Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Karlovac County

Suzanna and her husband are super kind and welcoming, the villa is beautiful with the fireplace and the jacuzzi as an absolute highlight. The area is amazing especially since we stayed here during the winter with lots of snow around us.

The place was wonderful! The house is nice and comfortable, with a lot of space to relax in. The setting is calm, quiet, and makes you feel at one with nature. It’s also a quick drive to the park entrance. Our family of 4 really enjoyed staying here, and we would definitely come back again!

Everything was great. The host is super nice, the apartment was spotless, it had everything we needed. We had a small issue with Google maps, which flagged the place wrong, but we found each other quickly. Would recommend.

Our stay was really comfortable and pleasent. The view from the balcony is beautiful and calming and the house is clean and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed our stay. Would reccomend to everyone who is looking for some peace and rest while visiting Gorski Kotar.

Wow. Cosy and charming. A warm fire in the fireplace in a peaceful, beautiful countryside cabin. It doesn’t get more relaxing than this. Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Natalja is an extremely attentive and responsive host.

This was our very best airbnb experience ever. We were received very warmly. The cottage has everything we needed and is very cozy. But the real asset is the blissful garden and the quiet environment. Everything is very child friendly. For example, the kids were allowed to pet the kittens and go for a walk with the dog. We had to force ourselves to go on outings because we enjoyed the cottage and the hospitality so much.

Great holiday home. Very clean and cosy. Gabi is a wonderful host and the place is really private with a big view towards a valley full of grapes.

This air bnb was beyond any place I have stayed before. The accommodations were roomy and clean and comfortable and the kindness there, meaning the hosts, was abundant and beyond expected. And the grounds, spectacular. You can tell the history family put their hearts into it.

We had a wonderful stay! Nikola was very welcoming and made us feel like part of the family! We had a great time getting to meet their pets on the property - we were homesick for our pets. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

We cannot say enough good things about Branka, Daniel, and their daughters Emma and Klara. They are wonderful, most welcoming people, and it was a pleasure getting to know them. The apartment itself is one of a kind, cosy and welcoming. It has everything one needs for a pleasant stay and it's spotless. Moreover, the hosts will endeavour to accommodate any need you may have. If you are looking for a place that is the very definition of a quiet stay, look no further. The accommodation is at a reasonable distance from both the lakes and Zagreb, so it's and excellent base to explore this part of the Balkans. What more to add? We could not recommend it enough!

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Luka was a great host—he welcomed us warmly with a drink on arrival and was quick to help when we had a small issue with the sound system. We especially loved the grill house, where we ended up spending most of our time relaxing and enjoying meals. As a special touch, Luka even brought us some delicious homemade sausage, which was such a treat. Highly recommend staying here!

The accommodation met the description, Marija was extremely kind. The area is a wonderful, peaceful, beautiful mountainous landscape, about half an hour from Plitvice Lakes. It was really worth the price, I recommend it! 🤗

We really enjoyed staying here. What a wonderful place. The view, the refreshing swimmingpool, the garden... Mladen was very helpful. We came by bus and he came to fetch us, he also drove us to the entrance of Plitvice lakes and gave us good tips. There is a grocery shop and restaurants at walking distance. We warmly recommend this place.

If you like nature, it’s the right place to be! We feel really comfortable, the apartment have everything that you need, perfectly clean and great location. I hope we have the chance to return someday. Thanks!

This place was amazing! So beautiful and private. The pool was awesome and they the view was gorgeous. The cherry trees on the property were ripe and they allowed us to pick some for ourselves. Great place to stay and the host was always responsive and helpful with everything. We loved our stay here.

The house is very clean and perfectly equipped. Igor was quick and reliable to answer any questions we had. The check-in was friendly and we received all the important information. Very nice surroundings with great river landscape a little off the usual main tourist trails on the Adriatic Sea. Through alternating waterfalls + stillwater areas unique experience in the summer warm, crystal clear river, whether by kayak/boat or just for swimming/swimming. Very helpful hostess, on request even a fishing boat with electric motor in the neighborhood was organized, as well as fishing licenses, all very unbureaucratic and uncomplicated. Very rarely experienced such a 1A service. Very well maintained, pet-friendly, spacious property. The listed pictures correspond to reality, as well as the somewhat steep hillside location with the many stairs, which you are happy to accept when a little paradise awaits downstairs. Thanks again to Teja and Ana, the tireless helper on site.

Good accommodation for a trip with many people. Accommodation was clean and well appointed. However, the interior and exterior furnishings already show some signs of heavy use. The loungers by the pool broke during normal use and were then also charged by the landlord at a completely overpriced price. This clouded our stay a bit. We really liked the large outdoor grill and the free firewood. Overall, everything was great and absolutely recommended.

We had a relaxing and enjoyable time in this lovely Vila and the beautiful area. The communication was great - we got answers for everything in a very welcoming and friendly, caring approach. The area is beautiful and the Vila gives you plenty of options for everyone to enjoy- the pool , the sauna and the pool table (we loved it !!) and the relaxing sounds of the lake. Stunning property and location, better than the pictures. We had an amazing stay. Everything you could possibly want and need for an escape to the beautiful hills of Ogulin! A few issues with the house upon arrival including a flooded shower and leaky air con unit, these were swiftly seen to after messaging the host. Also no taxi’s available in the area so bear that in mind! We were unable to use one of the showers for the rest of the trip but in the grand scheme of things this wasn’t the end of the world :) lovely stay and great memories made, thanks!

Good sized house with plenty of space for a number of people. Amazing views and private feel to the house. Good amenities and facilities. The host was very responsive if we had any questions. Easy place to stay at.
