Holiday rentals with a kayak in Keweenaw County

Nathan was a kind host and made sure we had everything we needed. It was the perfect place for our family snowmobiling trip. More room than it appears in pictures. Awesome coffee bar. Plenty of parking and close to main trails. We booked for next year already!

We had a good stay. There weren't any problems.

We had such a good time staying at Kara’s place! There was plenty of room for family as they came and went and all were please with the great Wi-Fi. We appreciated having a main floor bedroom for our 97 year old friend. And our 8 year old granddaughter enjoyed exploring everything (and making towers of the magnatiles!) We were greeted with a basket of goodies in addition to the variety of coffees and teas we had to choose from. We cooked almost every night of our 11 day stay and had just about everything we could possibly need. The kayaks and sauna were used and we had s’mores at the fire pit. The location worked well for us. We were prepared with plenty of food and gas, knowing that it was a ways to both. We explored many beaches along Lake Superior - our primary goal! The beach right in back of the house was the cherry on top! Great place, great hosts!

Our family loved this place. We came up for a quick weekend trip with no real plans and fell in love with this place. It was in a great location to see many different sights. The views at the house alone are amazing. The beds are so comfortable and my kids loved being able to have bunks to themselves and full beds. It was a great place to hangout at night after adventuring all day. We hope to plan a future trip.

Sherry’s place was clean, comfortable and spacious. We will be back to stay again. I would recommend.

We stayed for a ski/birthday weekend and it was perfect. Sherry was great offering suggestions on dining and weekend happenings. Watching the deer in the morning was a highlight. The nearby cottages were close but still felt secluded. We hope to return!

We loved the quiet, private atmosphere of this home. The views of Lake Superior were pretty and right outside the front window. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate for us to use the kayaks and bikes included with the home, but we did use the sauna and Jacuzzi tub. Note there was not a lot of restaurants or grocery stores close, so plan ahead. I would definitely stay there again!

Our family stayed at this lake home the weekend of my son’s graduation at MTU. The lake home is absolutely beautiful with stunning lake views and a walkable beach. This home had everything we needed and loved the layout of the home. Everyone had the best night sleep on the most comfortable beds. We just loved everything about this home! I highly recommend staying here! All questions were responded to very quickly and informative. Our family had such a great stay nobody wanted to leave.

Awesome place! Great blend of indoor and outdoor spaces for the family to gather. Steps from the beach, perfect for rock hunting day or night. Just a few minute drive from the town of Calumet. I would definitely stay here on my next trip to the U.P.

Barry and Carol are incredible hosts. The place is exactly what my dad and I needed for our yearly trip to the UP. We got a flat tire and Barry and Carol were beyond helpful. I thought it was going to ruin our trip but turned into a 30 min drive with a spare, and one of the best Pasties I’ve had which was a win. Thanks again.

Carol's place had everything we needed for a great trip to the Keweenaw. Check in was easy and the place was clean.

Great place to stay if you're not looking for a touristy town. Eagle Harbor is very peaceful and not a lot going on. Places to eat are about 30 minutes away, but the car ride is very beautiful so it's a great experience. The cottage is small, but serves as a good home base. We only made breakfast there and slept. Other meals were packed beforehand and eaten as a picnic. This is a good place to stay if you're looking for a good weekend getaway.

The copper coast loft had everything and more for a very enjoyable weekend getaway. The host took the time to provide all the little things that you wouldn’t think to pack. Communication could not have been any better which is so crucial heading to a place mostly out of cell service.

Our group had a wonderful stay here! It was a great way to disconnect from the bustle of daily life. The lake was so peaceful and we loved playing games by lantern light in the greateoom. Rebecca was super helpful with explaining the how-tos of off grid living and it was super easy to enjoy our stay. We will definitely be coming back again in the future!

Words cannot describe this amazing place and quite honestly, pictures don't do it justice... additionally David and Colleen were beyond amazing hosts and offered helpful information and recommendations to ensure we had the best stay possible. The Cabin looks as though it has materialized from a fantasy book, yet it feels like home...! The memories of our stay will be with us forever. This beautiful cabin is filled with love for nature and it seamlessly blends with the awe-strucking unspoiled beauty of the land outside; from the calmness of the lake, the warmth of the sun clashing with the cool breeze from the west, the animals, the trees, the silence... everything a humble reminder of where we belong... Lovely large place right on the lake w/ great views. Four bathrooms, four bedrooms, lots of bunks. Two large beds. Big kitchen. Big TV. Close to Mt. Bohemia for skiing abd hot tub sauna, and closer still to Calumet for the Nordic ski race - the great bear chase. Good times!

We enjoyed our stay. The view from the cabin was so beautiful. It was so cozy for visiting, playing cards, and sleeping. We spent the day at Mount Bohemia skiing, snowboarding, and taking a sauna. Hoping to book another trip north again.

Fabulous stay!! Beautiful, private location with LOTS of outside space to use for playing or just hanging out. Fully stocked cabin - comfortable and well set up for cooking yourself! Host is very gracious, responsive and helpful, but not intrusive! We will definitely be back and will bring others with us to share the fun!
