Family-friendly holiday rentals in Kamisiana

My friend and I stayed at the accommodation for 5 days and were very satisfied with our stay. The apartment is on the ground floor of a beautiful modern house. The apartment was very well equipped, there was nothing missing. The beautiful terrace with whirlpool is worth highlighting. The location is great. It is about 15 minutes by car to the center of Chania. Several beaches are within walking distance. The house itself is in a quiet location. It offers a good starting point for exploring Crete. Katerina and her husband are great hosts. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a fresh Greek salad, oranges, and wine. A few days later, we received fresh vegetables from the garden. Katerina was always available and very friendly. We felt very comfortable. Overall, we would recommend the accommodation! 5/5 stars!

It was super nice here. We were warmly welcomed and communication went smoothly. The place is as pictured. You're a bit up the mountain, which is super nice because it's much quieter there. The city and the beach are within walking distance. We were very satisfied.

Our stay in Chania was wonderful. The apartment is very spacious and the outdoor areas are beautiful. Ioanna was very accessible and friendly.

Great stay, great location, great views. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Not too noisy at night. The only slightly negative aspect was the shower. Basically made the entire floor flooded. Overall, i would recommend the place and would definitely return.

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

Very nice modern house (less than five years old?) overlooking the sea. Everything in very good working order, including powerful air conditioning in the bedrooms. Frequent cleaning of the pool area was a benefit, particularly when a storm had come in the night before. Very convenient to Rethymno as well as to several bakeries and restaurants towards the centre of the island.

What a wonderful house! We were surprised to be so close to 2 lovely beaches, great hikes and a delicious restaurant. We’re a family with 3 young kids and they loved the swing, swinging bench, jacuzzi, space to play inside. Dimitris left a baby crib, high chair, and toddler potty for us which was super helpful. The best was Dimitris was very kind upon greeting us late at night when we arrived.

A lovely, luxury appartment near the beach and about 30 minutes' walk from the old town of Chania. A well-equipped, clean and beautiful appartment, but above all the warm and friendly hostess Anastasia. She guided us around the area, brought local delicacies, stocked the fridge with food and even drove us to the grocery store with her car. We really enjoyed our stay at the appartment and can wholeheartedly recommend it to others. You certainly wont't be disapointed!

Four friends and I stayed in this rustic, charming, beautiful and overall homie space for 7 days while we attending a wedding and we all unanimously could not have been more happy! This is a space that you feel so great walking into over and over. I had the best meal of my life with the entire party literally around the corner… maybe 20 steps and we were all in glee. The entire area in old town is gorgeous. You cannot see it any other way. There is a vibe to match your needs somewhere around another corner no matter what you look for on your trip. Shopping was excellent. The feeling of safety was consistent throughout the trip. People are friendly and common throughout the town even throughout the wee morning hours as many places do stay open quite late to always provide an option. I had said by day 1 I knew I would already come back here. Vassilis was a proactive and responsive gentleman in hosting. Truly a pleasure to deal with him and I really do hope to return for vacation. If you love a vacation off the beaten track, away from the crowds of tourist resorts... this is your place. The house is located in a small village attached to the rock with stunning views of the Rokka gorge. The terrace you'll share with other guests is perfect for enjoying breakfast or an aperitif. Be aware that there are cats that come looking for food... for those with allergies... Marianna provided us with food for the first night and was always responsive to any questions or problems. Rokka is the ideal place to explore the beaches of the northwest of the island and Chania. The southwest beaches are at least an hour's drive away. We're taking beautiful memories with us Thank you.

Very pleasant stay at Irene's. House very well located in the middle of olive trees and close to many places. Irene is a very welcoming, kind, caring person... we were treated to small specialties when arriving and returning in the evening... i highly recommend. Thank you Irene

There will not be enough superlatives to describe this place. The location overlooking the Venetian Harbor was amazing. The house is historic, beautiful and has all the amenities you will want. You literally won't believe the large rooftop deck with crazy views. The house had lots of interesting things to read, lots of space for a large group and it was stocked with maps and guidebooks. The neighborhood is completely safe. The in-person welcome from the hosts contained some really thoughtful surprises (you will need to find out yourself - I won't ruin the surprise welcome.). The apartment is as it appears in the photos, the terrace is huge, very cool, comfortable for breakfast, lunch or dinner watching the sea. Costas was always available, and left us a basket of fruit, muffins and chocolates. The area is fantastic to spend a few days and get to know part of the island. It is a tourist area but very quiet and comfortable, next to the beautiful town of Chania, which is wonderful and from the apartment you can walk a beautiful one-hour walk. By car it is less than 10 minutes and by bus that stops next to the house. Everything was very comfortable. The beach is also nice and the winged one is very beautiful.

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The place was super clean and everything well maintained. Just felt right at home with an amazing view, great beds and a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Villa for our family party. Spacious, well equipt and with lovely pool and view. There are nice (and inexpensive restaurants within walking distance too). Neighbourhood was peaceful. We felt very much at home, mainly due to the fantastic hosting. Georgia and Andreas are so friendly. Cheerful , beautiful people. They want to make every part of the stay special. Thank you both! ❤️

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. We had a wonderful stay that was far too short at Georgios's. Its studios are very comfortable, located in a peaceful place and environment. The decoration is done with great taste and the small kitchen is a real asset for making meals on site. The beds are comfy and the nights are very quiet. The beach, restaurants and small shops are within walking distance. Georgios is very welcoming while remaining discreet. The pool is superb and pleasant when returning from a hike. The apartment was very nice, just like in the photos. It was very clean, every other day there was new bedding and every day the garbage was emptied. The pool was also nice and clean. The area is very quiet

Villa Celestine is sensational! I can't recommend it enough. The villa is amazing and has all mod cons and luxury features. The views from the middle and top floors are second to none - right on the beach over looping the sea and the habour. The area is beautiful, Kolymbari is the perfect sleepy little seaside village, with plenty of restaurants, gift shops, taxis and waterparks nearby. But the best part was the team of Christina, George and everyone nearby that helped with everything we needed. The service was excellent, i'd say perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Kedria! Along with the amazing view of Chania and Souda, the house was incredibly beautiful, clean, and provided everything we needed for our stay in Chania. The hosts were extremely hospitable and responded to every question and request promptly. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was an extension of their home. They provided all of the necessary baby gear and essentials for our little one, who also had a great time enjoying the pool. We’ve never had more caring and responsive hosts. They gave us so many travel tips and food recommendations that made our stay here in Chania one of our most memorable vacations. HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Our host and the property owner, George, lives next door. He was great! The villa is beautiful and the location was great, also. Clean, fully stocked, and well cared for. But be ready to climb stairs - 3 floors. Also there is not a clothes dryer as the description states and the hot tub is not heated. That was a disappointment as that was a feature we really wanted. All in all, we had a great time.

Nektaria and Niko’s’ hospitality is unmatched! They are such lovely and delightful people and made all of our family feel right at home from the moment we met them. The views and home are one of a kind! Such a special place my family will always remember. Absolutely would recommend to anyone visiting Crete and hope to be back again! :)

The place was great and exactly as the photos suggest. Lots of steep and tiled stairs so a bit challenging with a 18 month old but for 3-4 year olds it was great. We came in May and the heated pool meant they could play in the pool all day. The place is lovely and clean, the outdoor bbq area is super and there are two taverns within walking distance as well as a corner shop. Anyone staying here will have a great holiday!
