Cute cabin for two! Set in the midst of Plumas National Forest, Paxton is very secluded. Walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our own private sand beach. Hiking, swimming and tubing. Close to Lake Almanor, Bucks Lake, the quaint towns of Quincy and Belden, snowshoeing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property.

In addition, the location offers short drives (25 minutes to an hour) to Hat Creek and Burney Falls. Or take a walk to Lake McCumber. Small Cozy Cabin with great views of Shasta Lake. This small cabin can accommodate four. This cabin does allow pets with additional fees of $25 per pet. We also have larger cabins on Airbnb. UPDATE: Shasta Lake is experiencing severe drought and while there are still lots of cool things to do, the Lake on the Sac. Arm is currently experiencing low levels. We do have our dock in front of the resort. Still beautiful views!
