Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Karpathos

Unser Aufenthalt im traditionellen Haus von Ioannis war einfach perfekt. Ioannis weiß ganz genau, worauf es ankommt – seine Unterkunft lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, top ausgestattet und absolut sauber. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht, und alles ist ordentlich und durchdacht. Die Lage ist ruhig und dennoch sehr praktisch: Nur ca. 5 Minuten entfernt liegt der kleine Ort Othos mit einem der günstigsten Supermärkte der Insel und einer Taverne mit ausgezeichnetem Essen. Die Umgebung ist authentisch und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastfreundschaft von Ioannis. Er ist unglaublich freundlich, antwortet sofort auf Fragen und kümmert sich außergewöhnlich aufmerksam um seine Gäste. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens betreut. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Abbiamo alloggiato nell'appartamento di Sofia per una settimana, dal 2 al 9 agosto. Un alloggio incantevole, tranquillo e rilassante, ma a poca distanza dal centro di Pigadia e da tutto il necessario. Un supermercato si trova a pochi passi, davvero molto utile. La casa è arredata con gusto, il patio è la parte più bella, dove è piacevole cenare nel fresco, con la vista sugli ulivi e le vallate, il cielo fitto di stelle. La poltroncina a dondolo resterà nel nostro cuore. Adorabile anche la gattina che di tanto in tanto fa capolino nel patio: bellissima, molto discreta, super affettuosa! Sofia e sua cugina Maria sono state fantastiche! Molto disponibili, simpatiche, calorose, corrette. Sofia parla italiano e questo è davvero un plus. Siamo davvero felici di aver scelto questo appartamento, Karpathos è splendida e accogliente, speriamo di poterci tornare, prima o poi! Grazie Sofia e Maria! 😊

Irene is an absolute superhost. She has a good feel for her guests, their interests and was always very approachable. Everything was as described, very clean, comfortable, welcoming. The beach on the doorstep is fantastic. We will keep the time in very good memory. Thank you Irene for the great stay.

We had a beautiful vacation in Karpathos for a week and main reason except for the amazing beaches is Ritas house as well as Ritas positive attitude during our stay. At first we were thinking to find accommodation in the main town (Pigadia) and then we found Aeri Villa on airbnb,but were thinking that it would be a long drive to the town center,yet we took the best decision ever:location was super peaceful next to Ritas olive grove and with a seaview.Appartment felt 100% like at home,recently renovated,fully equipped with brand new electric appliances plus three wonderful beaches at walking distance on windy days.Thank you Rita for your kindness and warm support during our stay.Will definitely recommend and try to return next year!

Beautiful cozy apartment with an amazing view over Finiki Beach! Finiki is probably one of the most „greek“ and authentic places i‘ve ever been to! Just enjoy the atmosphere and relax. The host was very friendly and everything matched the description. You can easily park your car and reach the beach and the lovely restaurants by foot! We will definitely come back next year!

I stayed 4 nights at Thea. The place is a little house facing the sea on the west side of Olympos. It’ extremely clean and perfectly equipped for a long stay. The very must is the balcony with an amazing view on Olympos, the mountains and wide open sea. Olympos is one of these miraculous places in Greece which is still almost unspoiled by tourism. The village in the mornings and evenings, when the daily tourists are away, is very quiet, with a few family tavernas. If you are a hiker, it’s a dream place, with dry landscapes and vertiginous mountains falling into the sea. You can also explore the seashore from the quiet little harbour of Diaphani, 15 min by car from Olympos. I hope to be back next year, for a longer stay, and I will definitely try and rent again Fotini’s place.

Wij hebben genoten van het huis en de rustige omgeving. Prachtig uitzicht en hele leuke baaitjes in de buurt. Theo is een fantastische gastheer die heel snel reageert op vragen en leuke weetjes vertelde over het eiland. Dankjewel Theo voor je vriendelijke praatjes en je gastvrijheid. Mede dankzij jou hebben we een geweldige vakantie gehad!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour (7 jours) dans ce petit cocon décoré avec soin par des objets anciens ou choisis avec beaucoup de gout. Les espaces assez petits sont optimisés au maximum, il faut cependant être souple pour se coucher/se lever ;-)) vu que le lit rentre pile poil dans son espace !! mais c'était bien. Coin salon confortable et douillet. Cuisine bien équipée avec lave linge et grand frigidaire. Il nous manquait juste un four (restant plusieurs jours sur une île, nous aimons bien rester au calme le soir et diner à la maison). La terrasse est juste super: équipée de banquettes confortables (une pour chacun !), une jolie table faite avec une ancienne porte peinte en blanc, joli mobilier en bois et corde qui change des chaises en plastique ! ( et oui je suis très attachée au jolies choses -déformation professionnelle- ) on voit le lever du soleil derrière une colline, elle est parfaitement abritée car le meltem a soufflé souvent. Merci pour ce séjour.

Wunderschön oberhalb dem tollen Strand von Kyra Panagia gelegen, die Lage ist atemberaubend! Strand über wenige Stufen gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Große Terrasse, auf welcher man Abends gerne den Ausblick und das Meeresrauschen genießt! Sehr nette Gastgeber, welche jederzeit gut erreichbar waren und sehr flexibel auf die An- und Abreisezeiten eingegangen sind! Super Ausgangsort zum Erkunden der gesamten Insel mit dem Mietauto.

l'appartamento è molto comodo con un bellissimo terrazzo che si affaccia sulla baia di Finiki. forse il villaggio più carino dell'isola con ottimi ristoranti. Il proprietario e tutta la sua famiglia sono molto molto ospitali e gentili.

Alles war einfach top! Evdoxia war super freundlich und hilfsbereit – wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, sehr sauber und perfekt gelegen: direkt am Meer mit einem traumhaften Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Die Gegend ist wunderschön und absolut ruhig – ideal zum Entspannen. Besonders schön: die frischen Feigen am Morgen – die waren richtig lecker! Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! 😊

Probably the best view and terrace in Karpathos! When we were there (May) the sun was shining on the terrace från morning until about 18. Close to the beach, many supermarkets and restaurants, and parking is very easy to find nearby. Stefanos was very helpful when there was a misunderstanding with our booking, and everything was resolved without issue. Highly recommended!

The apartment was absolutely lovely, equipped with everything one might need and spotless clean. We even got water and biscuits upon arrival. Antonia and his mother were always available. For us ship lovers the ideal view on the harbour was a highlight. I'd come here again anytime

Το κατάλυμα ήταν πολύ προσεγμένο και άνετο, με φανταστική θέα και σε όμορφο σημείο. Η Μαρία ήταν πολύ βοηθητική και επικοινωνιακή, βοηθώντας σε ότι χρειαστήκαμε!

Εξαιρετική φιλοξενία από την κ.Βικτωρία και τον κ.Γιώργο! Νιώσαμε σαν το σπίτι μας και ακόμα καλύτερα! Το σπίτι ευρύχωρο, πεντακάθαρο με υπέροχη διακόσμηση και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο με έμφαση στην παραμικρή λεπτομέρεια!! Το συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!!

Apartament Anesis rezerwowałam na czas podróży służbowej i był to świetny wybór. Przestrzenny salon z funkcjonalnie urządzonym aneksem kuchennym, z dużą lodówką i miejscem do wygodnego przygotowania posiłków. Są dwie osobne sypialnie z nowoczesnymi łazienkami, wygodne meble, czysta pościel. Właściciel wyposażył mieszkanie nawet w pralkę. Atutem jest balkon, z którego widać morze, a także zawsze dostępne miejsce parkingowe. Okolica spokojna i blisko do centrum. Pani Stelianna, która powitała w apartamencie, była bardzo sympatyczna i zawsze można było się z nią sprawnie skontaktować. Mile wspominam to miejsce!

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft, wenn man urbanes Leben mit privater Wohnung, Restaurants in Fussnaehe und tollem Meerblick verbinden will. Marina ist eine sehr gute und sehr gastfreundliche Vermieterin, die uns sehr herzlich empfangen und betreut hat. Uns haben die Tage sehr gut gefallen!

Marina’s place is wonderful. Beautiful little apartment, perfect for one or two people. Marina has excellent communication and let’s you set whether or not you would prefer more or less of it (or none at all)! She and her husband were very attentive to a small issue with the shower which was resolved literally within minutes, and they even made a Greek specialty with Karpathian honey on one of my days there - what a nice treat! My only caveat is that the pool in the photos is not actually included in this condo, and I was a bit surprised to find this out when I arrived as this is the reason I booked it. Nonetheless, Marina spoke to the person in the other unit (they share the balcony space), and they were happy to share the pool. While everything else was great, this meant what I thought was a pool just for myself was actually a shared space with someone else. Everything else was wonderful and I would still stay here again! It’s close to the city center without being so close as to be noisy at night, though there are a lot of stairs as Karpathos is a very vertical island! Thanks Marina!

Casa impeccabile,pulita in ordine e con tutto il necessario, perfino il dentifricio!Maria è sempre disponibile e risponde velocemente alle richieste. Se volete stare in un posto meraviglioso,tranquillo,pulito e organizzato andat e da lei! Per giunta abita in un paese atrrezzato ma per niente caotico.Relax al 101%!!

Daniel's apartment was perfect for our 8 day stay. We originally were booked for 6 days, but decided to extend our stay another two! The location was great- within two blocks of the main restaurant strip, but tucked away enough to enjoy peaceful sunsets on the balcony. We liked the layout of the apartment so much we took notes to bring back to New York. Daniel (and Denisa) are great hosts, and responded quickly with any answers to our questions. It was really the ideal stay, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. We recommend this stay to everyone who intends to visit Karpathos.
