Little Studio in an authentic village (#1)

My place is close to the center of the area of Lassithi. This makes it a good starting point for visits to all interesting sites and beaches of the area. You’ll love my place because of the quietness. It's at the edge of an authentic, non-touristic village, just above the river stream that runs next to the village (usually dry in the summer, but still offering nice walks next to it and a cool refreshing breeze at night). My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (1-2 kids).

Well where to start!? First of all some context - we have been lucky enough to have holidayed in some amazing properties over the last twelve years or so, all across Europe: France; Portugal; Italy; Spain. But this experience has outshone them all. This property is utterly breathtaking: well appointed, tasteful, clean, the facilities and amenities were far beyond our expectations: Acres and acres of private outside space, like a garden of Eden - lovingly maintained, with a multitude of very special, unique, and varied spaces to suit any mood. An extensive outdoor kitchen, take your pick from barbecue, wood stove, and pizza oven… Inside we found perfectly furnished, super fast WiFi, two modern big screen TV’s with all bells and whistles, super cool remote control air conditioning in every room, 3 x WC’s 2 x bathrooms, washing machine/utility areas, 2 wonderful bedrooms, and the swimming pool is by far the best that we have ever experienced. An honour and a privilege to stay here.

Iosif is a wonderful host. Not only as a welcome, but also in between, there was always fresh fruit and delicacies from the region. Iosif also informed and advised us on events and activities in the area. We enjoyed the tranquility and the view of the bay. A beautiful place to relax and explore the surroundings.

The views of the ocean, the mountains are gorgeous! I caught the sunset one morning and every night watch the sunset in the balcony! Life is so beautiful, I have so much gratitudes towards the nature and nice people surrounding s. The host family are so friendly and helpful, made our stay such a sweet memory and special experience, lots of laughs and enjoyment. Smooth communication is the key. We were happy meeting the nicest people.

huge house with beautiful terrace and amazing view in a tiny village. absolute privacy, very calm, you can completely relax. the way to Sitia is about 15 min by car, there you find a lot of shops and restaurants. everything was great, only the double beds are a little bit short for people with a body size over 1,8m. overall highly recommended and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Listing as described. Very well-equipped, clean and functional apartment. The washing machine was not working during our stay, however the hosts were going to do what was necessary to repair it soon. Downtown is within walking distance. Beautiful sea views, very nice balcony. Very quiet at night, quality bedding.

We enjoyed it very much at George's! The apartment is very nice, exactly as described. George always responded super quickly and when the air conditioning had a defect, it was repaired on the same day. I loved the view of the mountains and the olive trees. But the view of Sitia from the balcony was also very nice. Everywhere fly screens in front of the windows, so you could also ventilate well. Only the barking of the dogs in the area disturbed at night. Unfortunately, sleeping with the windows open was not possible. But that was the only thing I have to complain about and George can't do anything about that. Typical of Greek hospitality was also a filled fridge with fruit, water and wine. And coffee for the morning was also available. A rental car is mandatory here, but there is also a parking space right by the house. I highly recommend the place and we would come back :-)
