Beachfront holiday rentals in Karangasem Regency

The older colonial home had lots of space and privacy. It was perfect for our family of 4. The local staff were the best selling part and were who we dealt with on a daily basis. They were helpful in sourcing some items that we required and even produced them at local prices. They supported with orientation of the area, sending out laundry, purchasing fresh fruits, and making breakfast daily. They made up rooms in the morning and then were out in no time, leaving us with privacy. Wonderful staff.

Gabriella, the niece of the owner, Cherie, was very responsive and even arranged for us to move rooms during our stay when we asked for more privacy. The wonderfully landscaped grounds of the property are a real oasis overlooking the ocean (a rocky beach in front) in an otherwise not so pretty strip on the northeast coast of Bali (Kubu/Tulamben). The rooms are nicely appointed, very clean and bathrooms are excellent. Water is provided, as is coffee/tea. WiFi is excellent as is air conditioning. Each room has an outside sitting area overlooking the gardens in front of ocean (but not an unobstructed view of ocean). There is a pool and areas to sit/lounge near the ocean. There are two types of cottages: single room cottages with bath and cottages with two rooms separated a common seating area between them. The single room cottage is a bit more private unless there is no others staying in the other room of the two-room cottages. Cherie the owner is super helpful. Restaurant is good.

A beautiful place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Amed was quite a quiet place, but there are some restaurants and cafes nearby. A few things to bear in mind – the bathroom is outdoors which is cool, but may mean seeing some creepy-crawlies. Also, the Villas do not seem to be named on maps yet, so taxi drivers may have trouble finding it. Overall, we loved our stay here. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at Ketut’s was wonderful. They were always responsive to any questions and the housekeeper was friendly and very helpful (also keeping the place lovely and clean!). Location was great, not too far from restaraunts while quiet and peaceful in the evening. From our balcony we could watch the local life going by on the water. Great stay for longer timeframe as it’s lovely and self sufficient! The only challenge was that the AC wasn’t working great and in the middle of the day it was too hot to rest. Ketut was always responsive though in trying to fix this situation. Thanks Ketut for being a wonderful host.

Our one week stay at Dani’s place was most enjoyable and relaxing. The home is set in beautiful, lush surroundings & garden, with lovely views of Mt. Agung from the rear patio. The home is very well set-up and equipped- loved the coffee machine - and well maintained. The pool was most welcome and very well used. Dani’s cooking was a highlight, with different delicious dishes each night and a beautiful breakfast each morning. Highly recommended 😀

Most incredible villa in Bali! Wow what an amazing experience, from start to finish Anna was so fantastic with communication, all the staff at the villa are so lovely and Annisa is a fantastic host! Unfortunately my husband wasn’t feeling very well before we arrived at the villa and got worse during our stay, however the staff couldn’t have been more helpful! Organising a doctor to visit the villa! We also had the most incredible massage! The best we have had on our trip! We also had a private barong performance at the villa which took our breath away! Everything from start to finish is amazing, the food is fantastic and having your own private beach is just perfection! We can’t wait to return! Thank you for having us! X

Great homely villa with everything you need.

I wish i was articulate enough to describe this property, this was a surprise for my partners 40th Birthday. When we got there she was totally overwhelmed in what she saw to a point she had tears in her eyes. This accommodation did not disappoint in any area it was amazing. Exactly like the pictures advertised, it was breathtaking. Beautifully furnished attention to detail, stylish and elegant. it was so calming to wake with just the crashing of the waves in the sea to hear and the sounds of nature around you. Along with the most incredible and helpful staff to assist you during the stay made this so perfect. We would just spend hours at night listening to the sea and looking at the stars at night and in the morning greeted by an incredible view and having breakfast cooked for you by the staff. the villa was kept spotless as it was cleaned every morning a fantastic accomadation a fantastic loaction a fantastic set of staff and a fantastic host who simply could not do enough for you.

This place so far exceeded our hopes/dreams/expectations that it is hard to fully explain. The hosts/staff were amazing. From start to finish. Helpful, prompt, kind, friendly and everything above anything else we could say. They bent over SO far backwards to accommodate some very specific and intricate requests to make our stay absolutely incredible. We can not recommend this place enough. If your desire is to relax and enjoy nature and new friends, this is your best option. Quiet. Beautiful. Restful. Private. The dogs on the property are as friendly as the hosts/staff and make the place seem even more like home. The home-cooked meals were delicious, promptly and beautifully served/presented and plentiful. They gave recommendations for sites to see, other places to eat, a car/driver for excursions and airport transfers. One of our party was on crutches and they were SO helpful in getting her into the water and off the grounds via quad. Just absolutely enjoyable experience.

This place really is a gem, we loved our stay here and my wife is already planning when we can return. Pool is wonderful, the place is spacious and the beds were perfect after a day of diving and jumping in the pool! The staff are really friendly and exceptionally helpful. It is a little remote but some of the local Warungs are amazing too, try Lah Pasih the food is great and the staff are one of the reasons we want to go back. Overall I cannot say enough good things about this place, I love it and I hope you will too.

Niluh was very helpful. For a family with a small children, the room was great. My son enjoyed the pool. The cottage was right across of the Japanese Shipwreck snorkeling spot. Overall, it was fabulous!!

We had an amazing stay at Villa Pantai, more a mansion than villa. Plenty of room, spacious bedrooms with wonderful balcony with sea views. The pool area is perfectly tidy thanks to Wayan and her team. Daily breakfast by the pool was a highlight and a great time to chat to Wayan for her local knowledge, her warmth, charm and hospitality undeniable. Location was great as it’s an easy walk to everything you need. I sleep with earplugs but the road noise is present but the sounds of waves equals it out. Had some great local food at Warung Bintang. Joglo has me dreaming of Pandan Pancakes with coconut caramel, both a must to visit. We were very sad to leave, my third trip to Candidasa as I’m in love with White sand (Virgin) Beach one of the best in Bali. Highly recommend staying 5 stars!🌟

A Hidden Gem in Amed, Bali This villa exceeded all expectations—the photos don’t do it justice. Surrounded by majestic mountains and facing the ocean, waking up to the sound of waves was pure bliss. The setting is surreal, peaceful, and perfect for relaxation. The staff were attentive, and we were greeted with a lovely “Happy Holiday” floral arrangement upon arrival. The villa offers massages indoors with professional massage beds and has full night security, ensuring safety and peace of mind. A major highlight was the direct snorkeling access: while others paid for boat drop-offs, we simply walked down the stairs and dived in! Snorkeling gear was conveniently provided at the villa. Breakfast, included in the stay, was served fresh each morning based on our preferences. A stocked fridge was available for a $$, though guests with kids may wish to request the removal of alcoholic beverages Overall, an unforgettable stay—beautiful, convenient, and serene. I’ll definitely be back!

Barbara’s house is a dream, set in a peaceful and idyllic location. Communication with Barbara was smooth, and the team taking care of the house was very kind and efficient. The only thing we missed were mosquito nets over the beds — though I suppose the low-temperature air conditioning makes up for that. We just prefer not to sleep with the AC on. But this is a minor detail in an otherwise perfect stay. After five days of sea, pool, and total relaxation, it was really hard to leave. We would return without hesitation!

Not the easiest place to find as the resort name was not listed on the Air B&B listing… But once we arrived, it was amazing!!!! The staff was very welcoming and efficient. We arrived a little early and Evi was able to accommodate us with early check-in and an upgrade to the front executive studio at the waters edge. The room was beautiful, clean and the linens and bedding smell so fresh and clean (big plus). I would have to say what made the place so comforting was the way we were greeted by all of the staff, but especially Ms. Petal!! She is an absolute 💎 gem!! Dinner at the onsite restaurant/bar was great/yummy. The staff recommendations on places to visit nearby was clutch! Thanks Garry!! We were so sad to leave but hope to return soon!! Marlina's place is truly a gem! The photos don't do it justice, it actually looks way more beautiful and we immediately feel like home, we spend most of our time hanging out by the living/dining room. We love to cook and the kitchen is fully equipped for that too, it's amazing! The pool and garden is so beautiful and feels so relaxing. The onsite team is also very helpful. Not very large but fits the beach bungalow experience very nicely. The shower and toilet are outside in an enclosed area - so if it's raining you might want to reposition your towels! But it's still nice. I'd stay here again.

Really nice house to stay, the way to the house (the walking path) is less nice and could use some attention. When you are in the house you can enjoy the sea view and sound everyday. The house is big with large bedrooms, bathrooms and living. The living is in the open same as the bathroom. The bedrooms you can close and both have airconditioning. The staff is kind and watching over you and will help you wherever you want. Many restaurants around for several days of nice food!

We had a wonderful stay at the villa! The host, Ari, was incredibly friendly and kind, always ready to help with any questions or needs we had. Their attentiveness made us feel truly welcome. The villa itself offers stunning views that made every moment feel special. Highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable getaway! The resto is just at the side of the villa which makes it very convenient to buy any food or drinks when needed!

Great pool, and very quite, large private garden nice comfortable bed. A bit far from anything and getting transport was a bit hard but there is motorbike hire just out the front. We came to dive the wreck it was only 10mins away. Nice restaurant as villa is in the kubu indah resort
