Contemporary Cottage in the Wicklow Mountains

LyaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My favourite place on Earth 😊 While it’s close enough to Dublin, it’s so private and peaceful it feels like you are completely away from civilisation in the most positive way. The surrounding are absolutely stunning, and there is a lot of sightseeing nearby. This place is just perfect for disconnecting from the busy city life. And lastly, Richard and Ben are fantastic hosts, very friendly, responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back here myself šŸ’š

Owenie's Cottage - Enjoy Our Private Hot Tub

PaulRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a great property. Every little thing had been thought of from toiletries to bathrobes and flip flops for the hot tub. There was a fridge full of food and a table of treats to help us celebrate our birthdays. The location was great with a shop, take away and two pubs all within walking distance. There was also a ruined castle, interesting bridge and old abbey within walking distance so there was enough to do for our short stay without having to drive anywhere. Our host was great even allowing a late check out so we were able to enjoy one last dip in the hot tub. We’d highly recommend this property and are already planning a return trip.

The Red Bridge Cottage

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming cottage. The location is absolutely perfect—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful countryside. It was the ideal spot to relax and unwind, with nature right at our doorstep. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It felt like a real home away from home. Our host Mairead was fantastic— She made sure we had everything we needed and had the turf fire lit on our arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty and tranquility of Donegal!

The Snug at Ravenswood

ClaireRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We absolutely loved our stay at The Snug. It’s in a beautiful location and being blessed with good weather meant we got to sit outside in the evenings and enjoy the views and garden (as well as visits from Frances’s lovely dog Bear!) The place is really welcoming, the bed was so comfy and there are lovely organic toiletries in the bathroom. It was just so nice to kick back and relax. Frances was also really friendly and so helpful. She gave us some great suggestions of places to visit. We especially loved Barley Cove! I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to book here again when staying near Cork. The place is an absolute delight.

Traditional Kerry cottage near Glanmore Lake

LeontienRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I have stayed in this cottage quite a few times over the years - and I always enjoy it immensely. The cottage is lovely, decorated in a style that suits its age, and set in the most stunning scenery. It feels as though you're in the middle of nowhere - it is so quiet the deer come right up to the patch of grass in front of the house in the evenings and there are so many different birds it's almost like an orchestra - but you're definitely not: There are two good restaurants in the area, a nice pub near a harbour, a lunchroom in gorgeous gardens and a very well stocked shop-and-tearoom only a 20 minute drive away. So yes, I will come again!

Bridie was a wonderful host! Warm, welcoming, and full of great local tips. Thanks to her, we visited the Nine Stones Viewing Point and loved the stunning views. The farm stay itself was cozy and peaceful, and we especially enjoyed the fresh eggs she left for us on our first morning! Highly recommend.

Our Gorgeous Stone Cottage (Kilcannon House)

SoazigRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Such a warm welcome from lovely hosts, who keep the place charming, with thoughts put in everything, up to a delicious home-made pie!. Gertie is really welcoming but leaves you your space, and the cottage is like a heaven for tired spirits, with the song of birds all around and a beautiful view on the meadows. I will come back!

This place was an absolute gem on our trip around Ireland! It gave us the feeling of being in old Ireland and was so cozy and inviting! Couldn’t have been happier with this place! The area was private and was still close enough to things to do in the surrounding areas! The Host was amazing to top it all off!

Beach House on The Wild Atlantic Way Inch,CoKerry.

Sarah SuttonRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Cecilia's place- the views from the living room and the yard are absolutely incredible. There was plenty of space, the kitchen was well stocked, and the surroundings made this place worth every cent. This is an older home with lots of charm and a few quirks, but Cecilia was extremely helpful and responsive, and even sent someone to check on the wifi when we were having trouble with it. The house is private and quiet, but you could be at the beach in just a few minutes by car. We walked along the Kerry Way and enjoyed the beautiful farmlands and countryside, with a view of the water and the mountains beyond it. This place is a perfect getaway to relax and enjoy the beach and the countryside all in one.

Spacious & Serene Connemara Hideaway

IlseRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The place was spotless and exactly as advertised. we especially loved the tv room as well as the seating area in the kitchen. We loved having breakfast in the light and spacious area and in the evenings we enjoyed snugging in in the TV room as Irish summer nights can be a bit fresh. It was really nice to have some basics available such as oil, sault and dried herbs. The place is really nicely decorated and shows that it was all carefully put together. The kitchen has everything you need and we really liked having a toaster to indulge in all the bread the country has to offer. Restaurants are a bit of a drive away but in return you get a lot of privacy and quietness which imho is a good trade. If there would be one thing we missed it is a but of shelter and maybe decoration of the garden/terrace though we didnt spend a lot of time there as the region has a lot to offer and as said Irish evenings tend to be a bit fresher.

Kilcomane Cottage

MarkRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Kilcomane Cottage is one of the loveliest surprises I've had with an Airbnb booking. As shown in the listing, it sits in a seaside location very close to the southernmost point in West Cork. But it's the property setting that makes this a magical experience. Tucked away on a family farm sitting above the bay, an open gate welcomes you into a stone-lined driveway and lush garden that rises to a stunning view of the peninsula and open sea horizon. The path ends at the cottage, a quaint extension of a bigger house, very private and self-contained. It is surrounded by hedgerows with colorful blooms, rolling green pastures for two beautiful horses, and an expansive view of the sea that takes your breath away. The home is cozy and comfortable, but I found myself spending as much time as possible on the back patio, taking in the sun and dreamlike scene around me, visited only by a few curious and affectionate cats. Evie, many thanks again for hosting and sharing this wonderful place.

Bendan’s cottage- Adults only

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The cottage felt like a hug-warm and loving. The bed is extremely comfortable and there is an electric mattress pad in case you get cold. The bathroom has a modern shower, very large and soft towels with a comfort height toilet. Catherine made a delicious apple pie and some brown bread. The fridge was stocked with staples and the cottage had everything you could ever need. The gardens and outdoor seating areas are amazing. Loved listening to the birds while watching the sun rise and set. Catherine gave us lots of ideas and recommendations on what to do in the area. She is a delight and truly makes the stay here even more special. Highly recommend this place. It’s a 12 on a scale 1-10! We will definitely be back.

Converted Barn in lush Carlow Countryside

PaigeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Breda’s bnb was a perfect end to our countryside holiday. The place is GORGEOUS and you have a lot of privacy from the main house. The bed was luxuriously comfortable, as were the chair and couch. Breda was such a fantastic host, wonderfully friendly and personable, and made sure several times that we had everything we needed. The place truly exceeded our expectations. She currently has five dogs on the property who are all WONDERFUL to be around and incredibly friendly, it was such an amazing surprise. This stay is definitely one of my favourites and one I would not hesitate to book again. Thanks Breda!
