnb, I have never come across a property like this. The hosts and their kids are just exquisite. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home and cater to your every need. The apartment is brand-new, super clean, and has all the amenities needed at the same time the lush jungle and green surroundings give a very tropical vibe. Working from home cannot be better, more peaceful, and private and with high-speed internet. The family loves to cook a meal for you, so you can keep on working or simply enjoy a relaxing stay. There is also the possibility to rent their scooter or tuk-tuk, make use of the laundry services and enjoy a yoga session on the rooftop deck. It's situated in the middle of the jungle, with monkeys and all kinds of lovely creatures. We love to surf, and with the beach just 5 mins scooter ride away, we felt like we had everything we could dream of. We will be back for sure!:) Thank you Nalaka and family for the wonderful stay!

This place is great! Sonali is so responsive and helpful. The apartment is just as described, clean and well equipped. You do have to pay extra for AC which is needed. The washing machine is wonderful to have and a really nice touch. We would stay again!

I was searching for a place to establish a home base for my trip when Ann's property caught my attention. I was captivated by what it had to offer in the photos, so I booked it with great excitement. Ann was incredibly responsive and helped me plan my trip accurately by being flexible with my dates, ensuring I felt right at home from the very first day. When I arrived, I walked onto the balcony, which provided a serene view of the Ahangama ocean. The apartment was exactly what I wished for and more. It was very clean, tidy, and thoughtfully furnished. The apartment truly felt like a home, helping me unwind each day and wake up refreshed for the next. I would also like to extend a special thank you to Ann and her team, including Mane, for being exceptional hosts who always greeted me with a smile and provided thoughtful care. We had an excellent stay at this apartment and appreciated all the thoughtful details. Communication with Dakshan was smooth and supportive from start to finish - he was very helpful, always quick to respond, and offered great assistance whenever we had questions or needed guidance. The apartment itself was in top-notch condition, featuring powerful air conditioning, fast internet, and a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. The spacious layout and separate showers in each room gave everyone plenty of privacy and comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the modern yet cosy feel instantly made us feel at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d gladly stay here again.

We really loved our stay in the apartment. It's very nicely designed and has everything that's needed. Also, we really enjoyed cooking in the outside kitchen. The place has a nice working area if you ever need to be productive. Eva was a great host. She was there for us all the time and helped us a lot with everything. The beach is very close and several shops aren't far away.

Haben 3 Nächte bei Josephine verbracht. Die Unterkunft war super schön, geräumig und hatte eine tolle Dachterrasse. Außerdem waren die Empfehlungen klasse - hier hat Josephine ein nettes Dokument zusammengestellt, das man sich unbedingt durchlesen sollte. Außerdem war der Preis sehr fair. Ich kann sie nur wärmstens empfehlen. liegt etwas abseits vom Strand aber es gibt einen kleinen, süßen Einkaufsladen direkt ums Eck und ein super leckeres familiengeführtes Restaurant (Humbhaha Ahangama) fußläufig. Für die meisten anderen Sachen kann man besser ein Tuktuk nehmen. Hier solltet ihr unbedingt die Empfehlung aus dem Dokument beachten, Anoura war einfach super :)! Mein einziger negativer Punkt ist, dass es etwas in der Nähe der Bahnstrecke liegt und daher manchmal etwas laut sein kann - uns hat das aber nicht gestört. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Herausragende Unterkunft, wir haben mit 5 Personen drei Nächte verbracht. Das Haus ist in sehr gutem Zustand, sehr große und schöne Zimmer. Wohn- und Essbereich großzügig, modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sehr freundliches Team, Frühstück nach Wahl, gut und frisch zubereitet. WLAN, Klimaanlage, TV, Boombox und Geräte neu und funktionstüchtig. Bäder sehr schön und geräumig. Pool und Garten sehr gepflegt und groß, Meer- und Strandzugang. Insgesamt eine besondere Villa die den Preis wert ist. Vielen Dank ans Team und die Vermieter!

Really beautiful villa, great attention to design detail. Service was friendly and helpful and we can recommend the home cooking. The food was delicious!

This villa is something wonderful. All the details are perfect, beautiful and sophisticated. The bedrooms are fantastic, the swimming pool is amazing, the garden itself is a gem. And the staff! The housekeeper Sasun with the other guys, runs the villa in à perfect way: they are available for every request, helpful and incredibly skilled! We had many meals at home and it was definitely better than at the restaurants! The position is really good. You can walk in the nature up to the main road, Matara road, where many small restaurants are, or ask the staff to call a tuk tuk. Galle fort is about 30' away! Stephen the owner, is promptly reacting and helpful. Despite the weather in June, to stay in villa Vador has been an amazing experience and I can't wait to come once again! Thanks to Stephen and the staff for having made my holiday so relaxing!

I had a fantastic stay at Green Leaf Apartment! Everything was perfect. The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as shown. The host was super friendly and always helpful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and a real highlight of my stay. I felt very comfortable and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for everything!

We had a stellar stay at Lilypad. Jamie & Angela made sure to take care of everything from before check-in to after check-out. The villa is beautiful with a lovely pool one can relax by. Everything is spotless clean. Pamod, the housekeeper is super. He's efficient, non-intrusive and helps with anything you ask for. I highly recommend Lilypad!

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. LIVING ROOM DOESN’T HAVE AC AND EVEN ROOM AC IS SMALL COMPARED TO ROOM SIZE SO COOLING IS LOW. SWIMMING POOL WAS NOT CLEAN.

This accommodation was great for myself as a solo traveller but would also suit a family, with plenty of room and a secure entry and walled property. Is perfect to spend time around the property but also within walking distance of the main stretch of ahangama but not so close you have to worry about traffic and late night noise. Plenty of wildlife in the area but as the property is kept clean and well maintained no need to worry about them in or around the house. The owner was quick responding to any queries i had such as waste collection and local knowledge of both transportation and places to eat in or out. Over all very pleased with my stay and would definitely stay again aswell as recommend to anyone visiting the south.

Oh my gosh, I had an absolutely fantastic stay! The photos were spot on, and I don’t usually say this about places, but this one was just incredible! The property is right by the ocean, and you have private beach access. It’s one of the few places with a mini gym, which was a huge plus for us. The property also has parking facilities, so if you rent a bike or car, you won’t have to worry about where to park. The staff are super friendly and always ready to help. The galle fort is just a 15-minute bike ride away! There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and the Keels supermarket is only 10 minutes from here. Everything was super clean, and they do regular maintenance, which is great. The kitchen had everything we needed, since we stayed for a month, it was essential for us to have a fully equipped kitchen. The ACs were perfect, and the property has a balcony overlooking the beach. It was so relaxing to sit there and watch the sunset. Mahesh & Kasuni, both helped address all our request

Very nice stay with this lovely family! They are very loving and truely cared about me. They made some food and shared it. Everything what I needed was there. Would highly recommend as a homestay.

Wowww. Where do I even begin?! We were stunned by how much more beautiful this place was in person. It exceeded all our expectations!! The location can’t be beat. Corner unit, two floors, multiple balconies & floor-to-ceiling windows/doors to catch the beach & gorgeous sunset views from any angle! The bedrooms with attached bathrooms, common areas & divine master suite are so spacious and luxurious! I have to give *high praise* for how well maintained this unit is by Dodampe, his lovely caretaker Upul, and the cleaning staff. The place was sparkling clean - kitchen, curtains, sofas & other furniture/fixtures seemed almost brand new! Incredibly high standards for cleanliness, presentation & keeping unit in excellent working order with no issues. Our family of seniors, young adults, and children had lots of privacy for ourselves as well as generous common areas to spend together. Many thanks to Upul for his warmth, responsiveness, all his help & advice. He even brought a welcome gift!

Wir hatten uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Lage ist ein Traum und es war sehr ruhig. Die Familie hat uns herzlich empfangen! Der eigene Balkon mit Ausblick auf Palmen ist wunderschön. Wir konnten dort auch Wäsche waschen und essen kochen. Wenn wir wieder in Matara sind, kommen wir wieder zu euch!🫶🏻

Had a great stay at this beautifully furnished, duplex condominium. The apartment has ample space, is extremely comfortable and ideally suited for a large family or group. It is also equipped with all the amenities you would expect from any 5* hotel. The host, Minoli was also extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. All in all, one of the best condominium properties in the area!

Our stay couldn’t have been more amazing. The apartment is so beautiful and comfortable. It’s spotless clean, great kitchen facilities and ice cold AC. It’s located right in front of a little local beach where there is a lot of boats docked which is stunning for sunset. The locals around are all so friendly as well. Such quick and helpful communication from the host. Couldn’t recommend enough it’s an absolute steal for the price.

We had a wonderful stay in Serenity Villa! The grounds are stunning and well-maintained, and the whole place felt very peaceful. The house was clean with all necessary amenities, and the AC works well. There is also a lovely little cat who lives on the grounds and is very friendly! Sarath (the caretaker) was so welcoming and made us feel very at home. Veronika was a quick responder to messages and very flexible with timings for us. Overall, would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Die Villa selbst ist ein kleines Paradies: gut eingerichtet, sehr gepflegt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich der Garten mit Pool – eine echte Oase der Ruhe, perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Zimmer sind großzügig, sauber und komfortabel, mit einem herrlichen Blick ins Grüne. Zum Strand gelangt man ganz unkompliziert mit dem Tuk-Tuk – die Fahrt dauert etwa 10 Minuten und kostet nur rund 2,50 €. Perfekt, um spontan einen Ausflug ans Meer zu machen. Der Flughafen ist etwa 1,5 Stunden entfernt, der Transfer kostet ca. 75 €. Ideal für einen entspannten Start oder wie bei uns zum Abschluss der Reise. Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos – der Gastgeber spricht Englisch und Deutsch, der Empfang vor Ort spricht ausreichend Englisch.
