Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Johnson County

Jess was a great host! We loved the surrounding area as it gave us some quiet time that was much needed. The house is so lovely and clean. Jess provided nice snacks and some great kitchen and bathroom necessities. If I every find myself in KC in the near future, I would definitely stay with her again.

My family and I had an amazing time at this house and location. Peaceful neighborhood with tons of squirrels and birds which we all love to watch. My toddler loved to pick the wildflowers and roam the yard and neighborhood on nice days. The location was perfect as it was relatively close to wonderscope, Deanna rose farmstead and other attractions that was recommended by the host. The host was very responsive and the check in and check out instructions were clear and reasonable. I would stay here again when I come to visit family.

We needed a place to stay during a holiday week. We choose this place due to the per friendly, comfortable bed space and great outdoor space. It was fantastic with small touchs to keep our kids happy (popcorn in movie room), our pup happy and ease for us when traveling (dog bowls included). Would recommend the space to anyone!

Kendra was great. Very on top of any questions I had. The house was great and was great for what my buddy and I needed. Especially appreciated the home being dog friendly and not having to crate him when we were gone. A great place. Definitely would book again.

The stay was awesome! I booked this for my wife on Mother's Day. We have 4 children 6, 5, 4, & 3, so it gets hectic at home. Wife needed some time away and this was perfect. Home was clean, fresh, and well presented.Tanner went above and beyond with a small floral arrangement and muffins for the occasion which made the wife smile. We took a moment to enjoy the comfort for an hour or so before leaving Mama to enjoy her peace, which she happily said would love to book again. Despite it being hot out, she enjoyed the hot tub in the late evening and early morning. Though we don't leave messes, Tanner's instructions were to just enjoy the time and not to worry about anything for checkout, making things simple and uncomplicated. My wife appreciates this, and I'm sure I will book again.

This is a great house - especially for families! I traveled with my wife and three kids and this was house was perfect for us. My kids couldn’t get enough of the downstairs/playroom area. The house was very clean and well labeled. The area is also very safe and quiet. Highly recommended!!

The house was very comfortable for a group of 14! We each were able to have our own bedrooms and never had an issue with bathroom space or hot water.

This place is a must-stay when visiting KC! The host was super responsive with clear and helpful instructions. Easy access to everywhere in KC and close to a great area with coffee, breweries, and restaurants. I thought it was a great touch that they included a guide to help you find places to go and things to do. Another great touch was the check-in book in the living room. It was great to see where everyone went on their stays, which gave us ideas for future visits. I would 10/10 recommend staying here.

My wife and I had a great stay at Cheryl's guest suite! From a dedicated parking spot, to easy access, to a fully stocked and immaculate space, I would 100% recommend staying here. The location can't get any better - 18 mins to downtown, 30 mins to airport, walking distance to old OP. Cheryl is an excellent communicator, and was so friendly and accommodating for us on check in / check out.

We stayed at this beautiful Airbnb to celebrate a wedding in KC. Everything was in top notch condition and extremely clean. The host was helpful and checked in throughout our stay. I highly recommend!

Clean, secure, safe, cozy. Cool area by the Library. The Streetcar (free) stops directly outside the building. This spot is not in the dead center of the restaurant districts, which just means it's a little quieter. You can get to the trendy parts of downtown with a 5-20-minute walk (or a 3-10-minute Streetcar ride). So, great location. The apartment is super clean. Everything works and looks nearly brand new. It's a well-kept space. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, smart TVs in the bedroom and living room. No concerns about security. Parking is in a gated deck beside the apartment. The security guard on duty is incredibly helpful - don't hesitate to call them for help finding the parking (if needed) or a general overview of the building. The gym in the building is well-equipped with a variety of machines and weights. Saved me a drive to Planet Fitness. Savannah was quick to respond to any questions I had and communicated well. Bonus: The shower heads are great for people 3'-8' tall!

Jaymi's Airbnb was a great place to stay during my vacation in Kansas City. It’s located in a safe area and a quick drive to restaurants, bars, and other activities. The home was very clean, the AC worked perfectly, and I had everything I needed during my stay. Would recommend!

Rob and Brenda had a very nice spot in downtown KC. We had a concert at the T-Mobile Center and it was really nice to walk over. Plus there are a multitude of wonderful restaurants in the area, as well as, the apartment is situated close to the river market district!

Ryan & Michelle host a very cozy spot with very beautiful surroundings & scenery. Their hardwork shows in both landscaping & cleanliness throughout the property and house. It was a pleasure to meet them both, very nice people! Would absolutely stay here again. 10/10.

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish! This was perfect for our family with two adults, two kiddos, and a small pup. We enjoyed the dining room space for meals and games, and were able to cook some large meals in the kitchen with ease thanks to all the pots and pans and accessories. We were able to get a little laundry done even before we left! Wonderful location as well, close to Broadway and all the shops. Hosts were communicative throughout, very easy check-in and stay overall. Great place and price!

Lovely place to stay. The loft upstairs was very fun for the kids to sleep in. The hosts were very welcoming.

This place was SO peaceful and beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. Everything was just as described. Cindy was very responsive, friendly, and answered all questions that we had during our stay. If you’re looking to get away from the busyness of life, this is the perfect place! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Meg’s cabin is super quaint! It’s tucked away in a nice quiet corner near Kansas City, and makes for a great cottage style vacation. I would recommend this to anyone looking, particularly if you’d prefer not to stay in the urban center. Thanks again, Meg!

We were looking for a quiet secluded space to recharge and Ben’s place was perfect. Clean cozy and well stocked for our needs. It rained most of the time we were there and we enjoyed it from the cozy interior. The lush green trees surrounded the cabin and gave us privacy and quiet. We will return when it’s not raining so we can enjoy the fire pit!
