We had a few lovely days in Ann-Sofies apartment. Everything was as described and by far the best accommodation we had in Zanzibar. The host is super friendly and accessible. Will highly recommend this to everyone going to Paje!

Abdulla, was a very pleasant and warm with us. He went out of his way to help solve any problems that we encountered. His place was small and cozy, but we spent most of the time on the streets. He has wonderful and warm neighbors We had a great time even when it rained. I had no problem with my stay there but it should have been longer. I will stay there next time

Hamid was great- he let us have a late checkout and there was a problem with the tv which he replaced within an hour. Recommended local places to eat and go out

Zanzilywood is good place for those looking peaceful surroundings in an isolated location. The grounds include a pool and store with all the items you need. The apartments are very spacious. If anything is missing, the hosts are quick correct the situation. Moreover, the host can arrange for your transportation both near and into Stonestown. I was satisfied with my stay.

This property, located in Stone Town, was very clean, and the market was within a 5-minute walk, and it was very close to the sea, so the location was very good. The air conditioner worked very well, so I was able to stay comfortably.

Joshua and Isca we were very happy with our stay, from the easy check in with detailed instructions (made late check-in so much easier), excursion bookings, (excellent partners/drivers), it allowed us to check out different parts of the island in our short stay and meet some very nice people along the way. We stayed for a month. The place is nice and clean, situated in the village. The local guy, Saidi, who is always at the property is very helpful and kind.

Good communication. Resolved all issues with agreeable solutions, so I only have positive points to note. It is a decent property, close to the beach. What you see is what you get. All good.

very hard to find. the best is if you put feza school in to google maps. the apartment is around the corner. otherwise the apartment is very nice and clean. we also loved the pool. hope to come back one day

We stayed for 5 weeks (!) at Culture & Alessandra's place and we absolutely LOVED it. Although we booked another apartment, we were really happy with the one we got. The location is phenomenal, as it is literally less than 2 minutes walking to the beach. Yet it feels very private because the house is on a dead-end street. The apartment is simple, but fully equipped. We felt right at home. Alessandra is truly the very best and sweetest host you could wish for. She helped us a lot with renting a motorcycle, making restaurant reservations and even took us to the hospital when (unfortunately) needed. Their dog Bantu often walked with us to the beach or came to lay with us on the porch, so cozy! We did have some problems with the AC - we couldn't get the room cooler than 26 degrees and it often failed because of power cuts (a general electricity problem in Zanzibar). Funny enough, 5 weeks still felt too short, so we hope to come back and then we will definitely stay here again.

The best place i would recommend.. Its the peaceful heaven i would have say... Mr.Boris... my man... he is always there for you... Olga is super friendly couldn't see her directly... but she helped me a lot though immediate response over the chat. The place is the best for the price and consist of 2 pools.

Our stay in Paje was unforgettable. Just a 7-minute walk from the beach, the home offered peace and convenience. Airport pick-up and drop-off were smooth, and every morning began with a hearty breakfast of fresh fruit, fish, milk, eggs, nuts, and sourdough. Judith, our host, was fantastic—communication was easy, and she kindly recommended a nearby hospital when our daughter fell ill. The Balinese-inspired interiors were calming and beautiful, adding a special touch to our stay. Our daughters adored the bathtub and wouldn’t stop talking about it on the way home! The bedding was pure luxury, with pillows so soft you could melt in them. My wife and I spent peaceful afternoons by the pool, truly relaxed. This place was a dream, and we’ll definitely be back!
