The hosts were very nice, the location is great for bike tours towards the Baltic Sea or Schlei, also the canoe rental is reachable by bike in less than 10 minutes.

We felt very comfortable with Martina. She is very communicative and accommodating. The apartment is very cozy and well decorated. Everything is there. From there you can do a lot, especially if you have a bike with you. Kappeln is very close and can be reached by bike in a few minutes. Cycle paths are well developed and signposted. We will be happy to come back.

Very cozy, idyllic apartment with cabin feeling on the edge of the forest. Perfect for a break in the countryside and nature to escape the hustle and bustle. The apartment is located in a yard with very nice, helpful neighbors. There are also nice walks on the water, the Schlei is within walking distance. We also felt very comfortable in the apartment itself. Had a super relaxing, beautiful time there.

We had a wonderful week at the Schlei. The place was truly fantastic: quiet location, surrounded by greenery, with lots of nature and a wonderful atmosphere to relax and unwind. We found the apartment clean, well equipped and tastefully furnished. The landlords were extremely friendly, warm and easy to communicate with. We immediately felt welcome. A special highlight was the squirrels in the garden, which we provided with nuts every day. In the morning we were often greeted by them, a real treat for nature lovers! It was nice and quiet there. Ideal for children with the large garden. Definitely explore the area by bike. There are bike paths everywhere you don't need a car.

This wonderfully decorated tiny house has given me the chance to fully wind down, wake up to birdsong (and nothing else as it is at the end of a partly paved Country road) and to experience making my matcha in an outdoor kitchen - how fun is that?!? Also talking to these wonderful hosts opened my perspective on life once again in a very rich and warm manner. Birgitt´s tiny house is the absolute go-to place if you want nature, calm, outdoor experience yet love a cozy bed and a (high!) roof over your head in case of rain. Would do it again any time!

The cottage is visually very appealing, and the fantastic location in wonderful tranquility adds to it. In the house, you feel right at home, everything is harmonious and cozy. We were there with 6 people and two dogs. The bedrooms on the upper floor each have their own shower room, in the basement only one room has direct access, from the other bedroom you have to go through this room. It wasn't a problem for us, but with 8 adults it might be a bit annoying. The huge living-dining room with kitchen is very bright and you have a fantastic view. Through the open area incl. stairs and the wooden construction, it is of course more sound-permeable. In good weather, you can relax on the large balcony on the lake side or sunbathe in the beautiful beach chair. Unfortunately, the garden is not fenced, which can be problematic with dogs. Communication with the rental agency was very good. We felt very comfortable!

My husband and I booked Sybille's FW for a week. We received all the necessary information in advance, which made it easy for us to find everything and get into the apartment. This was neat, clean and functional. We were particularly struck by the tranquility in the house and around it. The location was very centrally located for tours by car or bike in the region. Various shopping facilities were within a few minutes' reach. We can 100% recommend the apartment.
