House holiday rentals in K'gari

The family had a wedding to attend at Kingfisher Bay Kgari so we booked Rishendas beach house. Everyone felt comfortable, the home was well equipped and plenty big enough for our large group. The views were amazing, the resident kookaburras visited daily. The outdoor dining area with spa and BBQ on the deck overlooking the fabulous views was Amazing. We would definitely recommend Rishendas house and would love to return again for an Island holiday.

From the Start Kayla was very friendly and responsive to my and my family’s needs before during and after our stay. The home its self was beautiful! Very clean and a stand out point for us was the comfortable beds and Pillows! I need to know where you bought these from. Thank you for opening your air bnb to us.

Our stay was stress free, we were welcomed and shown around the premises when arrived. Lindy was very nice and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. The Kichenette was all you can hope for, coffee, tea. milk and other condiments were supplied. Over all our stay was very good.

The Manor was a beautiful home and our family loved our stay there for our few nights in Bargara. The one bathroom was a small hiccup (travelling with teenagers) BUT the entire house was stunning, great layout and immaculate. Beautiful outdoor area for entertaining AND the games room/gym was awesome!!! Would highly recommend.

We stayed at this property for a special family event, and it was truly fantastic. It comfortably hosted our whole family and exceeded every expectation we had. The space was thoughtfully designed for all ages — from grandparents to kids — and everyone had a wonderful time. The facilities were exceptional, with everything we needed and more. It’s rare to find a place that balances comfort, functionality, and beauty so well. We made treasured memories here, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a stay that brings people together in the best possible way. We chose Joanne's property specifically for the location as it was close to family and we enjoyed our stay alot. The property is quirky, the views spectacular and the location peaceful. Unfortunately the weather gods were not on our side the weekend we stayed which did prove challenging, given some of the properties features. Those who stayed in the granny flat had an experience which was more like glamping. There is no way to enter the separate container, and the bathroom which is in a shed close by, without being fully exposed to the weather. Which meant dark, wet walks, across sodden grass. Whilst we were fulky aware of this setup when we booked it did impact our stay and is mentioning. The weather aside, we would definitely choose to stay again, in the hopes for finer weather. We would love to be able to fully enjoy the wonderful outdoor areas this property offers!

Amazing place to stay! Nathan is so helpful and was easy to contact. Perfect size for 3 adult couples and still felt spacious. Will definitely be staying again and can’t wait to get back there!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful property! The views of the countryside and ocean were absolutely stunning – the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The house was spotless and very well equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed for cooking meals together. It’s also incredibly family-friendly – our kids loved the games, colouring supplies, and the little toddler chairs and table. The wood-burning fireplace was a highlight, creating such a cosy atmosphere in the evenings – perfect for the winter weather. The large lawn was a huge bonus, giving our children and dog plenty of space to run and play safely. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking to unwind in a peaceful, scenic setting!

Michael's house was amazing. It had so many amenities and it was perfect for our large group. The back of the home had a short path to the beautiful beach at Toogoom. The area was perfect for a quiet getaway for the family. The house was neat, clean and tidy. Everything we needed for a short stay was provided for us.

Our whole family stayed at Sandstone and it accommodated us very well. We had 12 guests in total. The two fridges were great as with that amount of people, I really needed the space! We spent most of our time when we were at the house outside on the verandah/BBQ area. This was a great spot to spend our time socialising with everyone.

Rebecca was more than helpful. The house showcased a classic queenslander style. The balcony provided uninterrupted views of the ocean and pier, great sunrises and sunsets. The home was clean and comfortable. All the amenities were good, 2 TV's, coffee machine, dishwasher etc. We enjoyed our stay very much taking in all the things Hervey Bay has to offer. Beautiful spacious, clean home. Very friendly street of neighbours located in a spot where everything is within walking distance. With all the space in this home, it still felt super cosy at the same time to want to spend a good day indoors. Very happy with the stay of this place and the hosts are very communicative.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Marilyn's house before our trip to K'gari and wished we could have stayed longer! The house is beautiful and spacious. It’s a relaxing retreat with high-quality furnishings that make it feel like home. As a bonus, we even spotted kangaroos on the street right in front of the house! Highly recommend staying here.

Pam and Bill were wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. Perfect quiet little spot for a few days break on a long road trip! Directly across from the beach, walking distance to restaurants etc. We had a lovely stay, thanks again!

Our stay at the tiny away home was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The gorgeous views took our breath away. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and great local tips. The facilities were top-notch, everything was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and fully equipped for comfort. The tiny homes are thoughtfully spaced, close enough to foster a sense of community, yet far enough apart to ensure privacy and relaxation. The check-in process was super easy and smooth, which made arriving stress-free and relaxing. This tiny home had everything we could’ve hoped for and more, we can’t wait to come back!
