Holiday rentals in Katakalei

We stayed for one night in Katerina’s place and it was ideal for this, as well for a longer stay. Excellent mattress, bed and bathroom linen, large living room with plenty of natural light, sea view balconies, and fully air conditioned. Ideally situated as there is public parking available and you can then walk around Chora. Katerina was also friendly and responsive, making things easy. The self checkin is also helpful. Only note the small number of staircase steps you have to walk to get to the apartment; not an issue for me, but might be for some others. If you don’t have a mobility difficulty, this shouldn’t scare you though. Highly recommended

We had a fantastic time of the apartment of Ioannis and Anastasia. Both are the best hosts you can imagine. You feel like you're with friends. A wonderful Greek hospitality. Anastasia is an incredibly good cook and baker.  Ioannis gave us products from the garden, which he cares with dedication, from Anastasia pastries and Mussakas. The apartment is much nicer than in the photos. The terrace is very large and the view of the valley to the coast beautiful. A green valley with the blue sea on the horizon. In the morning, the apartment is flooded with light. It has really been thought of everything that makes a holiday enjoyable and even more. The kitchen has everything to cook extensively. Nothing is missing. Ioannis and Anastasia are wonderful special people, and we felt completely comfortable and welcome. We will definitely stay with you again when we are on Andros.

It was a perfect family holiday and we still cannot get over the beauty and location of the villa. The private access to the beach, the incredibly beautiful flowers and plants in the compound, the close proximity to Hora and other places to visit locally. The beautiful light and weather, the crystal blue sea, the sunrises and sunsets. The local caretaker Bittou was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Theoharis, Flora and Bittou for all your care and attention to detail.

Brian's property is amazing and looks exactly like in the pictures, perfectly decorated, it is evident that they have thought of all the little details. The house was incredibly clean, Brian's service and communication with him exceeded all expectations, highly recommend!

Our stay at Orsalias Home in Stenies was truly exceptional. The house is stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and filled with thoughtful details. Soula, our host, was incredibly friendly and flexible. Despite our delayed arrival, she graciously accommodated us, making us feel warmly welcomed even when we arrived late at night. We were traveling with three kids, and the house had more than enough space for everyone. The views are breathtaking, and the peacefulness of the location is unmatched. Stenies itself is a charming village. We loved wandering through the white stairways leading to the church, watching the local kids play basketball in the school courtyard, and enjoying delicious meals at the local taverna, where the food was fantastic and the owners were wonderfully hospitable. This place is truly special. The nearby beaches are beautiful, and it's just a short drive to Chora, perfect for an evening stroll and dinner. We had an unforgettable time here. Thank you so much!

After seeing that Touchstone House was mentioned as: Best village stay, by Conde Nast Traveler, we were delighted to find it on Airbnb. We loved it. We loved the design, the gardens, the pool and many patios and the eclectic mix of high-end amenities and Mediterranean simplicity. It’s a great house to relax, hang out, chill and be comfortable in, with many outdoor areas. It is close to Chora and the beach, with amazing walks and still private and secluded. We enjoyed going through the village and up the pretty path. Everyone was hospitable…kind and polite. We got fresh farm eggs from the neighbor. The staff is brilliant and all areas are impeccably clean and maintained. We will definitely be back. Andros is amazing. John.

My children and I had a really wonderful week at Lyam's beautiful accommodation. It is not often that somewhere not only meets, but exceeds, your expectations. My son summed it up when he said 'this is the most beautiful place that you have ever taken us'! The views were stunning, super relaxed and everything that you need. Jason the property manager was brilliant, endlessly helpful, kind and gave great recommendations on beaches and restaurants. A beautiful place on a wonderful island - thank you so much Lyam!

Stayed in the house of George for 5 nights, everything were perfect, the area very nice and peaceful, a few steps from Chora's centre surrounded by beatiful houses and buildings in general, a lot of entertainment possibilities and perfect food in the area. Local goods and perfect local sweets in a walking distance through out a very beautiful pedestrian street. George is a perfect host. Fully recommended
