Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Keratokampos

Pasiphae House was something out of a dream! It was beautifully designed in the traditional Crete Village homes style. The location is isolate in the mountains, but amongst a great community of people. We were greeted by Yianna and Koula that gave us the walk through of the house, and we're always in constant communication. Ioanna supplied us with a long list of things to do and try in the area which we took full advantage of. Overall it was a beautiful stay and would highly recommend.

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

Das Haus ist sehr ruhig in einem Dorf in dem man ( Anfang Juni) kein Massentourismus hat, der Strand ist allerdings klein. Die Leute in den Restaurants und Geschäften sind sehr freundlich und das Essen hier (wir haben drei Restaurants ausprobiert) war überall sehr gut. Michalis hat uns den Weg zum Haus sehr gut beschrieben. Es war alles gepflegt und Michalis hatte uns für den Empfang eine süße Köstlichkeit und Wasser bereitgestellt. Wir würden die Unterkunft sofort wieder buchen.

Liebe Maria, Bei Dir zu wohnen war ein ersehntes Heimkehren in Schönheit, Privatsphäre (auch im Freien dank der großen Terrasse und der Dorfendlage), Stille, Sauberkeit und Raum. Monastiraki und speziell Dein Haus sind eine Perle im rauen Osten Kretas. Was für ein Gefühl mit dieser Aussicht aufzuwachen, zu frühstücken etc. Deine Großzügigkeit hat uns sehr berührt, die Umsorgung mit Gemüse aus dem Garten Deiner Mutter und weiterer kulinarischer Geschenke hat uns begeistert. Wir wünschen Dir das Beste und sagen vielen lieben Dank und bis zum nächste Mal.

This place completely exceeded our expectations! It’s absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking, priceless view that made our stay unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and accommodated. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

compleet huis met alles er in wat nodig is, te veel zelfs als je bedenkt wat er allemaal bij zat (fruit kruiden, olie, jam, boter,...) je kon er zo in,. en dan het dorpje met aardige, behulpzame mensen, auto is wel een vereiste, anders kom je nergens.

En George i la Nicoleta són una familia encantadora i molt acollidora que ens han fet sentir com a casa i ens han ofert mil detalls per fer-nos tastar productes típics de la seva terra elaborats per ells mateixos. Les vistes són espectaculars i la casa té tots els detalls molt ben cuidats. També tenen jocs de taula i joguines per nens. Altament recomanable!! Gràcies per aquest tracte tan personal.

Poppy was amazing. So helpful, flexible and very friendly. The apartment is wonderful. Beautiful views and great location for the town and the beach. My husband and I spent a lovely week at Asteri Home. The house was exactly as expected and just what we wanted for our week in Crete. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to make breakfasts and a some dinners at home. The main double bedroom was big enough and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit dark and the shower is quite small, but we made do. The most amazing part of the house is the huge garden overlooking the sea that has 4 sun loungers, 2 outdoor tables for dining, a BBQ and a dart board. We spent a lot of time sitting at the end of the garden enjoying the view. Véronique and Yiannis are amazing hosts. They were so helpful right from the start - arranging transport from the airport, a rental car, offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Kokkini Hani is quieter than other more touristy parts of Crete we visited. We found wonderful Greek restaurants with fresh seafood everyday. The supermarket and shops are all in walking distance. A lovely place!

Dieses Appartement hat eine bezaubernde Lage zu Agios Nicolaos. So einen Ausblick am Morgen zum Frühstück und am Abend mit einem Wein, der dir von deinem sehr freundlichem Gastgeber als Geschenk beschert wurde, von der atemberaubenden Terasse zu genießen, war für uns ein großes Geschenk. Wir sind schon in vielen Airbnb Appartements zu Gast gewesen, doch Eirinis Wohnung war für uns etwas Besonderes. Die absolute Sauberkeit und die sehr gut ausgestattete Küche hat uns beeindruckt. Da wir auch gerne selber Speisen zubereiten, war es schön zu sehen, dass hierfür fast alles zur Verfügung stand. Schon beim ersten schriftlichen Kontakt und der herzlichen, persönlichen Übergabe der Wohnung erlebten wir die griechiche Gastfreundschaft und wußten auch das Begrüßungspaket in Form von Obst, Wein und diversen anderen netten Dingen sehr zu schätzen. Wir bedanken uns für eine wunderbare Zeit und werden bei unserem nächsten Kreta-Besuch bestimmt wiederkommen.

Die Wohnung war sehr schön mit einem spektakulären Ausblick. Es war alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Und die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und immer erreichbar.

Super Kontakt mit Irini. Wir bekamen kurzfristig Bescheid, daß wir früher einchecken konnten. Wir hatten eine persönliche Schlüsselübergabe. Irina hat uns alles gezeigt, selbst für das 1. Frühstück war der Kühlschrank gefüllt. Trotz der sehr zentralen Lage, viel ruhiger als erwartet, keinerlei Lärmbelästigung. Zu Bedenken ist bei Anreise mit eigenem PKW die angespannte Parksituation und bei schweren Gepäck, das enge Treppenhaus bis in die 2. Etage. Der Ausblick entschädigt aber für alle Mühe. Wir würden wiederkommen.

It was my second time at Manolis’ place and I love it. It’s one of most magic places I know on this planet and Manoils and his parents are always very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is very well equipped and the apartment very cosy and bright. Especially in autumn I like this area and the balcony because it’s very calm and relaxed - you are very near the ocean. Like last time Manolis mum prepared some dinner for me and the fridge was full of food ❤️. Unfortunately there was some strong wind during my 4 weeks there and so I had some power outages and wifi / fon connection outages. Manolis did his very best and was very helpful to get it fixed as soon as possible.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dieser gemütlichen Wohnung. Die weite Aussicht von der Terrasse ist wunderbar und ein Strand ist fussläufig zu erreichen. Es gibt mehrere Strände in der Nähe. Die Wohnung ist sehr komfortabel und geräumig.

A beautiful apartment from beautiful people who shared delicious gift on our arrival, the apartment itself gives a constant view of the sea and contains everything you need to feel at home, the beach in this quiet town is just steps away, as well as the pubs that are open in the warmer months. Great quiet town to just relax and enjoy the surroundings. Great value for money, would definitely return.

Had a 2 week stay at Villa Heliopetra. The villa was absolutely beautiful, very private with amazing views. Within easy walk to a couple of good tavernas (about 10 min but there is a steep driveway back up to the villa) and an easy and scenic walk along the seafront (about 20min) to Elounda which has lots of options for tavernas, bars and shops. The villa had efficient air conditioning, a well equipped kitchen and a cosy area with the option of a real fire in an impressive fireplace. We paid to have the large hot tub heated in the first week as the weather was unusually chilly, but used it unheated to cool down when the temperatures rose. We found it to be a great addition. The outstanding feature was the fabulous view of the bay from Spinalonga island round to Elounda, absolutely breathtaking! We had a problem with slow Wifi during our stay but Giorgos sorted it very quickly. He was a brilliant host and very responsive to any questions. We would love to come back to stay again soon.

Top Unterkunft in extrem ruhiger Lage. Man hört die Vögel zwitschern und keinen lästigen Lärm. An den Strassen im direkteren Umkreis ist sehr wenig los. Der Pool ist recht groß und stets erfrischend (Anfang Juni ca. 22-24 Grad). Die Pool-Area hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Aussicht ist top und unverbaut! Eine abolute Empfehlung unsererseits für Leute die Ruhe wünschen!!

Es gibt Aussichten, die mehr sagen als tausend Gespräche – und diese hier spricht in stiller Poesie. Vom Haus aus breitet sich die Küstenlinie aus wie ein gemalter Gedanke, mit kleinen Eilanden, die im Licht treiben wie Träume im Halbschlaf. Morgens liegt die See da wie ein Spiegel der Ruhe, abends glitzert sie, als hätte jemand Sterne darin versenkt. Das Haus selbst ist ein stiller Diener: modern, zweckmäßig, geschmackvoll – ein Ort, an dem alles da ist, wo es hingehört. Man lebt hier nicht gegen die Zeit, sondern mit ihr. Wer je dort stand und schwieg, weiß: Das war genug.

Highly recommend Jan’s gorgeous home. We witnessed some of our favorite sunsets here and the house itself is just a beauty. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen to cook up a great meal. It was also such a great location to a lot of areas we wanted to visit. Jan gave us a lot of recommendations and we ended up going to a few of the restaurants Jan sent us to! If you’re looking for a beautiful, private airbnb that is situated in a central place near all the beaches you’d likely go to, this is your spot!

The house is located in a peaceful rural area, away from tourist crowds and big cities. Perfect for those seeking tranquility, but a car is essential. We stayed for three weeks and loved the architecture and outdoor space. The house is fully equipped, and the kitchen is spacious with many utensils. The air conditioning is rarely needed due to mosquito screens on all windows. Cleanliness was excellent, with well-maintained beds and bathrooms. Laundry facilities are available. The terrace and modern pool area are highlights, especially with the pool lit at night. The garden, full of fruit trees and Cretan herbs, adds charm. Manos and his father were wonderful hosts, surprising us with fresh fruit baskets and offering helpful tips on restaurants and excursions. Cat lovers will enjoy the three friendly cats that visit. The area can be noisy with chickens and dogs, but this didn’t bother us. We leave with fond memories of a place we’d love to visit again.

Τι λογια να βρουμε γι αυτο το εξαιρετικο σπιτι, πεντακαθαρο, αρτια εξοπλισμενο, επιπλωμενο με γουστο, με ανεμποδιστη θεα προς τη θαλασσα και τα βουνα του Λασιθιου. Ο Αποστολης αψογος οικοδεσποτης,φιλικοτατος , ευγενεστατος και παντα στη διαθεση να μας εξυπηρετησει.Του ευχομαστε να ειναι καλα κι αυτος κι η οικογενεια του και να χαιρονται το σπιτι τους . Wir hatten einen extrem schönen Aufenthalt in der Villa. Der Pool und die Aussicht sind einfach atemberaubend. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und es gibt viel Platz zum entspannen. Alles war sehr sauber und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Vielen Dank für alles Stavros. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir haben uns von Beginn an sehr wohl in der Villa von Konstantinos gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und auch sonst war alles tiptop, so dass wir Konstantinos nicht einmal kontaktieren mussten. Ankunft, Schlüsselübergabe etc. verlief vollkommen problemlos. Die Unterkunft liegt am Rande des kleinen Dorfes Anatoli, wo es sehr ruhig ist und man viel Privatsphäre hat. Es gibt es 2 kleine Tavernen im Dorf, die einen Besuch wert sind. Hier ist man noch abseits vom großen Tourismus. Wer hier herkommt sollte auf jeden Fall tierfreundlich sein. Um die Villa herum gibt es einige Straßenkatzen, die dankbar sind, wenn man sich ihrer annimmt. Jedoch muss man sich vorher gut überlegen, ob man die Katzen füttert. Wir haben unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen und können uns vorstellen wieder hier her zu kommen.
