Tree house Alpinka - lovers nest

EllaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Our stay was really great. Andraž and his lovely wife (I'm sorry that I forget her name) were both very friendly and communicative. We arrived and were able to check in extremely easily. You have to call to come in and out through a gate throughout the daytime, but Andraž answered immediately each time and it was no problem at all. The treehouse itself is so cute and comfortable. The bed and pillows were great. There is a small kitchen which had pretty much everything you would need for a short stay, including oil, salt, sugar, and various spices. The bathroom is fully functioning and the hot water works. We had to wait only 5 or 10 minutes between us showering in order to get enough hot water for us both. The scenery is beautiful and so, so peaceful. We live in the city so it was so lovely to hear nothing but birds, wind and cow bells. Andraž gave us great recommendations for places to go in the day or restaurants to eat at, and even made us reservations 😊 10/10 thankyou!

Vineyard cottage Sunny hill

Matej is a fantastic host – incredibly attentive and kind without ever being intrusive. He made sure we had everything we needed, gave us great tips for local activities, and even gifted us a bottle of his homemade wine. The accommodation isn’t huge, but it’s beautifully designed with handcrafted furniture that adds a lot of charm. The location is simply stunning – we enjoyed beautiful sunsets, relaxing on the terrace in the Jacuzzi, and the view from the sauna is absolutely unbeatable. The surrounding area is incredibly beautiful, with lots of nature to explore and peaceful scenery all around. On top of that, the people in the region are exceptionally warm and welcoming – we felt right at home. We truly didn’t miss a thing. Highly recommend!

Authentic Herders Mountain Hut on Velika planina

DebbieRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We were warmly welcomed on the farm of Maja and her family. There was homemade apple strudel and ice water ready. We also got another ice cream. She clearly described where to go for our shepherds cabin. Once upstairs, it was a bit of a search for the cabin, because they all look alike. We stayed at the cabin for 3 nights with our children aged 4, 6 and 8 and the dog. Enjoyed the surroundings and made beautiful walks. Bring enough food up the mountain to cook. There are some cabins where you can eat and get some cheese and milk. But these are not very close to our cabin. We enjoyed eating in our own cabin after a long day. It was a great experience with the cows around you and a back to basic life.
