What a special place ! A gem hidden in Vang Vieng. It's not a hotel or just a random place, it's a private dream made with love and passion. We had our best stay in Laos during this 3 days at Mai and Paul's secret paradise. We stayed in their lovely boat house, ideal for a group of 6, very comfortable and right on the paddy field. We enjoyed quiet evenings looking at the stars, beautiful mornings by the river playing with the dogs. During the days, we went for a hike to join the main attraction around (blue lagoon, zipline, viewpoint ...) and we even left directly from the property by kayak ! Every day, we had wonderful breakfast and dinner, homemade, creative and delicious. Paul and Mai did everything to make our stay really cool and smooth. Always available to help us to arrange our travel plan around and to have interesting talks together. Merci merci merci. We hope to visit again !

It was a great pleasure to stay at the Bearlin Gest House. The owner and staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The rooms were modern with a wonderful view of the mountains.

We only had a short trip, and Nouth’s place was good for us. It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot with a great atmosphere, surrounded by nature- just what we needed to relax and recharge. It rained the night we stayed, and we both enjoyed the rain sound and the natural surroundings. We tried rice dishes and coffee at her restaurant, which were both delicious and satisfying after our train ride to Vang Vieng. Nouth was kind and helpful. We enjoyed talking with her. She picked us up from the train station and later dropped us off when we returned to Vientiane. She also helped us rent a scooter, which made it easy to explore the town. We went around the town and watched sunset. Highly recommend this place!

We stayed 3nights in one of the Bungalows and had a lovely time. Nouth is an amazing host, very lovely and told as a lot about Vang Vieng and other things. She even picked us up at the trainstation and also brought us back there once we left. The Bungalows are like in the pictures. Ours was clean and the AC was perfect. Nouth also organized a scooter for us. Thank you!

Mein Freund und ich haben 3 Tage bei Nouth verbracht. Wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde an wohl gefühlt. Unser Bungalow war sauber und das Bett sehr gemütlich. Wir hatten einen schönen Ausblick auf die Berge von der Terasse aus. Nouth hat zwei Hunde, in die wir uns sofort verliebten. Morgens gab es dann ein leckeres Frühstuck mit einer Auswahl an leckeren Sachen und gutem Kaffee. Nouth ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, die einem alles zur Gegend und den Aktivitäten erklärte. Sie ist sehr hilfsbereit, schreibt sofort zurück wenn man nicht weiter wusste. Wir konnten bei ihr Aktivitäten buchen, einen Roller mieten und sie hat sogar kostenlos unsere Wäsche gewaschen. Eine schönere Unterkunft hätte man für Van Vieng sich nicht vorstellen können. Wenn man etwas kleineres privates und persönliches sucht dann ist das hier die perfekte Unterkunft. Danke Nouth wir werden dich herzlich weiter empfehlen!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Secret Island in the Dome. It is the most unique and beautiful air b n b we have ever stayed in. Every little touch is well thought out and creative. My children loved the magic of crossing the river to get to the secluded secret island. The views were beautiful and it felt like a peaceful break from the city. The little playground was also a big hit for the kids. Paul is very friendly and was available whenever we needed him. My two young children ask me every day when we can go back, and they fell in love with Paul's 3 friendly dogs too. Highly recommend staying here if you have the chance to.

Good location for a stay in Vang Vien. Rooftop bar was nice but I always got back too late to enjoy the drinks. Real close to Gary’s Irish Bar, and the famous Sakura Bar. Hotel people are very nice. Water is not very hot, but isn’t extremely cold so that is good in my experience. Host is extremely kind and very responsive. Overall I’d recommend the stay.
