Family-friendly holiday rentals in Kavala Prefecture

Jenny is not only a super host but a wonderful, kind, helpful person. We traveled with 3 more families (in total we were 8 adults and 5 kids) and we had everything we needed. Jenny’s place located in a peaceful area, the house is really nice, very clean and we had everything (all the amenities) we needed there. More than this there is enough space inside and outside. Outside there is a spacious terrace and a playground area dedicated for kids. The nearest beach (which is wonderful and baby friendly ) is approx 5-7 min by foot. Jenny provided a lot of recommendations for restaurant, takeaway, beaches and many more so do not hesitate to contact her if you need something. Discreetly located on a hill, surrounded by 20 ha of land, the villa with swimming pool offers a fantastic view of Drama and its surroundings. The architecture of the house is fantastic and the decor of the rooms is extremely stylish. All rooms have air conditioning and the kitchen is fully equipped for the kitchen. There is a Greek tavern in the neighborhood and in a few minutes driving distance there are two supermarkets. The sea is about 40 min away. Distance, but the property is so nice that we stayed there most of the time. Last but not least, Anna, Achim and family are great hosts.

This is a great place to stay. We very much enjoyed the beautiful house, the gardens, the swimming pool, and having breakfast and dinner in the outdoor dining area. The house is in a quiet spot a short walk to the village of Prinos and a 15 minute walk to the beach through a country path surrounded by breathtaking fields of ancient olive trees. We had easy communication all along with Rania, who was very friendly and helpful. We were nicely welcome to the house by her mum, Mrs Jenny, who leaves next door. She was willing to arrange meals and provide help whenever asked, while her assistant maintained the pool, the house and the garden in tiptop condition throughout. All in all this is a unique place that made our stay a very enjoyable one. We would certainly come back if we can.

We spent wonderful time with all our big family and had amazing incoming surprise from the Tasos Stella. Garden is beautiful and weather was nice. Sea is closed, so we enjoyed nice time on the beach too. Many thanks to Stella and Tasos!

We felt as if we were at home thanks to the beautiful dishes and treats of our hosts, beyond a great view, Dora and lefter. We felt as if we were at home thanks to the beautiful dishes and treats of the horse. We felt as if we were embarrassed by the helpfulness and goodness of Lefterin's gifts, Dora and Lefterin's behavior made us feel like we knew them for years, we went there and got to know them, we made two beautiful friends, we definitely want to go back to that environment. Thank you very much for everything, such people are rare and rare, you should definitely go and see this environment.

A house with character and history. Maybe it may sound gloomy to some but it was a nice experience for my family and I. There are antiques. Only grease was missing in the kitchen. The house had a stone courtyard. There is a nice area for breakfast but you should take precautions with bees. I wish it was in an olive grove like the pictures, but that was enough.

Katerina is a perfect host and an absolutely lovely person. She was warm and sweet, always responsive and also knowing how to respect her guests’ privacy and make them feel at home. We would love to visit her again, as soon as we can. ❤️

A lovely home situated to a beautiful village with great views to the surrounding mountains. A perfect place for relaxing and escape from the urban jungle. Konstantinos was a very helpful and friendly host. Overall a great stay!

I think this apartment was the best we could find for a group of 5 people . excelent conditions, very clean, and very good quality furniture. It looks like personal house and we felt like we were visiting our relatives :) host is very friendly and communication was very easy. In the yard there is place for barbecue and playground for the kids to play. We were going to Golden Beach from Here and it was 15 minutes

Very quiet place, very easily accessible. We enjoyed every moment in the cottage. Also Pantelis is a very responsive and friendly host. We will be back for sure!

We stayed 6 nights here and it was an amazing experience. The best thing was the small beach just a few steps from the house we stayed. A very quiet place, lots of outdoor space and places with natural shade. The night sky seen from the beach is absolutely amazing as well as the sunrise for those who are morning people . You can have breakfast and coffee at the location and Lina is a very nice person always willing to help you with any informations you need. A few very good restaurants only 5 or 10 minutes drive from where we stayed. Definitely we will return to Lina next time we come to Thassos.

We had a fabulous 10 days at Akile's place in Kallirachi. The villa was lovely and we enjoyed the view and the pool. Akile was very helpful and accommodating with check in and bringing us a fan as it was so hot - thank you. Great place to stay :)

It was a magical vacation. Very clean and bright house, great pool with mountain view. A complete feeling of harmony with nature. The house is perfectly designed, with very good thermal isolation. The best option - come by car. The house is located at some distance from the beach. The nearest beach is one of the best on the island. It is very long and therefore gives a great choice of umbrellas/loungers with a wide range of prices. Special thanks to the owner of the house. Orestis is a true professional. He is always on call. Very friendly and solves problems instantly.

We stayed here in a group of 10 and had such an amazing time. The villa is beautiful and has everything you need, the pool area is 10/10, all the rooms were clean and spacious. Evgenis was so proactive, helping us out in every way possible- even arranging a cake for my birthday!! We did a private boat trip, and took taxis into kavala town, it’s such a beautiful town, we felt like the only tourists there! The quiet beach is a short walk away and so are some amazing restaurants. We couldn’t fault this accommodation, and would definitely recommend!

Really great location for families need to rest and still have Thassos island at your disposition, house have everything you need for a great vacation, either great pool if feel like not to go to the sea on some days, few Taverns walk distance, or fancy ones if want to drive, if have pet will feel better than home:) About Tassos the host, almost he's reading your minds what you will need :), will feel real Greek hospitality

We recently had a wonderful vacation on the island of Thasos, staying in a fantastic accommodation. The house was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We had everything needed for comfortable living. Special thanks to our host Orestis. He was very hospitable and always ready to help. He gave us many useful tips about local restaurants, beaches, and interesting places to visit. Thanks to his recommendations, we discovered real gems of the island.We will definitely return here again and recommend this accommodation to everyone planning a trip to Thasos!
