This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

Absolutely rustic and beautiful in every way. Off the beaten path but perfect for the views, quiet, and seclusion. We will never for get this stay and all of the valleys we explored while we were there.

The apartment is very traditional in an old stone house, located in the beautiful Verzasca Valley. The location is the ideal vantage point to explore the valley with its beautiful nature, but also Locarno and Ascona. Please note: the place is on a reservoir, you can't swim there! There are also no supermarkets, bakeries, etc. in the valley, so it is best to do your shopping in advance. The apartment itself is very clean, the kitchen fully equipped, the location very quiet. We were there as a family with 2 children and felt very comfortable. (There are steep stairs in the house, not suitable for very small children). Overall highly recommended!

since we were already here last year, of course we already knew everything. For us, the few days were very relaxing again and we would come back anytime. the apartment is spread over 3 floors but that did not bother us. also that no TV is available, we can only see as an advantage. Sometimes away from everyday life and all the luxury stuff. There are plenty of other possibilities in Ticino. That's luxury enough. Thank you, gladly again.

This home is in an outstanding location overlooking the lake and Lugano. We were blown away by the view from every window. The location was very peaceful, and the home was extremely well-stocked. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony or the covered deck every day (depending on how hot it was!). The home is located a quick drive to downtown Lugano, and a short drive to the top of Monte Bre (highly recommend!) and to Gandria (also highly recommend). We fell in love with Lugano and the surrounding area thanks in part to this house…we will definitely be back.

We are delighted with our stay in Prémeno, which is a very pleasant village. The accommodation was consistent with the photos and we were able to enjoy the balcony. We sympathized with Donatella, she is an available and very warm person that we really enjoyed. We highly recommend this cottage.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Cecilia!! It was a beautiful apartment with a lovely balcony. The area is extremely peaceful and with great access to neighborhood restaurants, the nearby cities of Ascona, Locarno, the lake, the mountains, and plenty of hiking opportunities. It was a great holiday, and Petra was an excellent host, very friendly and great with the communication.

We felt very comfortable at the place and would be happy to come back. The apartment was very clean and it has everything you need. We and our dogs enjoyed the small garden very much. Very quiet and optimal location for activities. The parking is right in front of the house. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much for the lovely stay and see you soon!

Elena was very accommodating, prepared the accommodation superbly and was available for all our questions and concerns. The accommodation itself was spacious, easily accessible and well equipped. The parking lot is shaded and located on the property.

Fantastic location with a wonderful view over the lake. In the middle of the old village in a cute old house. Nearby is a nice bar and a very good restaurant. The apartment is simple, the kitchen very small, but everything you need is there. Highly recommended!!!

We had a wonderful stay as a family of four with a newborn in this charming attic apartment. Located on the third floor of a rustic chalet, the space was cozy, and the view overlooking the river was absolutely breathtaking—easily one of the highlights of our stay. The apartment was well-appointed, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed (and more). The espresso coffee machine—such a thoughtful touch! Convenient private parking made coming and going stress-free. since the apartment is on the third floor and accessed via stairs, packing light is a good idea—but the climb is well worth it for the view and the cozy atmosphere. Though the stairwell is technically shared with the owner who lives on the lower floors, it never felt like a shared space. We had full privacy throughout our stay. Overall, it was a peaceful and comfortable retreat in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature with modern comforts at hand.

The accommodation is in a fantastically beautiful location – ideal for relaxing. Andrea and Raffi were very warm, wonderfully uncomplicated and helpful, we felt welcome from the first moment. Everything was very clean and lovingly furnished, you can tell that a lot of heart is put into it. We will be happy to come back!

We had a lovely stay at Alessandro. The studio is large, well appointed and very clean. We were lucky, with the good weather, to be able to enjoy the garden and loungers provided. And the lovely bouquet of white peonies from the garden of Valeria, which we found on arrival, embalmed the accommodation for our entire stay! Giovanni was a fantastic host! He is extremely responsive, proactive and always willing to help. We had a number of questions about the area throughout our week long stay and was happy to assist however he could. The unit itself is absolutely beautiful with unbelievable views… even better in person! There are a number of great restaurants within walking distance (the Bar across the street was particularly great for breakfast!). We would recommend having a car while you are there as the ferry service is a bit frustrating to navigate (especially as a non-local). Parking is paid during the high season, but usually easy to find a spot (there is a small lot directly across the street). Couldn’t recommend this place enough, Giovanni is a great host.

We spent 4 nights in an absolutely ideal place to rest. The setting is very quiet, with a magnificent view of the lake, perfect for disconnecting. We had an accommodation with an outdoor kitchen, which was really nice to fully enjoy the environment. The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. The place is also perfectly suited for a stay with a small child: there is a sandbox, a swing, some toys on site, a high chair, a baby bed... even board games for family evenings. The owners are lovely, with lots of little touches that make the difference: on our arrival, fresh fruits, yogurts, beers... And for those who like their peace, don't worry, we hardly saw them The only small point of improvement in my opinion would be the addition of a small pool, it would really be the icing on the cake. But otherwise, everything was great, a real little corner of paradise

The accommodation is centrally located, so you can easily reach everything on foot. You can be in the center in 15 minutes or at the Maggia or at the beginning of one of the beautiful hiking trails. In the immediate vicinity (2-5 minutes) there are also several restaurants, bars and shops. Andja welcomed us so warmly and courteously and was always helpful and available. A beautiful home to enjoy the good life in Ticino. We lacked nothing and we would be happy to come back at any time.
