Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Kiel Canal

We were allowed to spend an extended weekend in Birte's house. From the first moment, we felt very comfortable. The accommodation is very cozy and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The quiet location in the middle of the countryside is particularly beautiful - perfect for switching off and relaxing. Thanks to the direct access to the dike, you can spontaneously watch the passing ships and sheep. The sauna is also a nice bonus (costs extra, but the price is okay). All in all, a completely successful stay – we will be happy to come back!

We had a very nice time at Laura's house. The house is clean, cozy, comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, the beds are comfortable and the garden is a paradise for children and dogs. Laura is a very nice landlady who answered our questions immediately and gave us tips. The location of the house, an hour from Hamburg and an hour from Sankt Peter Ording, for example, is perfect!!! So beautiful!!!! Thank you.

We had a great time and would be happy to come back. The house is quiet and clean, we felt very comfortable. The kitchen is superbly equipped, even a milk frother and a waffle iron are available. Overall, very lovingly decorated. There's nothing missing. The hostess is totally friendly and communication is quick and uncomplicated. Thank you!

It was a fantastic accommodation, no human soul there, whether dog or human we could move freely. Everything was clean and everything you need was there. We felt very comfortable. The hot tub was the absolute highlight:-))) Will definitely be back

The house is very tidy and clean, the lake view just at sunset is beautiful and everything you need is there. The kitchen equipment is very good, rarely experienced so well in Airbnbs. Overall, the whole house is very modern. The hosts are very friendly and easy to reach. However, shopping and everything else can only be reached by car, but the entire area is very quiet. Clear recommendation!

Grandparents, children and grandchildren: everyone felt right at home. The accommodation was cozy, lovingly and fabulously equipped and there was nothing we could have missed. We had a really great time here and would recommend the accommodation anytime!

The house is exactly as described. Great location on the water with private path to the Flensburg Fjord. Beautiful hiking trail in front of the front door that leads along the water. In the house are all utensils for a nice stay. We really enjoyed the long weekend!

We were only at Katharina's for one night, but we could very well imagine a longer stay! Very nice quiet residential area, the city center is within walking distance.

We had beautiful days on Föhr and felt very comfortable in Ingke's apartment. It is quiet and cozy and above all Ingkes and Jans friendly and relaxed manner have given a warm stay. Thank you and we'll be happy to come back!

Large neat accommodation to stay overnight. Everything super clean and tidy. Very friendly welcome. Wonderful beds. We did not see the surroundings because we were in transit. But we have seen plenty of good restaurants.

We were only in this beautiful apartment, in this beautiful area, for a very short time. The accommodation was/is also great for the dog. And Gesine was/is a great hostess.

My best Airbnb experience so far! The apartment is really nicely designed and was super clean, bed linen and towels available and also fresh. The location is very quiet, but all shops and bakeries are within walking distance. We had the garden all to ourselves, it is safely fenced and super nice to relax and grill. I have a dog that is afraid and she was also able to feel safe and comfortable in the apartment. When we arrived, there were even a few chilled drinks and snacks ready, as well as a few small things and toys for the dog. Bente was always quickly reachable and very nice and helpful. We felt very comfortable and are grateful that we were able to spend such a nice time there. We would definitely come back!

We were spontaneously looking for a break in an accessible location. Somewhat surprising we found this house with beautiful views, spacious spaces and good amenities. That convinced us, because we had never heard of it. Overall, we were not disappointed. It was mostly sunny, so we could use the balconies/beach chair. Our daughter found the smaller bedroom super cozy and was willing to get to know the dyke/banks of the Elbe. We'd love to enjoy it again. A thank you to the good care of Yvonne and her delicious crepes:-)).

We made a stopover at Judith and Torben's on the way back from Denmark. Both very helpful and friendly people. It was a very nice experience for us. In the morning after getting up, you can look directly at the cowshed and the calves. A great environment with beautiful hiking trails that we could explore with our dog. Lovers of old houses and passionate collectors spend an authentic vacation here with plenty of space or space and also many free spaces. Many personal belongings make you feel like a guest. Own mobility would be a plus because the place is very quiet. The owners are unobtrusive and yet immediately available. Everything worked out very well for us and we had a nice time. Thank you Barbara for that.

It was wonderful! Even if music was running longer in the evening, that was no problem at all. Simply beautiful. It was also asked if it was okay for us that the dogs are in the garden. You could definitely have said no.

Stefans place is great. Accommodation is very large and private and very peaceful clean and well equipped . The home has everything you need for long and short stay and it's lovely to be able to sit out in garden and relax in the evening. The property is 2 minutes drive to groceries stores and resturants and great location for anyone who does not want to be in the center of Hamburg but easy to reach in 23 minutes by car and local train and bus also available near by . Stefan is always available and very friendly and you need anything he always responds fast. I definitely recommend Stefans property and it feels like being at home away from home and really beautiful home. Thank Stefan for everything Will definitely come back again if in Hamburg.

We were expecting a spacious house in the 60s/70s style with an equally large property. All rooms and the garden are really huge, this one is also really beautiful. The house is right on the west coast clinic, walking distance to beautiful downtown. We didn't lack anything in terms of amenities. We felt like we were immersed in a strange family life and treated everything with respect.

We have enjoyed the house and surroundings very much. The house is wonderfully spacious and bright with a nice garden. The area is green and quiet, city and beach are also easy to reach. Absolutely recommended!

We had the most wonderful Ascension weekend at Vestergaard with Kirsten as host. It all went super easy. The house is very charmingly renovated and with many good rooms, where you can easily sleep many. The kitchen is well equipped and everything works as it should. Vestergaard is also very conveniently located if you have a car/bicycle with you. You are located in the middle of the island, so all edges of Ærø can be reached with short distance. Huge recommendation from here.

“It really is a castle!” was the response of the travel companions. And that's for sure! Beautiful location, clean, lovely sturdy beds and very spacious (bath) rooms. Plenty of space to sit, play games or get a breath of fresh air outside. The kitchen is equipped with a wide range of crockery so that not every person can use a piece. What I personally liked is that each room has the option to open 1 or more windows. This keeps it wonderfully fresh on slightly warmer days. In the villages nearby, there is a supermarket and a number of restaurants. Enough offer to pick up your belongings on the spot. Check-in can be done digitally at your own time. Wonderful.
