Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Itasca County

Roger is a very nice and accommodating person! He was responsive and very helpful from the beginning. The house was clean and was in an excellent location for our needs. The view from his deck is on the lake and dock, and the furniture is nice. The large TV, dishwasher, laundry room etc. were all amenities that we were not expecting for the price. A very nice, comfortable setting!

My family and I had such an incredible stay at Jennifer’s lake house. It was the perfect combination of spacious, cozy, and private for us to spend our Christmas week there. The location and wintry weather had us feeling like we were in a snow globe. The house was even decorated for the season, and had more than enough room for the group we had. Makes me excited for the summer months, as I would absolutely book here again!

The cabin is beautiful. Everything looked just like the pictures. It surely exceeded our expectations, we had a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Thanks Moriah for having such an amazing place ✨️

The listing was very accurate. The view was wonderful! The furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and layout was functional. They provided lots of towels and toilet paper. The half bath made it nice with 7 guests. The only suggestion was maybe a memory foam topper for the master bed as it was a little too firm for my liking. We got to use the kayaks and boat which was very appreciated. I only wish we remembered our fishing poles. The sauna got hot. They even provided the wood! You may be able to find a cheaper place but this one included a lot of extras. We hope to go back again next year.

We stayed with family for ice fishing vacation. We had such a good time. Favorite part is all the fish we caught and the easy access to drive onto the lake. Very clean. Would visit again.

Michael & Joni were great hosts! Very responsive and helpful. The Nordic Nest was an amazing spot and much needed as a spot to relax. The scenery was great and the home was extremely beautiful. Thankful for the great adventures !

The Zen Den Is the perfect name for this cabin! As soon as I walked through the door, I was very impressed. The location is very private and quiet, it felt like I was finally able to get away. The interior was better than the photos, everything from the layout to the appliances, it was just done right. I could sit here and go on and on, the place was extremely clean, beds were comfortable and it's a unique one-of-a-kind stay. It will make you feel right at home. These hosts are absolutely fantastic to communicate with and make everything so simple. They do a great job at keeping up with everything and make stays effortless. I have stayed at their other locations in the past and as always, I was very impressed. I can't wait to come back to this cabin, it is now my go to location for the perfect getaway. Our family has strong roots in the many towns in this area. This home provided the perfect anchor for us while we traveled to spend time with family and friends and celebrate my father’s life. The home was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the view of the lake. I would recommend staying there.

The Deer Lake Apt was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed taking our boat out on the lake. The host was very accommodating and friendly. So nice to find dog friendly places to stay. Our dogs were very happy and content there.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The cottage was unique and exactly like the pictures. We took advantage of the sauna and cooled off in the lake. We biked the Mesabi trail with access nearby. A great weekend getaway!

Very clean & quiet place, right on Pokegama Lake! We had everything we needed and loved the separate little cottage down by the beach. We live in a city, so being in a place with only natural noise and such a dark and star-filled sky was a real treat. The yard is beautiful and green and the whole place is only a few miles from town, and very close to bike and hiking trails, as well as a quarry to swim in. We highly recommend Deb's lakeside retreat and look forward to returning on future trips to Grand Rapids.

We stayed for a night while my kids were skiing CXC at Mt.Itasca. Cozy place. Nice and clean. Would definitely stay again

The lodge was a great place for our family Christmas. There is lots of room. We spent time at the bar playing Bingo. The kitchen has everything you need. Don’t bother to tote crockpots! If you are there in the colder season bring slipper. We will go back.

The cabin was the perfect spot for my parents visit to MN. It was partway between the activities we were doing, hosts were both very attentive and also let everyone enjoy their time. We stayed a week and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend this cabin on the lake.

The cabin was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. Clean linens and a very comfortable bed. Great location right on the lake.

I feel like the pictures of this place do not do it justice. It is a beautiful, serene place and the host put so much thought into meaningful decor. Not only the decor but the amenities available as well. It had everything you could possibly need for a great stay. My husband and I went for a one day retreat to just relax. We loved it so much that we already booked a full weekend in August. Great place!

We had a wonderful stay at The Hideaway! We drove up from Mississippi for a white Christmas and spent most of our time ice skating on the lake, reading, and playing board games. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation: books, games, puzzles, the lake, even extra dog bags for clean up. My oldest went ice fishing a few times. As an amateur baker, I loved that the kitchen had things like bread pans, a pastry blender, a dough scraper, etc. It made the Christmas and New Year’s baking of delicious breads and desserts much easier. Highly recommend and considering another stay this summer!
