Lucy communicated with us several times. She made sure that we had the ability to contact her once we arrived if needed. The furnishings were clean, attractive, and comfortable. Neighbors were very friendly.

Cozy 3 bedroom Cottage

IanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This was our second time at Linda's amazing cabins/land. We tried the larger cabin vs. the smaller one we stayed in back in October of 2024. Both cabins were perfect! Literally nothing negative to say! We love the location and our pup loves it too! We will be back in September :)

3 bedroom 2.5 bath

DaveRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Lucy was very communicative abouts the house and activities and attractions nearby. She was very responsive. The house worked very well for our family of 5 with the three baths and two full showers. Nice deck off the back of the house with a couch, table and umbrella and gas grill. We really enjoyed the nice fire pit and big yard and my kids loved the cows right across the street!

The Faulkner Homestead a great place for a getaway

JanieRating, 5 stars14 months ago
Very beautiful lot - wide open fields and nice view. House had a lots of good amenities (cable, wifi, washer and dryer, although no dishwasher) and was good for a weekend trip with a mid sized group including a few small kids. The house itself is older and a bit wonky in places (e. g., no doors separating three bedrooms upstairs), but it was clean and comfortable. Hosts were friendly and responded quickly. Only a short drive to Johnson's shut ins (20 min) and Elephant Rocks 40 min). Would stay again!

Clint Eastwood Cabin

Quiet peaceful stay. We were in town for a funeral so just needed a place to sleep - appreciate the quiet hours, this was definitely more comfortable than a hotel. Happily surprised to have a restaurant in the office just a short walk away for breakfast!

The Gate House

DylanRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Linda’s property was amazing, our first night deer walked right up to the property! Beautiful trees all around, a sense of calm and peacefulness you won’t find in the city! Would recommend for anyone trying to get away from all the lights and sounds of a town. At night there is almost no light, and all you hear are the sounds of nature. Would definitely stay again!

FS Rental #3 Annapolis, MO Black River

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The cabin was perfect for what we needed. We ordered fire wood and Justin had it waiting when we arrived:) My only warning is of the train pull off, with younger kids they got very scared the first time, it gets loud and clanky. But after the intial scare, it was fine and had no problems sleeping through the night. Beds are very comfy.

Hillside Cabin #4 Annapolis, MO Black River

LeighRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Great, affordable place that was close to all the places we wanted to go: Johnson Shut-ins, Elephant Rock, and a waterfall hike. It was right outside of town that if we wanted to go out to eat, it would have been easy, but we enjoyed campfire dinners while there. The cabin easily accommodated all of our young children and kept them entertained. We didn’t want for anything as everything described was provided. The location was private where our kids could enjoy safely playing outside and exploring. It was also a great spot for our dogs. Perfect for a camping trip.

A Place To Relax- Side A

AmandaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Linda’s property is beautiful and the cabin was the perfect size for four of us. We enjoyed hiking the trails on the property, fishing at the pond, and having a bonfire while playing cornhole. Linda answered any questions we had promptly. We would not hesitate to come back if in the area again.

We had such a wonderful stay at the campsite. Very flexible with check in and check out, which we appreciated. Super clean. The live music on Saturday night was the best. Everyone was so friendly. It was our home away from home. We will definitely do it again

Hillside Cabin #3 Annapolis, MO Black River

The cabin was nice, had everything that we needed for our stay. If you are looking for restaurants you had to drive at least 30 minutes to find one, would have been nice if there was one in the town.

Hillside Cabin #2 Annapolis, MO Black River

LorenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
One of the nicest, roomiest cabins I've stayed in South, SW Missouri. Cute little cluster of four cabins around centralized pavilion that had nine picnic tables under it. It was right in town, so convenient. I liked the large bathroom and there were dining trays that came in handy. I had two pets and the pet fees were cheapest I've found, $10 each. Lots of towels too... some places aren't very generous with them.

Cabin #1 Unique Cabin right by the Black River

JadeRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a wonderful time. Great little place to stay although we do wish they were more descriptive about there being no WiFi as well as having three dogs on the property. We also would’ve liked to know that the shower house is located across the property. Other than that would recommend!
