Or the "Burgkirche", a church with an impressive fortification. In the old part of the town you find a whole number of very good wineries. From Ingelheim a ferry takes you to the romantic Rheingau. Behind Bingen (10 km from Ingelheim), the romantic part of the Rhine with ancient castles starts. Ingelheim is close to Mainz and Wiesbaden.

Behind it already flows the small Welzbach, which separates the place from the vineyards with countless hiking possibilities. A vacation in beautiful nature in the heart of the Rheingau near the Schloß Vollrads and Schloss Johannisberg wineries in Stephanshausen. Please feel at home in my detached house with garden! In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.
