I rented it for an early summer vacation, but it was not a high season, so I had a very quiet and relaxing time. We'd love to stay at this owner's house again if we get the chance. It was a stay that exceeded my expectations.Staying with four people, the amenities and location are designed for detailed use.It was the best stay with a dog in Karuizawa.I heard the sound of a large truck occasionally along Route 18, but I slept well. The air conditioning is centralized and gentle with temperature control, the door is quietly closed, and the writing is just right, but the video room and dog run were full of Karuizawa's vacation. I saw a lot of other stays at the same time, but the accommodation fee should have been quite reasonable. It is also a place where you will feel like you will be taken care of when you stay in Karuizawa.

I hadn't had a family trip in a long time, and I stayed.The description was easy to understand and serviceable.We were healed by the greenery in front of us again, and we had a very good time.

It was spacious and very quiet surrounded by greenery. It was within a 10-minute drive to the old Karuizawa, so it was a very convenient location and privacy. This time, I used it for 5 people, but there were 2 toilets, and there were 4 bedrooms, so it was a spacious house where you could sleep calmly while sharing the space with friends.

Check in is unusual in person. It is an inn in a villa gathering resort, so the road to the inn is complicated.At first, I meet the lead at the resort entrance and move to the inn. The inn was very well designed, and in the morning, I could see beautiful autumn leaves from the large windows. I visited in the first week of November, but the floor heating was pleasant at night because it was cold outside! There were no condiments, and I bought it myself, but there were cooking utensils, three IHs, and a range oven, and I was able to cook comfortably.🍳

Much nice place and host is much friendly and helpful, bathroom feel much nice and comfortable, hv enough space for bathing; for kitchen area, space is enough but little dirt on the walls which think cannot be removed, but still okay and acceptable. Will recommend my friends stay here but much better need to self driving .

The building itself also had a new impression and was very clean.There are 6 cottages of the same type on the same premises, but there were no guests in the other cottages on the days we stayed, so it was a very quiet and calm environment. I stayed with my baby, and it was helpful to have a trash can for diapers and a crib (the type that is not recommended for use after standing up).The bedroom also has a blackout roller screen installed on the window, so you can sleep comfortably. Also, thanks to the pet seat, toilet tray, bowl, deodorizing spray, etc. for my dog, I was able to pack less. I would also like to stay there when I visit Karuizawa and Miyota. We would be grateful if the following points could be improved: Wi-Fi speed: The speed was too slow for remote work and online meetings.Even when playing Netflix, the video tends to stop. Preparation of microwaveable dishes: I felt inconvenienced when warming up side dishes and milk because all the dishes were not microwaveable.

From December 30, 2024, to New Year's Day, 2 nights, I arrived in the evening when I used it with a family of four and one dog, and after shopping in Karuizawa, I started to get cold, but the inside of the house was warm and I felt hospitality when I arrived. The room and amenities were satisfactory, such as a large living room, a projector (which is red and white, and you can enjoy Switch games if you connect it with your own equipment), a kitchen with plenty of cooking, a heated bath, and a washing machine. The bedroom was also quiet, warm, and I rested comfortably in a peaceful environment without sound. If you like to cook your own food like we do, it would be better to bring a frying pan with you. Also, if you have a good bluetooth speaker, the atmosphere is great.Anyway, it is recommended for those who want to relax while you are here. We would like to use it again.

I visited with very high expectations after seeing the photos. While there are many better facilities in the photos, this one was far better than the local facilities. The openness of the facility, the atmosphere of being in a quiet forest, and the quality of the sauna were all great experiences. The living room is all windows. Even when I was working in the kitchen, I was able to cook surrounded by the greenery of the forest, which was a bit different from the stressful housework of everyday life. All the appliances were Balmuda, and the dishes were hand-baked, which raised the tension. The floor heating alone was warm enough, but I was excited to use the wood stove, so I lit the fire. It was really great to drink slowly while watching the flames flicker indoors. And the main thing is the sauna. I was hoping to set it up quietly in the woods. It may be a contradiction to the concept of quiet, but the speakers in the sauna are great. I made a new discovery that having sound makes a sauna even more active. The water bath, which may be a single bath, is very mild. I don't think it's tap water. The wind I felt in the well-kept space… I became one with the universe… it was moving. Also, I was very impressed that an iron and ironing board were provided! This is very nice for women. The hair dryer was also a Dyson, and I thought I'd like to live like this lol. I felt the attention to detail, and it was a relaxing and stylish space. It was too good to stay just one night. The cool autumn air was also comfortable, and I imagine that the winter snow and summer vacation would also have a different taste, and I sincerely want to revisit this rare facility throughout the year. I was able to spend a pleasant holiday in the forest. It was raining quite heavily, but there was a tarp tent and we were able to enjoy the BBQ.

The house was beautiful - we loved the design and the wonderful homely touches. Everything was very thoughtfully curated from the charcoal BBQ to the fairy lights welcoming us on arrival. Everything was spotless and we really appreciated that the house was dog friendly and our pup had a lovely time playing outside. Tsumagoi itself is quiet so one must be prepared to be a bit removed and to simply enjoy all the glorious nature. It was a good option to explore Karuizawa and Kusatsu onsen for anyone who’s willing to drive some stunning country roads.
