It is a short enjoyable walk to town through the forest and across a foot bridge with easy access to all the local amenities. There is a seasonal creek in the fire pit area that runs through the property during the winter and spring. This is a new super insulated home that stays cooler in the summer and comfortably warm in the winter with heated bathroom floors.

Nestled among the trees above scenic Kaslo Bay with views of Kootenay Lake and Mount Loki, this property has the rustic charm of a classic Kootenay cabin with the modern amenities of a brand new build. Centrally located less than 1km from downtown. Access to Kaslo Bay Beach is just a short walk down a steep nature trail. The patio door opens out onto a spacious deck ideal for outdoor entertaining overlooking the bay. Inside there is a cosy wood burning fire for your enjoyment and comfort.

Creek & Forest Retreat by Beach

Forget your worries in this serene retreat. A 5 min walk to a sandy beach to sunbathe, swim or water sports & a 7 min drive to Nakusp. 30 minutes to a soak at Nakusp, Halcyon, Halfway and St. Leon hot springs. Two extra comfortable queen beds, a luxurious kitchen & laundry. Covered deck includes eating & lounging areas by a calming pond. Put on a record and watch branches sway from comfy beds with organic bedding. Pick a book from the collection and sink into an armchair, or do some writing in the study. Take in the lakeview while making yourself a barista-style espresso. Relax into the mountain and tree views from the new bathtub, then slip into a fresh robe.

A Peaceful and Private Studio Suite

A beautiful suite nestled in nature. It is located just outside of Balfour with access to the ferry landing, balfour store, a gas station and bakery. Ainsworth Hotsprings is a short 15 min drive, Kokanee Creek Provincial Park is 10 minutes away and Balfour Golf Course is even closer! Nelson and all its amenities is about a 25 minute jaunt. 4 wheel drive is recommended during winter weather as the last little stretch is a little steeper. Winter weather can be unpredictable.

Moosu Guest House and Spa, Cedar Hot Tub and Sauna

Moosu Guest House is a railroad style cabin designed for two people with 12 foot ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom for a superb stargazing experience. The private, unshared outdoor spa features a salt water cedar hot tub and barrel sauna. Turkish spa towels and linen robes are provided to complete the spa experience. As part of your stay you will be welcomed with a package including coffee from Kaapittiaq Coffee and tea from Virtue Tea.

Lakeview Sunshine Studio

Take it easy at this unique mountain getaway, just steps away from the pebble beach of Kootenay Lake. We get a gorgeous view of the Purcell Mountains and Kootenay Lake, and the suite is situated to take it all in. Lakeview Sunshine Studio has an open floor plan, with entrance and bathroom on ground level. Upstairs is the living area, kitchenette, and Queen Bed. Sunshine spills into the Studio from a large bank of East-facing windows.
