Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Kainuu

A spacious single-family home in a beautiful location on a hillside of danger on the edge of a farmhouse. A secluded location with a very peaceful place to stay. Very kind and responsive host. I'd love to stay in the same place again.

We spent over a week at Andre's place and it's a true winter paradise! House is super cozy and warm. Kitchen has everything you may need. Beach sauna and hot tub were a heaven after a cold, snowy day outside. We also were very lucky to see the most bright, beautiful and strong aurora just above the house, that made our stay very special. Andre was very helpful and responsive ❤️

Spacious, cozy, well-equipped place by the lake. Another cabin pretty close and not too much of a sight in between. Overall a positive experience!

We had a great stay at this apartment! The furnishings leave nothing to be desired – everything was clean, modern and thoughtfully furnished. We were particularly enthusiastic about the whirlpool and the sauna - simply great for relaxing. The beds were comfortable and completely fine. The landlords were also super friendly and helpful. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

Cosy house in a middle of nowhere 🙂 the kids felt right at home, fell in love with the little bedroom upstairs and all the toys. The only drawback perhaps is an amount of personal belongings.

A cozy and cozy militia house with everything you need. The house had plenty of room for a family with children to do both indoors and outdoors. The location was peaceful and within convenient distance of Ukkohalla. We had a great time!

What a wonderful property to stay at. There was everything you could need and more besides. We felt at home the second we went through the door. It was easy to find, great instructions and the sauna was great. We choose the property as it was about half an hours drive away from a bear watching site, however, would highly recommend staying here for the peace and quiet. We had bought food in Kajaani at a very large supermarket, however, there are smaller supermarkets in Kuhmo. The property has a very large fridge and freezer so no problem with storage. Should we ever decide to return to the area, we would certainly stay here again.

We really liked our stay at Ella’s place, it was clean, had all the necessities, Ella’s communication was quick and helpful. Location was perfect, easily reachable, the ski resort was a few minutes away, also walking paces, cross ski paces, shop, lake, all within few min ride/walk. The whole family enjoyed the vacation and we hope to come here again next year for skiing or in summer for fishing.

Very nice, the accommodation had a "luxurious" feeling close to the slopes, beautiful surroundings, lovely view. Extra plus for the steam room after a day on the slopes. Sanna responded quickly if there was anything, very nice treatment, happy to come back!

Very nice and peaceful place. Communication with hosts went smoothly. Recommended. The circulating air cook has not been cleaned from an earlier guest, but it was overcome when we washed it ourselves before using it.

The place was very cozy, especially the fireplace created a pleasant atmosphere. I really appreciated the quiet, secluded location – perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. The house was also very well equipped, especially the kitchen left nothing to be desired. Everything was clean and tidy, and communication with the host was straightforward. I can only recommend it!

At the beginning of June, Ukkohalli was particularly peaceful and there were no other tourists nearby. The cottage was clean and well-equipped. Special mentions of the possibility of charging an electric car (although we did not need it on this trip) and two electric bicycles. Board and video games, as well as karaoke equipment, provided entertainment for the evening.

Marko was flexible and always responded to messages quickly. The cottage folder with instructions was especially clear and good with instructions. We'll be back! 😊

Nice and spacious cottage. Great surroundings. Lack of trash bags, tricky room temperature control, and loud kitchen chairs (paws were missing). Definitely the best cottages we've stayed in with four different families. We'd love to rent again!

We are completely satisfied with the cottage, came after the Easter vacant in this cottage. The cottage found everything you need, and the dishes and utensils were great for a longer stay. The sauna has good steam and the sauna cozy, we also had a lot that warmed up quickly and was nice a lot. 😊 Peace of mind throughout your vacation and a cozy yard where you can spend time and the cottage inside is also cozy and tidy.

Adorable little cottage in privacy and still a short distance from everything. Excellent sauna. Marjametsä was right next door and reindeer saw, once even almost in front of the stairs of the cottage. I recommend this place to everyone. I'd love to come back.

A chalet by the water is magical. In the middle of nature, without any noise, the view of the lake brought zenitude. Short chalet to recommend to all lovers of nature and tranquility

One of the nicest places I've been! very thought out place with everything required without taking the esence of a cabin in the woods / lake house. Highly recommended
