Enjoy beautiful Lake Independence 25 miles NW of Marquette, MI with a 3-bedroom lake cottage right on the southside of the lake with a sandy beach (217 ft) and dock. Pontoon not included, but there is an open boat slip on our dock (mid-June through mid-October). 2 kayaks & SUPs are included. Some of the best UTV and snowmobiling trails along with backcountry snowmobiling in the U.P. are right in your backdoor. Fish for walleye, perch, pike, and bass on Lake Independence in the summer or winter!

Fully remodeled modern and spacious apartment. Very close to trails, attractions, and downtown Ishpeming. Located on a quiet street the apartment features a queen bed, full size bed, and a comfortable pull out queen sofa sleeper. An all-in-one washer and dryer is available for use as well. After you spend the day exploring the area you can enjoy sitting by the fire in the beautifully renovated sun room. Ishpeming features coffee shops, restaurants, antique shops, and plenty of history.

We are proud of the space we provide and strive to make it comfortable, clean and affordable for your UP visits. So, relax with your family and friends at this peaceful place to stay. We recently added a gas/charcoal grill and updated the seating areas. We will continue to work on improving this home and hope to have a bar & grill and storage built in the back yard and available for next year.
