Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ithaca

Harel is a great host who even facilitated a baby bed for us! House meets all needs and the beach is within walking distance. In short, recommended!

We had a fabulous week staying in this wonderful property. It’s located near to some of the most beautiful coves and beaches there are in Kefalonia. The village is friendly and a local shop is a few minutes walk away. The actual property is fantastic. It’s beautiful, spacious, clean and homely. There is lots of sociable space to hang out in. Comfortable bedrooms. Clean everywhere and multiple spaces to eat outside and enjoy the forest and sea views. Maria’s communication was excellent. Very clear and very helpful. She was super responsive to any queries and a fantastic host. We would highly recommend this property.

An incredible villa. As others have said, the pictures do not do it justice. The outdoor areas are particularly ‘wow’. The infinity pool is spotless, and has incredible views out across Sivota bay. The loungers are so comfy, and the vine canopy idyllic. We spent many happy afternoons chilling around the pool, listening to music and reading books. The terrace is equally lovely, with the same fantastic views. And the addition of the BBQ and outdoor kitchen meant we could enjoy authentic home cooked fare as the sunset. A really magical place. Inside there’s everything you need; a well stocked kitchen, a hot shower, plentiful towels and very comfy beds. Plenty big enough for four adults. George was a great host - rapid to respond, very accommodating of requests, and friendly to a tee. Something he shares with his parents, who gave us the most special of welcomes on check in! Anna is clearly an experienced traveller and/or host because the villa is very well equipped in the kitchen and outdoors. Towels are provided and fresh bedding is provided mid week. The pool is a nice size and the property is clean and private. The area is very hilly but easily accessible to the nearest beach, restaurants and bakeries. 15/20 minutes from the airport and a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket (a large Lidl is 10/15 minutes away). Would recommend.

An absolute gem of a place. Emma and her mother made our stay simply perfect by providing everything we could have asked for and more. The spacious and comfy house was easy to find and super clean, offering every comfort needed. It offers a lot of privacy and quiet, along with incredible views of the surrounding sea and mountains (the visiting cats were a big plus!). It's location also makes it easy to get to one of the beautiful beaches or a great place to eat after only a short drive. We had an amazing time here and can't wait for a chance to return. Thank you for having us! =D

We have had the most amazing holiday staying at Villa Christina. The villa is exactly as shown in the photos, clean, had everything we needed and a great location with beautiful surroundings. Christina was very responsive, helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Villa Christina. We are already talking about booking again for next year, we can’t wait to come back!

Very nice place, basically in Argostoli but it felt like the countryside - quiet and peaceful. The house is clean and comfortable with a lovely deck and view. The kitchen was also well stocked, and the pool of the nearby resort is free for use and beautiful. Communication was also very easy and well organized. Overall highly recommended!

Absolutely perfect location, peaceful and relaxing place to stay with lots of lovely places to visit nearby. Apartment had everything we needed including very comfortable beds and great air con! Regular cleans and new towels was a bonus. We cannot wait to return!

What a wonderful host! The house is very spacious, extremely clean and the host is the most accommodating. We had a great stay! It’s only a couple of streets away from the beach and everything is walkable! The house got cleaned every 4 days - amazing service! The bedsheets were white and ironed! Highly recommend!

The place was beautiful, cozy, and clean. Good kitchen amenities. Large terrace with a beautiful view of the sea. Great location, good accessibility to the whole island. The locals were very friendly and kind. They also brought us a welcome cake and were interested if everything was fine. I recommend

Lovely place to stay. Lots of places to visit in the area.

This is the second time we’ve stayed in the Chloe villa and it didn’t disappoint! It’s such a beautiful location with an amazing sea view to watch the sunrise. The pool is directly below and the sea over the road which is perfect for early morning swims. Especially due to the changing temperatures in the water where salt meets fresh and there are warm spots and cold spots. It’s a short pebble beach so water shoes (or flippers in my daughter’s case) make getting in and out of the water much easier. Steve was a brilliant host! Nothing was too much trouble. Really responsive and because we had a late flight extended our checkout time until 6pm which meant we could enjoy a full last day. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, including some starter items for your arrival, such as biscuits, jam, milk, butter… and wine! There is a coffee machine, toasty maker & everything else you may need (incl. washing machine and dishwasher) A 20 min coast walk straight to Sami!

This place is a lovely paradise. The beach is quiet, the water is wonderful. If you’re looking to be out of the city and in a quiet area this is perfect for you.

I would recommend this air bnb to anyone visiting Kefalonia. It was just as described and even nicer in person. The location is close to restaurants and supermarkets. The host was incredible, I am not sure super host does him justice. He was extremely responsive, attentive and his guide to the island was so helpful. The location is right across from the turtle viewpoint and we saw turtles everyday. It was extremely clean, well kept and had the essential and more. The laundry machine was a huge bonus. Parking can be a bit difficult during the day as the street does get busy but we were able to find parking in walking distance.

Villa Vada : what a gem! The best villa we have ever stayed in. Beautifully restored, decorated to a very high standard. Very peaceful and private with a stunning view. We had the most fabulous week and will be back!

Nektaria was great right from the start of a very last minute booking, she accommodated my family and I at a few days notice and also allowed us to check in early, the villa itself is immaculate both inside and out, the views are just amazing and take your breath away, I would rate this villa as the best I’ve ever stayed in.

Quite possibly the best villa and location for a quiet and special get away from it all! Sivota is very pretty and has a beautiful marina with many restaurants; lots of villas dotted around the surrounding valley. Most are a bit tricky to get to by car as the lanes and tracks are narrow and stoney, this one is no different as you negotiate the approach. A few trips and you get to used to it though. The villa itself has direct access by foot to the harbour which is a great plus, literally a few minutes and you’re in the owners restaurant which is also fabulous! Elena welcomed us, showed us around, gave us lots of good recommendations for the whole island. We couldn’t have asked for a friendlier host! The villa is perfect! We loved the views, the decor, the pool and especially the private sea access which we used every day for invigorating swims and snorkeling. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, lots of thoughtful touches and welcome goodies. Great villa, superb location!!

The hosts were so lovely and helpful. They very kindly gave us a welcome hamper of food for our first morning and gave us early check-in and late check-out. They even gave us a hamper with nappies and some supplies for the baby which was so kind and thoughtful. The villa is beautiful, clean and is even nicer than the photos can show. We hired a car as there isn't a huge amount in the immediate area but it's so peaceful and it's really easy to get taxi's if you don't have a car. We will definitely book again on our next visit to Kefalonia. Thank you again x

Fantastic villa. Very private but only a few minutes drive from the excellent restaurants etc in Sivota. The pool is amazing, our children only got out of it to sleep! A brilliant stay, thank you

Villa Alex is an outstanding villa situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac with several other villas, all very private and secluded. We stayed for just a few days at the end of September & I wished we could’ve stayed longer. We were met by Marios who is an exceptional host along with his family who were all very friendly & made us feel very welcomed. Marios has a wealth of knowledge in the local area for recommendations for beaches, bars/tavernas & shops. As described the Villa is in a great location to explore the north. Just 10 minutes to the port of Fiscardo with its many restaurants & shops. The Villa itself is amazing & the interior design is beautiful throughout. The kitchen was very well equipped & the entire villa was impressively clean. The outside pool/garden is stunning with all the pots & plants. Fab exterior furniture. BBQ & pizza oven. And amazing sunsets! Villa Alex is a very special place & I hope one day I can return & stay longer, thank you so much Marios & family :)

We had a lovely stay at this home! It’s wonderfully located at the end of a long bump track, close enough to Sivota for dinner, drinks and ice cream. Definitely need a car to get around but once you’re at the house you have a stunning infinity pool, a private path down to the sea and a hot tub. It’s quiet, calm and has a lot of character. Make sure to get a food, coffee and wine shop before you arrive with all the essentials. We’d love to come back again! Our second time in Sivota and this was a brilliant base. We were 4 adults and 4 children / babies!
