Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kingsbridge Estuary

Fantastic accommodation for families. A great surprise with the additional 2 toilets as well as the. Bathroom, which was great for the 6 of us. Easy check in, great instructions sent in advance for checking in and checking out. Very friendly host. Accommodation is spacious, all rooms good sizes. Lovely comfortable beds and bedding was excellent quality. Kitchen very well equipped with all you need, which was great. So we could easily cook if we wanted to. Location is great, parking space very handy and easy to find parking spaces nearby for any additional cars. Peaceful location. All the sofas were very comfortable and plenty of room for everyone to sit. Would definitely book again if looking in Kingsbridge for family size accommodation.

My fiancé and I visited for 2 nights and found the accommodation brilliant, the host informative and friendly and the surrounding scenery is amazing. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Thank you Andrew and Wendy!

We enjoyed a perfect stay on the farm in the most beautiful location . Views of rolling hills and down to the river. The property is perfect with a very comfortable lounge and kitchen and very large stunning bedroom and bathroom . We were welcomed by Meg the dog who was really friendly with us and our dog and Susie made us feel at home straight away to the farm and throughout our stay. The farm is lovely for walks currently with calves, cows and Elvis the bull to say hello to and our dog Bodie loved having the fields to run around and we enjoyed our morning coffee sitting outside. This area is just stunning particularly for beaches Salcombe has several sandy beaches as does Bigbury and Burgh Island We enjoyed lunch at Journeys End pub followed by a walk down to Ayrmer cove and dinner in The Oyster Shack. Thankyou Susie we look forward to visiting again .

Roberts's house exceeded our expectations. Bright and welcoming, spotlessly clean, it had loads of space. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery and utensils and even included a bean to cup coffee machine! The location was quiet and a short but hilly walk to the centre of Salcombe. The beds were super comfortable, a great blessing after our active days. In all I have no hesitation in recommending this property

The best air bnb to date! I wrote in the visitor book that it’s a little slice of heaven and I really meant it. Andy… what a great guy!! Perfectly clean, cosy, everything you need in the place and plenty of stuff in the local area. We will be back to this place in the future and wish Andy and his family all the best 😊

We had a great week down in Salcombe at David’s place. From the welcome pack down to communication on the day and throughout our stay we couldn’t have asked for more. Salcombe itself is beautiful with plenty to do. We took the dog and our paddleboards and had a great week. We will be back. Thanks

We really enjoyed our stay, the house is spotless and nicely decorated. The house is at the top of the hill which isn't for the faint hearted, but Salcombe is very hilly so you'll likely have this is most places. Personally I think the uphill walk back is worth it for the house, off road parking (worth its weight in gold), the views and Heidi as a host. Heidi is very responsive and helpful, I couldn't ask for more.

Had a lovely weekend at Lisa’s place - absolutely stunning views to wake up to. A fantastic base for exploring Salcombe and the surrounding area.

Mike's place was an absolute dream for our pre-baby, relaxing getaway with our Whippet! It completely exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, right on the SW coast path yet feeling wonderfully secluded, while still being just a quick 5-minute drive to Lyme Regis. Although the listing mentioned the garden wasn't fully secure, we found it to be very secure for our Whippet which was an added bonus. There are also several gates to pass through on the way from the parking area, adding to the security. Our dog lovedddd running about with a frisbee and then sunbathing ha! We honestly loved the property so much (especially the pool!) that we barely left, only venturing out for morning coffee and breakfast. Mike's recommendations were spot on – Poco Pizza was fantastic for takeaway, and communication was excellent throughout. We'll be hard-pressed to find another Airbnb that compares and look forward to coming back with our baby. Thank you!

we had a fantastic stay here, the signal box was gorgeous and well equipped with everything you need and more! Nice touches of shampoos and shower gels incase we'd forgotten, a bottle of fizz and a jug of milk in the fridge also! We found the property to be clean and welcoming and hot tub was excellent and clean. we thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous pet sheep that came to see us everyday 😍 The view from the property is amazing and the sunrise was to die for! we had dinner at The springer Spaniel one evening, lovely food and great cocktails!! we would easily recommend this gorgeous place and jacqui is a lovely welcoming helpful host! we hope to be back soon! The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

Absolutely stunning place. Louise was the perfect host answering every question I asked. The pool was a great hit with us adults and of course the children. The farm tour was lovely and Louise was very understanding when my little boy had a nose bleed whilst feeding the calves. I would highly recommend a stay at The Grange!

The mobile home is comfortable and well equipped, sited in a prime location with lovely sea views. The caravan site is well maintained with good facilities and in an ideal location to access the coast path and rocky cove below. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and fully recommend.

Danny’s home is in an ideal, rural location, set back on an expansive lawn overlooking the sea on one side, hills with grazing sheep on another, and just beyond an amazing view of Plymouth. Beautiful! Directly across the street and down a short path is The Cliff Top Cafe, a great place to get a bite to eat and take in the amazing view. The home is very comfortable and clean and has everything needed to enjoy a peaceful getaway. To me, the best part of the experience was definitely the location. It absolutely does not disappoint. Views, views, views and soft sounds of sheep calling out from the hillside. Very special. Thank you Danny. We will never forget our first stay in the UK.

It was a privilege to stay in this beautiful family home. The location was sublime, peaceful and idyllic. The quirky access was amusing and great to be so close to the Ferry Boat Inn. The house had everything you could wish for and more!

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse and Sophia was a very kind and responsive host (eg we asked if they had a blue tooth speaker we could borrow and it was brought straight round - Thankyou!). We enjoyed the large sociable kitchen space with the comforting Aga to come home to. The garden space was very peaceful and we had great fun in the games room playing table tennis, table football and pool on our first night. We also made use of the swimming pool and playing boules in the garden. The house is large and comfortable for groups and families and has a Manor House feel to it which we loved. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

We had the most incredible stay at this property. The views alone were some of the best we’ve ever experienced, with the deck overlooking the sea. The beach is a short walk down the cliff side from the property (the walk back up is a workout to say the least, especially on a boiling hot day!) and a stroll across the sand couldn’t have been more peaceful. Christian was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions. This is the perfect place to switch off, with bedrooms with great views and a spacious living room and kitchen. The only thing we’d suggest is possibly bringing your own essentials, such as milk, butter and cooking bits as local shops are about a 15 minute drive. Overall we can’t recommend this place enough, we really needed to reset after a hectic few months and we finally managed to here for which we are so grateful.

What an amazing place to stay, the property is absolutely perfect, it contains everything you need, perfect size & extremely clean, it really was home from home. The location is fantastic, with all of the key areas being so easily accessible. Emily & her family were lovely, really helpful & it was a absolute pleasure to meet them and stay within their property. Thank you so much & I hope to see you again soon!

Beautiful flat - clean and with lovely decor - overlooking the estuary. Balcony off the sitting room has table and chairs to sit outside. Next door to a great pub Crabshell Inn and only short walk into Kingsbridge. We went to Start Point and Salcombe too. Would definitely come back again, Paul, Helen, Hannah and William

A great house for a family birthday celebration . The open plan living area with huge windows was perfect . Quite a hill to walk up from town but that is true of most houses in Salcombe!! We had a wonderful few days there over New Year

We had the most wonderful long weekend celebrating a 40th birthday in this property. Stunning location and very easy to access/find. Excellent property with clean and beautifully furnished rooms. Fully equipped kitchen and lots of comfortable living and dining space. Highly recommend and would return in a heart beat.

The lodge was well-situated, with views westward over the countryside and sea. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the sun set! The kitchen/living space was well-furnished and very comfortable; the sofa and recliner chair were excellent. The kitchen was well-equipped and pleasant to work in; easy access to oven, microwave and dishwasher - though we didn't actually use it, apart from emptying it, (from previous occupants' usage?!) The double-bed was very comfortable and the bathroom/shower excellent. An excellent stay - made perfect by four days of beautiful warm mid-May weather, which allowed us to walk from the door to the coast path, west (first day) to Salcombe (with a visit to the beautiful NT Overbecks garden) and east (second day) to Hope bay (with some good eateries). There appeared to be no policy of separating refuse into compostable and recyclable waste - but that may be more to do with the site itself - but perhaps worth raising with the management?

The most relaxing stay in a beautiful apartment. Was very well equipped with the lovely addition of binoculars and games which we thoroughly enjoyed. Beds were very comfortable and the views off of the balcony were breathtaking. The shops were a 4 minute walk away which we loved. Everything was perfect and can’t wait to visit again.

It's rare to find an accommodation that so perfectly matches the beauty of its surroundings, but the barn conversion Issy and Murray have created has achieved just that! The barn is an incredible place to stay - wonderfully designed, high quality finishes and lovely little touches. It's welcoming and incredibly peaceful. It was a brilliant base to explore the area by foot and car and we were able to do a number of circular walks straight from the front door, delighting in our return to the barn with its fabulous views, soothing shower and super comfy bed. We'd highly recommend the barn to any couple looking to immerse in the nature of Dartmoor.
