We are also within walking distance to (one each) fine & casual dining, a local coffee house & grocery store ~ 2miles away. Please read “Other things to note”. Also, bear spray available to borrow if you plan on hiking or strolling through Kincaid park. (Fee charged only if you discharge it.)

The lower level of our Jewel Lake Home with a separate entry, and fun backyard. This is a recent remodel; an eclectic space with vintage wood ceilings and a blend of industrial+ modern detailing. We are 5 minute drive from the airport, and guests can enjoy Alaskan wilderness right from this space. A forested trail system lies right behind our house for walking and biking. Guests may collect eggs from our chickens, use our forest-side hot tub, stoke the firepit, or use the canoe at Sand Lake.

We have a private 1,500 square foot, 2BR apartment (the bottom half of our house) with a bathroom, kitchen, and laundry room in a single-family home in south Anchorage. The downstairs of our home is a completely separate space that is used as a tutoring center during the school year. The unit has its own separate entrance, with plenty of parking. We have a large landscaped backyard. We have 2 lazy golden retrievers that also live on the property.
