We had an incredible stay at Waterfall Drive, Wongawallan. The property is an absolute haven — tucked away in the scenic Gold Coast hinterland, yet still close enough to shops and coastal attractions. The home itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and designed to make the most of the surrounding natural beauty. Waking up each morning to the sounds of nature and expansive views of the rolling hills was a true highlight. The outdoor areas are stunning, perfect for relaxing with a coffee or wine, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it feel like your own private retreat. Inside, the layout is both functional and luxurious — ideal for families or couples looking for space, comfort, and privacy. The kitchen was well-equiped.

Tammy is a lovely host, who has made a very comfortable ‘home away from home’ experience.

We are a family of 5 with young kids. Christine’s place is much more better than in her photos, plenty of equipments for us to cook and laundry. If you want to go to City, just drive your car to the park and ride ( 2 mins) or walk to the train station (5 mins) and transit to City, it takes around 10 mins. Indooroopilly Mall is close enough, few mins driving only. Christine provided plenty of breakfast ingredients for us during our stay. In conclusion, Christine’s place is highly recommended. Her place is my 1st priority for my stay in Brisbane in coming future.

Staying at Karen’s place was an absolute pleasure. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and sparkling clean, and Karen was always available to answer our questions. Highly recommended!

Alyssa’s place is in a quiet, peaceful location, perfect for relaxation. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, and the living room and balcony provided great spaces for family time. Alyssa and her partner were very friendly, and her son was so kind to play with my kids. Highly recommend this cozy, welcoming spot!

We had the most amazing stay at Karen & Antony’s stunning home ! It is absolutely beautiful. Very spacious and ultra clean and tidy, we loved the decor and the most fabulous views WOW ! The bed was very comfy with a great shower and kitchen. Karen & Antony are wonderful hosts, very kind, friendly, helpful and lovely to chat to we wished we could have stayed longer. Set in the perfect location we didn’t have a car and were able to visit Surfers Paradise & Paradise Point by bus very easily and the local supermarket is only 5 minutes walk. We also walked to pretty Labrador to see the fabulous pelicans being fed which is a daily ritual at 1.30 pm. We would not hesitate to recommend this very special home thank you so much for looking after us Sarah & Martin x

Our stay at “Art Heart” was delightful. The apartment is beautifully presented and very comfortable. Communication with Mark was very easy, clear and helpful. We were attending a very special family event in the area and having the apartment as our home base for 2 nights was wonderful. I highly recommend a stay and would love to return in the future!

**A Pleasant and Comfortable Stay** We had such a great time staying at this granny flat! The host was super friendly and even took us out to experience some local vibes—think a jazz jam , riverside walk followed by a lovely dinner. The place itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. Plus, the location was perfect—close enough to shops. Honestly, couldn’t have asked for a smoother stay. 10/10 would recommend if you want a clean, comfy spot with a host who goes the extra mile!

Our stay was excellent. It was so clean and has everything to live comfortably in for longer stays. The pool is beautiful and clean, the balcony was our hang out area that was reasonably private and the kitchen has everything. Beautifully decorated home., pictures dont do it justice. Although the home is quite small, it conviently had everything we needed as a family of 4 for a few nights. Peaceful, private and relaxing atmosphere. Loved that we were able to bring our fur-baby along with no issues. Would definitely recommend.

Susan’s Lilly Pilly cottage was perfect for holiday! The place is spotless, ideally located and exactly as described. Communication with the Susan was quick and efficient. She was always prompt and helpful in responding. Highly recommended

What a cozy home! Quiet street, easy drive to town center and shops. Bedding was super comfortable and house had all the amenities you’d ever need. Loved the old world charm and Alexis was easy to communicate with and responsive. Highly recommended.

I stayed here with my son for 3 nights and it was perfect. The lounge was made into a very comfortable bed for my son. Karen was an excellent host even having some fold up chairs and umbrella we could take to our sport competition. Beautiful linen and towels. We weren’t traveling with a dog but it is set up great for dogs. Close to shops. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an event to attend. Janette was great to deal with. There was so much food, and bathroom supplies available to us. Everything was clean with attention to detail. A lovely outdoor area and back garden. Microwave, coffee maker and airfryer. Check in is a breeze. Train station is super close. Off street parking available also.

This place is great! I am Ipswich for work a lot and I will stay here again. Beautiful old home, very clean and well appointed. Pool is amazing and the pool table is great too! Brett is very kind and helpful. I loved my stay at House of Joy, highly recommend 👌
