There is also a grocery store and old historical buildings such as a 400-year-old church, a local history museum with food service and the possibility of fishing trips along the Torne River and other tourist activities such as sled dog rides, snowmobile rides

Nurmajärvi Fiskecamp by the lake

Here you rent the cabins on a fishing camp in Lapland. The large cottage, sauna and barbecue cabin are located right by the beach. The small cabin is a little bit into the forest. Wood-fired sauna and barbecue hut are included in the rental rate. Fishing license to the lake is purchased on site. Close to the Kalix River for those who also want to fish in the river. Simple standard with no electricity. Gas fired fridge available. Outhouse. You pick up water for dishes and sauna baths from the lake. We will bring drinking water on a can. Road to the cabin during bareland time.

Small cabin by the river

Accommodation right next to the river. You live in a guesthouse of a total of 18 square meters including bathroom. In all seasons, just sit on the bridge and enjoy nature. Max 2 persons, also children count as persons. The residence is not adapted to more why it is important to respect this limit. No pets allowed to be brought along. You can easily get to the property by car both summer and winter. Rental car should be booked well in advance as there are a lot of people during the season.

Luxury riverside cottage

Exclusive cottage located 8 km southeast of Jukkasjärvi/Icehotell at the stand of Torne river with south facing position. Car traffic is almost non-existent, only a few private cottages nearby with private road / dead ends. The cottage is 90 sqm with 40 sqm loft and equipped for 6 people. There are 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each and a double bed on the loft, kitchen, living room, bathroom with shower and WC. (Blinding curtains in the two bedrooms, not on the loft)

Our beautiful house is located at the Thorne river, 800m from ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi and 17km from Kiruna. The room is located uppstairs in our house and have a fantasic view. If there is northen lights you can see it from your window or from the yard. You can easily get to us from the airport or train station. There is a small supermarket in the village.

this cottage has four large windows in the ceiling so you do not miss if the northern lights dance in the sky. the cottage is located near the river there are open views to the north. You also get the chance to clean your self in sauna. you have a fridge and a microwave inside. it is located 15 kilometers from kiruna and 1,6 kilometers from icehotel
