House holiday rentals in Issirac

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

What a fantastic week we had with 14 adults! We were there with our family and the house really offered all the space to enjoy together and to retreat from time to time. It is spacious, stylish and super comfortable, with nice bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms and cozy corners to sit together. The outdoor kitchen was our favorite place: cooking, eating and drinking in the evening sun. The area is beautiful. We went canoeing, visited vineyards and caves, but to be honest, the pool was so nice that we often just stayed at home. And with a table tennis table and boules court, you really don't have to be bored for a moment. Eric and Yasmina are incredibly friendly and welcoming and are always ready to help. Francois, the owner, is warm and makes you feel welcome right away. Everything was right in this place. We would definitely come back again!

Absolutely loved this place. You want the south of France in a nutshell? This is it. The gite was spacious, squeaky clean, fully equipped and the beds were so incredibly comfortable. The gite and surrounding buildings were full of character and soul. Jean Claude and Sophie have put so much love into their home and it was a privilege to share it with them. Jean Claude was a true delight. Such a warm and kind gentleman who couldn't do enough for you. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful with lots to see and do. Jean Claude's recommended some wonderful local places to visit too. We would not hesitate to recommend or come again. Thank you for a great stay.

Second stay at Pierre & Sarah and the house is just as fabulous as it was the first time. Attentive yet discrete hosts, gorgeous surroundings. We will be back!

This old converted water mill makes a lovely family house, perfect for all generations. It is isolated (no need to worry about children screaming in the swimming pool) and surrounded by beautiful countryside, with signed hiking trails in all directions. You can walk to the very attractive village of Lussan for an ice cream or drink, (but any sort of food shopping does mean a car journey.) Our group comprised grandparents, parents and three children (aged 3 to 8). The children loved the pool, the trampoline and the bikes. The adults enjoyed boules and molkii. (There's also table tennis and lots of board games.) Vincent, the owner, lives close by and we were amazed at how quickly and efficiently he came round to deal with any little problems.

The place is simply sublime. The house is beautiful and the environment is a real postcard. It is a peaceful place, between stones and nature. The owners are adorable and Blandine is really responsive. Thank you very much.

Mas full of charm, well decorated, lots of robots and kitchen utensils at our disposal, very pleasant petanque court, small walks with their bikes, beautiful lavender fields adjoining the well wooded garden (which also implies a lot of wasps at the pool, but our hosts are not to blame), 4 bedrooms including 2 with air conditioning... Delighted with this weekend. I recommend it;-)

Nice, cozy house in a beautiful village. Authentic and quiet. The house is well equipped and it was very clean. Good starting point for exploring the Ardèche.

A perfect little house to escape to! Ideally located in the Cevennes, super quiet, decorated with great taste and well equipped. With extra pool and beautiful pétanque track... And hosts available, responsive and very friendly!

We were hosted very well by Isabelle and Philippe, in a peaceful and natural setting. The accommodation is really great and atypical, bright and very well arranged. We enjoyed this relaxing three-day weekend, in a wooded environment, in communication with nature. I thank Isabelle and Philippe for their sympathy and availability. I recommend it!!!!

Magical!! Andy and Jess have an absolutely beautiful place that embodies what Airbnb is all about! The decor is well thought out and gorgeous with beautiful French antiques and comfy furniture. The yard was massive with a perfect swimming pool, big grassy area, and places to sit in the shade. We made dinner one evening and sat and chatted with our host which was probably one of our favorite nights. Andy was so warm and welcoming and gave us lots of tips for cute towns and markets. The animals were the happiest pets I’ve ever met and it was fun to hang out with the 2 sweet dogs and friendly cat. Can’t say enough good things about this property. You can feel the soul of it as soon as you enter and I only wish we’d had more time here on our trip through France. Thank you Andy and Jess for your hospitality!

The villa is surrounded by quintessential Provence countryside and the views are spectacular. The villa is very comfortable inside and is finished to a very high standard. The pool is large and the garden is beautifully maintained, making the outdoor spaces very pleasant to relax in. We were just a couple with a young baby, but the villa would be ideal for a larger group. The village of Villedieu is a short (5-10 min) walk down the hill, and is very pretty and peaceful. There is a nice square where you can sit and have a drink, and there is also an Epicerie for essentials. Other recommendations include: Châteauneuf-du-Pape (particularly Le Verger des Papes), Avignon and Pont du Gard, which are all within driving distance (45 mins to 1 hr). The host (Simon) also had some other good recommendations.

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

We had a great stay with our baby and our dog. Serge is welcoming and responsive. The accommodation is peaceful, not overlooked, spacious, well-equipped and we can park right in front of the front door which is nice.

We chose this accommodation to rest and enjoy the activities and walks around and we were fully satisfied with our stay. The accommodation is very clean, well-equipped, with everything you need. We had such an amazing stay at this beautiful farmhouse in Suze-la-Rousse! The home is beautiful—spacious, stylish, and super comfortable. The hosts were really attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a private chef during one evening (recommended by Anais) and he was absolutely incredible. The house came with plenty of linens, a fully stocked kitchen, and all the BBQ equipment we could need. There were also extra services available that made the whole experience even more special. Honestly, it was the perfect stay. Huge thanks to the hosts for making my partners 40th one to remember ☺️

A lovely situated in a tranquil, beautiful spot. Perfect for a family, and equipped with games and nice outdoor space. All renovated and clean. Caroline and her husband are very friendly and welcomed us warmly. We loved it and hope to come back!

The beautiful stone house in Labastide with its lavender-colored shutters caught our eye at first sight. Thanks to the three seating options in front, you can hike in the evening with the sun and sit outside from aperitif to dessert... It is tastefully and originally furnished and not overloaded. The kitchen has everything you need and you can cook there very well. This is also thanks to the excellent markets in the area. Thanks to the excellent mattresses, we slept super well and the street in front of the house is not an issue, so few cars circulate there. The area around Labastide is highly attractive and we went swimming every day, explored the surrounding villages and were in the caves. Everything highly recommended. Thank you Lina, for the attentive hospitality. We will be back!

We had a great time in this beautiful villa. It has all the necessary equipment. Thanks to the air conditioning, the interior of the house (including the bedrooms) stays cool so it's very pleasant for sleeping. Nice terrace with a pool. Photos match reality. Justine hosted us very well. She was responsive by message during the stay when we had any questions. We recommend this house.

This stay was a real joy, from our welcome by Sylvain to our departure, accompanied by Sylvain's mother; sunny people who make you want to come back! The house centralizes everything necessary for a peaceful stay: swimming pool, deckchairs, jacuzzi, ping-pong table, petanque, super comfortable bedding and conducive to a good sleep, to summarize, it is wonderfully good. The house, while being a few minutes from Barjac, is isolated from any noise or other nuisances, we just listen to the little birds that lull us to sleep. In short, we can't wait to come back next year, but for a longer stay: so many pretty villages and activities nearby!
