House holiday rentals in Kalundborg

The place is incredible! The kitchen is fully equipped, with everything you need (except spices etc., generally you have to buy household items yourself), enough seating to eat together, relax or play. Also, the pool table and all other things were spotless and let the time in the wind fly. About 7 minutes walk to the beach, quiet area to walk, we felt safe at any time! The property is nice and large and you could spend your time there well. The best? Hot tub, sauna and indoor pool! Everything super easy to use. The only "problem" was that the outdoor area was open to the street ergo you were seen in the bikini, less privacy. But there were also few people in the village and they were always friendly. Therefore, that the property is new, a hedge will certainly grow up. We would come back!

We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

We spent a wonderful week at Bryans place with our three kids, who just learned or were abour to learn how to swim. Because the large pool was heated we couldnt get them out of the water, it was amazing. Since the garden had big hedges all around and a sunny terrasse it was just the perfect place to relax and feel comfortable. The house itfelf is gorgeous, since it is actually someones home it is lovely decorated and especially the kitchen misses nothing, which really sets it apart from "tourist only" places. Bryan was always extremely friendly, answered every question and made everything very easy and smooth. Veddelev itself is very nice and quiet, you can walk to a little beach with a pier, the water there is clean and shallow at first, which is again, very kids-friendly. All in all we had a great holiday and hope to visit again soon.

We occupied the house with 2 families with small children and enjoyed the stay very much. In the garden and pool, we could play nicely with the children, a deserted beach is within walking distance.

We were 2 adults and 2 small children on an extended weekend. Beautiful little cottage with the most beautiful garden! Plenty of room for ball games, badminton and hide and seek. Beautiful pool and trampoline were the icing on the cake. Nice amenities, neat and clean. Jeanne was quick to respond to questions. We'd love to come back another time!

A great place to stay with everything you need

The location and the small house are the perfect place for a relaxing time. We loved this place!

We enjoyed the stay in Denmark very much. The fireplace invites you to cozy evenings, the sunrise by the sea is fantastic and the accommodation has everything you need. Highlighted is the excellent contact with Michelle and her cooperation in our interests. Slippers are recommended and well stocked with wood as well. It gets cold very quickly, especially the kitchen floor. A wooden ration is provided on the property. Thank you dear Michelle - we will be happy to come back!

Jakob's home is a gem in a super beautiful area. Good rooms and good beds. However, there was a lack of hanging options for clothes in the room with a cot. Note no freezer, so we had to eat our ice cream (dessert) as soon as we arrived. Nice clean and nice house. Very good communication with Jakob

Very beautiful garden, beautiful surroundings, walking distance to the beach, garden filled with birdsong and fresh air. Campfire, shelter and peace. The house is filled with a good atmosphere, good memories and rooms you want to stay in and relax in. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Annie’s house and would definitely come back. Lovely house with amazing garden, close by the beach and super nice and friendly host. Really the only thing is that you have to clean yourself and even though you know that before booking it I think this is something you dont really want to do on your last vacation day and which should be included in the price.

Very nice summerhouse in beautiful surroundings. We especially enjoyed the large kitchen / family room. We rented the house over the New Year, and would definitely rent it again during the summer months. The instructions were in order, nothing was missing in the kitchen, etc., and Mark is a great host who responds quickly. The cottage is within walking distance to the water.

We spent a wonderful weekend at Zenia’s beautiful place 🌞 Everything was incredibly cozy, well-equipped, and just overall had everything you might need to spend some relaxing days close to the sea 🌊 Zenia was also super friendly and always replied quickly to messages. We’ll hopefully be back! 🥰

The vacation home is large and stylishly furnished. Our family of five had plenty of room here. The kitchen also offers every comfort. The garden is also spacious and offers many opportunities to sit, lie down, play. The view towards Great Bell is fantastic. We were out of season and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. My best friends and I had a wonderful stay at Trine’s Strandhuset. It was one of the most beautiful vacations we’ve ever had. The house has a soul – it fills you with so much energy and peace. The endless view of the sea and horizon, the sunrise you could watch from bed, and the sound of the waves – it all felt like something out of a romantic movie. We felt like we were in a small, magical world of our own. It could’ve been the Hamptons or the English coast – there was this beautiful sense of being completely in the moment. The interior and comfort of the house only added to the experience. It’s filled with so much love and attention to detail, and you can feel that Trine and her family spend their summers here, giving the house its heart and soul. We’ll definitely be coming back. It’s a magical place I will never forget. Thank you, Trine, for letting us step into this little world of yours.

A super nice apartment with everything…. Here you could easily stay longer than our one night

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kirsten's place! The place was just as charming as described – quiet location, with direct access to the lake and perfectly equipped for our fishing trip. Especially nice was the possibility to take a canoe and rowing boat directly from your own property to the water. Kirsten is an exceptionally warm and helpful host. She provided us with all the important information in advance, was always available and took care of everything with so much love for detail – from boat licenses to maps. Just great! The house was cozy, clean and had everything we needed – including well equipped kitchen, freezer and barbecue. And even little extras like firewood were available. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime! Thank you for everything, dear Kirsten! 🙏🏼

Very nice house with great conditions and beautiful surroundings.

We used Thomas' summer house for a weekend with the whole family and were delighted to have the beach and the sea right in front of the terrace and also to be able to see the waves at any time from inside. The house is large, very quiet and allowed us a few wonderful days together. Thomas was available the whole time, we would always recommend staying at his summer house to anyone!
