Family-friendly holiday rentals in Kinn

With its location and facilities, the house is perfect for a perfect Norwegian holiday. We used it for a fishing vacation and it was a great choice. Boats, pier, fish cleaning area, storage, and especially excellent fishing spots available early in any weather within minutes. The owner was helpful, always quick to respond and recommended us great places for fishing. Plus, he's still investing in his facility, like a new high-pressure hot water gun to clean equipment and boats, a new jacuzzi. Looking forward to another year.

We had a great stay. Idar was very helpful and easy to reach when there were problems with the hot tub that could then be resolved.

Beautiful. 🤩 Perfectly clean - such a clean space is rarely seen. Everything you need for a short or longer stay is there. Very private and peaceful setting. Friendly landlord who provided great information in advance. 😊 Absolutely recommended.

Highly recommend Ole's house. We were there for fishing and found the best place in the world. Everything is available. You can rent a boat, there is a exception house, a super great fishing area and the host gave us valuable tips on where the fish bite particularly well. In addition, we refilled the pool twice with sea water and got the wood for heating! Ola, the host once took us on a tour with his speedboat and regularly came by to see the right. He is very helpful. If you want to experience a great fishing holiday in Norway, book it. The fjord is free from April to October. In wintertime, the fjord can freeze. We stayed in March. A few mornings we broke through the ice by boat. That was no problem.

This is an adventurous stay in nature, so be prepared for an awesome stay! Upon arrival, the family greeted us and after packing our backpacks we were personally escorted up the mountain. The walk was exhausting with heavy baggage but totally worth it for the complete privacy up there. Only noises are birds, waterfalls and once in a while a plane or an avalanche from beyond the valley. We got some fresh water for cooking from nearby streams and enough firewood that lasted us our whole overnight stay. The hikes from the cabin offer breathtaking views. The hosts are very responsive and helpful via chat. We definitely want to come back for longer :)

Unique maritime atmosphere with interesting history and very nice location. Pleasant hospitality.

Authentic old fish farm with 5 well insulated and warm units. No heating in the common areas, but beautiful and undisturbed outdoor areas! Possibility of renting a boat with fishing equipment, many good fishing opportunities. Great beaches and hiking nearby, and good facilities in Kalvåg 5 km away.

We (with two boys 13, 16) had a wonderful week. Beaches of Refvik or Hoddevik (white beaches, blue water :) in about 1 h 20), Sunnmørsalpen (1.5 h) or just the mountain lakes in the immediate vicinity with magnificent views over the coastal mountains (in 10 min you are in the fjell above the house or 30 min to the brandal) - a highlight is possible every day. The beach right by the house is fine sand and the water as clear as it can be. The boat is robust and works perfectly. We are inexperienced anglers, had great fish (Pollack). But driving around by boat alone is wonderful. The house (very clean, loving details) has everything you need, it is a small, loving pearl. The upper floor is a pearl especially for children + teenagers - with TV, private couch and two small SZ with a bed. Our landlord said "it's not a luxury here" - we felt it different! Those who appreciate the important things have luxury there.

Evrything is ok.Recomendation

We stayed in Sandvika for 3 weeks in August 2022. The house is very cozy and we (my husband and I, our 16 year old son and our dog) felt very at home. In the house you will find everything you need. The location & views are amazing. Although we had really bad weather of 20 days 17 days, we enjoyed the holiday. If you are not afraid of altitude, you can cycle very well. The bay in front of the house invites you to sup and kayak. And even though the water was only 12 degrees this year, we were in the sea with the neopren - if only for a short time. There is a magnificent sandy beach that runs very flat into the sea. We made great trips to Geiranger FJord, to Maloy to the Kannestein, Hoddevik and Ervik (great beaches) and to the Westkapp. We even saw porpoises swimming in the bay from the house. If you are looking for peace and relaxation and get along with bad weather, this is the place to be.

We were really happy to stay in the house where we felt welcome and relaxed. You feel the love for the house and the house's IT. We enjoyed that there were two outdoor patios that allowed for seating to find the perfect spot to suit the weather. We slept well and had what we needed to cook. The house was very clean. We rented Håkon's boat, and it was really nice to sail and see the landscape from the water.

Great place to stay if you're in the area!

Great place by the sea but also close to Nordfjord/beautiful west Norway fjord area. Tiny village (just a few houses) at the end of the bay, feels like at the end of the world:) House is very nice inside, equiped with everything you might need. There is own boat with a motor too. We went for the sea-fishing with that boat and caught a lot of big fish, some as long as 70cm. We also caught numbers of crabs into crab-pits that are to be found in one of the boathouses. So even without visiting the store we had plenty of things to eat in Berle:) You can also take a mountain walk to Hornelen, the highest cliff in Europe directly from the house. We did it (quite challenging walk, especially for our 12th year old daughter), and the view was amazing. Overall - if you feel like experiencing Scandinavian vacation - this is definitely a great place to do so.

Modern and nice apartment centrally located in Kalvåg. Walking distance to the city center. Pleasant hostess. Great communication and easy check in. Nice and quiet location. Everything was as it appeared in the advertisement.

My parents came to visit me here and stayed at Idas place they very much enjoyed the lovely apartment. it was clean had everything they needed and a great view. great access to hiking trails and shirt walk or drive into Eikefjord sentrum.

A great stay in a beautiful place. Hosting was friendly, present if needed, nice and locals. Quiet and calm atmosphere, surrounded by beautiful nature. Hiking and fishing opportunities just outside the door. We highly recommend this.

Awesome stay with awesome host

We were at this place for the second time and again it was wonderful. The space, the silence, the view....great. This time we had better weather so we also went for a swim practically every day.
