Wir waren im Juli 2024 für 14 Tage zu dritt in diesem schönen Haus. Die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen, alles war wie beschrieben. Das Haus befindet sich in den Bergen und ist nur über kurvenreiche Straßen zu erreichen. Belohnt wird man mit einer ruhigen Lage fernab der großen Touristenzentren. Das haben wir sehr genossen! Im Radius von 1h-Autofahrt gibt es viele tolle Ausflugsziele. Zwei schöne (und vor allem nicht überfüllte Strände) sind in 10-15min mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Auch die Auswahl an Tavernen mit leckerem traditionellen Essen ist groß, wenn man ein paar Minuten Autofahrt in Kauf nimmt. Empfehlen können wir entspannte Spaziergänge während der herrlichen Sonnenuntergänge. Dafür bietet die unmittelbare Umgebung des Hauses einige schöne Wege. Von uns also eine absolute Empfehlung!

It‘s all about the details of design and living (from the signature house scent and the open-air shower to the tasteful interior design and the infinity pool overlooking the rough cliffs of crete), total peace far away from hustle and bustle and waking up to the breathtaking, unmatched view of the sea right from your bed. Einat was a great host, she welcomed us personally and was always there for any questions. Good to know: In the region are not many mini- or supermarkets and everything is at least a 15 min drive away. But you can enjoy a delicious breakfast at the apartment if you want so and Einats recommendations for great tavernas, beaches and beautiful villages in the area are worth every ride! You should listen to her tips, because some of them were the gems of our crete trip for sure. It was definetly not our last visit. Thanks for the great experience!

Ett fantastiskt hus med underbar havsutsikt och alla bekvämligheter! Smakfullt inrett med bra kvalitet både inomhus och utomhus. Mycket privat läge utan insyn. Ljuvlig altan med pool, parasoller och utemöbler. Blev mottagna personligen i huset på utsatt tid och fick en rundvisning av huset och alla funktioner samt en korg med specialiteter från Kreta. Gångavstånd ca 5-10 min till Plakias med affärer och restauranger. Det enda vi hade önskat var några fler krokar att hänga kläder på.

Book this! Amalen Suites (only 5 for the entire property) is in the perfect spot! Close to everything but at night quiet and extremely secure! My favorite part of my stay was the staff that ran Amalen! Thank you so much Maria, Jakob, Tolis, and Josie!!! Everyone was so so so kind and gave amazing recommendations for my stay. The breakfast served every morning was phenomenal as well!!! Oh and! My all time favorite products are used at this location (Olive Era) so I was able to buy some bottles to take home too. And because I was traveling alone they checked in with me everyday and made sure I was safe during my stay which means a lot! I truly had an amazing time at this hotel and highly highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND for couples that are traveling through Crete. The city in which Amalen is located is large and can be tough to find parking all of the time so I also did love that this was close to many restaurants, shops, IG worthy cute alleys and a 2 minute walk to the ocean. Thank you!!

this is a great Villa to stay at in central Crete that made it easy to branch off to many other areas of the island the best part was the Villa itself with its swimming pool and the views. great place to stay close to the small village of margarite. highly recommend it's got to be one of the best places to stay in all of Crete. Michalis was a great representing host.

Mehr geht einfach nicht! Die Villa ist schöner als auf den Bildern! Es ist einer der schönsten Orte, eins der schönsten Häuser und einer der besten Ecke auf Kreta! Allerdings muss man mit sich selbst etwas anfangen können, denn es ist wenig drum herum los. Aber so etwas hochwertiges haben wir selten gesehen! Alle Materialien des Hauses sind so toll zusammen ausgesucht und es ist einfach nur wunderschön 🤩

Der Urlaub in dieser Ferienwohnung war traumhaft schön! Georgios und Despoina waren liebenswerte und sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Wir hatten von unserer Terrasse /Balkon und sogar vom Bett aus einen wunderschönen Blick über die Bucht und das Meer! Wir konnten uns nicht daran satt sehen. Die Wohnung war top ausgestattet und die Einrichtung sehr modern. Wir haben die Zeit dort so sehr genossen und möchten auf jeden Fall wiederkommen :-) Wir vermissen Matala jetzt schon!
