In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Vacation home on the Drömling

Right on the Drömling, the unique biosphere reserve, is our apartment on the ground floor of a large farmhouse. It has a separate entrance. Parking with the possibility to charge the electric car is available right in front of the house. The courtyard property is completely fenced and therefore ideal for children. The swing, the sandbox and the stilt house may be played with, so that our dog, cats, chickens and ponies quickly become a minor matter. You are welcome to use the pool.

Modern apartment to feel good in Salzwedel

Our 35 sqm apartment was modernized and designed in 2019. It looks bright and friendly as a result. The furnishings are functional, but also comfortable. You can reach the apartment behind the house via a staircase. The entrance is separate and is located on the upper floor of our single-family house built in 2010. The house is situated in beautiful green surroundings not far from the Dumme river, yet you can walk to the idyllic old town of Salzwedel in just a few minutes.

In winter, it is heated with wood and briquettes and it quickly becomes cozy and warm. Fluent cold water is available in the wagon only in the frost-free time! Horses can be brought, 1 ha. Coupling directly on the car. The bathroom and sauna are 50m from the main house.

Time out on the Mittelland Canal

Visit us in our small apartment (30 m²) in a quiet location overlooking the Mittelland Canal. The large garden, which you are welcome to use, and the wind-protected terrace promise relaxation in almost any weather. Parking for bicycles is available on the property (partially covered). This is also the habitat of our Labrador mix Luci. The journey by car to Magdeburg is 15 minutes and to Haldensleben 21 minutes.

The apartment is located on the B71 and may not be idyllically quiet, but you have a great starting point for excursions to Salzwedel, Lake Arendsee, Gardelegen and Wendland. Also feel free to use them as a short stay to recharge for the onward journey or to have a pleasant stay during a business trip.
